    Exactly What They Wanted.

    Friday, September 23 2011
Jason and Sam enjoy their reception, Lulu waits for Dante, and a gun goes off in the warehouse.

Upon waking up in bed together, Sam and Jason bask in the fact that they are married. Sam can't believe she feels so free. Sam gets a call but hands it off to Jason to deal with Maxie. Maxie tells him it's bad luck to see Sam on her wedding day and orders them to get to the church in 20 minutes. Jason hangs up and tells Sam, "This isn't going to be easy."

Sonny stops by Kate's office to invite her to Jason and Sam's wedding. She thinks it's in poor taste since three years ago to the day she was shot at their ceremony. Sonny promises there will be lots of security. She just thinks he can't bear the though of facing everyone who hates him right now alone.

At the hospital hub, Matt opens a letter and celebrates. He sees Alexis and Molly wheeling Kristina out. They thank him for letting her go to the wedding. Mac shows up and the girls tell Alexis he is taking them to the wedding. Alexis grits her teeth and says, "This never gets old." They warn there is one more surprise: Kristina stands up revealing she regained feeling in her legs.

Lulu enlists Ethan's help in setting up a fun way to say yes to Dante's proposal at the loft.

At Lucky's, he and Dante discuss the drug ring. They plan to stake out places Anthony might go. When Lucky looks distracted, Dante tells him he's got it covered. Lulu calls to invite Dante to dinner and tells him to meet her at the loft. After Dante leaves, Lucky finds a couple of pills under the couch.

Lulu and Ethan set up the proposal scene from Dante's favorite opera at his place. Ethan is glad she has something to look forward to. She's glad Luke isn't there to ruin this for her. Ethan feels sorry for Luke because he ran out on everything that mattered to him. Lulu realizes how late it is and ushers him out so she can get changed.

In Lisa's hospital room, Anthony can't understand why she isn't walking up after all the drugs he had pumped into her. He thinks she's missing all the fun when she should have been the one causing it. After he's left, Lisa's finger moves.

Carly visits Michael at the coffee warehouse. They debate Sonny and then Carly asks Michael to go to the wedding with her. Abby shows up and suggests they all go together. Michael leaves to get changed and Carly tells Abby she'll meet them at the wedding because she has a bad feeling being in the warehouse. Once it's empty, Johnny heads to the warehouse to make sure his goon planted the incriminating evidence. He hides when Dante shows up to case the place. Dante hears a noise and draws his gun. Anthony shows up behind Dante with his own gun drawn. Someone fires.

At the church, Maxie discovers that Sam's dress is missing. Meanwhile, Franco fondles the dress in his studio. Sonny shows up at the church and gives Shawn security instructions. Edward and Monica arrive, as do Robin and Patrick as they all wonder why no one else is there. Maxie greets them and learns no one got the mass email she asked Spinelli to send out. Matt shows up and Maxie tells him this is huge disaster, so she can't listen to his news until later. Molly and Kristina arrive and Maxie drags them off to talk about the dress mishap. Michael and Abby walk in and an annoyed Carly arrives to see Sonny talking to their son. Sam and Jason show up in street clothes, much to Maxie's dismay. They greet their guests and tell them there's not going to be a wedding. Carly smiles. Maxie freaks out, but they share that they can't get married because they already are. Maxie is offended and walks away. Molly thinks it's romantic and Spinelli gives instructions to the reception, but Maxie returns to tell them the catering truck overturned so that's ruined too. Sam gets an idea.

Sam and Jason bring the group to the Chinese restaurant where the Yees and their grandson Robert happily welcome them. Maxie tells the family this is probably exactly what Jason and Sam wanted. She then sees the grandmother wearing Sam's boots. Carly tells Jason she's happy for him and assures him she will work on the boundary thing. Monica tells Jason and Sam this was the best non-ceremony she's seen. She knows Alan would have wanted the best for both of them. They show her and Edward the rings they gave them and Sam knows there will be a lot of love between them. As the other guests congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Morgan, Franco's cameras keep an eye on them. Jason and Sam dance, as Kate shows up for Sonny. Franco watches from his studio and dances with Sam's dress.

I don't know what's going down, but I hope it happens before Lulu accepts Dante's propposal.

My Sonny was looking so good. And Shawn, what can I say?

Dang, if Dante walked in and sw Lulu all dressed up, he would turn and run. She looked like a Drag Queen.

I know I wanted something to stop Lulu from accepting Dante's proposa. But I didn't want him shot. That damn Anthony Z. I could wring his neck.

I'm confused. Franco had cameras at the Chinese restaurant too? How'd he know? I thought he set up cameras at the church? Maybe I'm missing something in the recap. Maybe my brain is fried because I'm still pissed about the stupid dumb bleeping send off they had for All My Children. Maybe I'm to mad to understand!

I know Lulu and Dante are both idiots, but I like them. I hope they get married just like I hope Sonny finds someone soon to either hook up with marry, anything to see the old Sonny...ruthless yet sweet. I also pray GW doesn't get any ideas about making waves with JaSam.

got to watch most of todays show. did I hear right Sonny and Kate talking about Sept 23rd being the day they got married?? what purpose did that serve. also am disappointed that Shawn or someone did not find all the cameras that Freako (I mean Franco) planted.seems to tarnish Shawns security skills a bit. But Lisa, Freako, and AZ aside was a good show. so glad they had such a happy wedding!!!

Sonny looked so fine when he walked into Kate's office. I can see why she couldn't get him out of her mind.
    Shawn also looked great.

I hope everyone enjoyed the reception today and it was everything you'd hope it would be.

Was not feeling Carley's too low dress with her "stamp" showing.

I really do not want Dante killed off.

John is making Sonny look like a boy scout.

I’m so glad I chose to take Monday off instead of Thursday.

Before I start gushing about the wedding reception, which was so perfect so far, I just want to throw out a few of my thoughts about the rest of the day:

Nice surprises for Mac and Alexis at GH today. Krissy can stand and walk a few steps and Mac found a couple of puppies to adopt. We all know he’s been lonely – what better than to have a couple of roping puppies to play with…okay, I apologize for that.

Spinelli missed the Spy bots, but so did Shawn. I expected better of these two.

Lulu, when they speak of this day, and they will, just remember you cast yourself in the role of Miss Havisham. Someday, when a little Italian kid is playing with the elevator, you’ll invite him in for tea and play mind games with Ethan’s daughter. Not a spoiler, but I think AZ just shot Dante, but I’m not sure that he wasn’t aiming at Johnny. This guy can hit Kate from the choir loft, but like Sonny isn’t good at close range…which brings me to the bloody wedding dress that Kate keeps locked in the closet, again another Miss Havisham.

Sonny looked all bright and shiny today; however, finding out that September 23rd was the anniversary of AZ’s attempt on Kate’s life really made me wonder if that was the best date for Jason and Sam to be married. Rans – Rings, wedding dresses, and venues aside, this is not a good omen.

What a great wedding week. I didn’t get to see all episodes but the ones that I did were great.

Celebrated yesterday and today at poodles. We had champagne yesterday, so much I almost missed my stop on the tube. Today poodles had a beautiful lunch for several of us fans. Her napkin rings were lug nuts and as a happy she made each of us a bride & groom out of bolts, screws and lug nuts of various sizes–I swear they are pieces of art. The first time I ever saw poodles with a blow torch–all 110 lbs of her I was blown away. LOL.

I hope all JaSam fans were pleased with how this long over due wedding took place. I have never seen a better soap wedding. Wishing everyone a good weekend. GO BEARS!
