Ah Scrimmage, your problem is that you've had Luke on a pedestal all these years. You do know, don't you, that anyone placed on a so called pedestal is bound to fall off. Your man Luke,in your mind, just did. Fortunately for me I never put him on a pedestal, and I don't think the actor thinks the character should be there either. Luke has many, many warts and he's the first to point them out. His acting today shows why he continues to be a major character on this show. His acting is outstanding.

Did I walk away from this show thinking boy I'm glad I watched it? No, but I don't often think that about soaps anyways. However, I did just walk away from two yesterday, half way through them and said, "boy, I'm never wasting my time with these shows again."

Maybe the directors should show signs saying "two days later" "One week later" so that we can get an idea that the incidents are not happening quite so fast. Don't think it would work though,as it's the acting we so love not the passage of time. My opinion only.

Also, Scrimmage, per your quote of the NY Post. That paper is considered the least credible paper in the country, considered sensationalism similar to the Enquirer. So I wouldn't waste too much time on what they post.

Finally, I have one question regarding Jason and Luke. Is Jason angry that Luke had been drinking when he hit Jake, or is he angry that he hit Jake. If he had hit Jake sober would this, then be OK? I mean If Luke was sober when he hit Jake that's OK but if he was drunk than Jason's going to kill him? That part I don't get. Other than that, a great story.

I have to agree with the majority of the people posting that Tracy out shopping - bad writing. Laura not calling or coming back - bad writing. Monica not even showing her new "plastic" face - bad writing. The show is changing - all the old people are slowly being written out and all the new/younger characters being showcased. I am all about that - but they should do it right and give the old characters their place. Now I sound old but I remember back when Lauras parents Rick & Leslie were the main focus of the show - when Laura was introduced on. Now no one ever sees Leslie anymore either - not that is really a bad thing, but not to have Laura call - is wrong.

    good morning everyone:
Special hello to ransomha and all my posters pals.
I wish there are happier storylines to watch on gh but the acting this week alone is top notch by all actors by death
storyline.Luke was so cool in the 80s with Robert. It was so
good to watch but it broke my heart seeing Luke in tears when realizing he killed his grandson.

Hey i really, don't think that this child id dead i think that Franco has him some place and will raise him as his very own child for some sick reason maybe France will now turn out to be a good father to Jake, and take good care of him and educated him with the best college's around the world. This is generally speaking. Franco called Carly to check on their little girl so he say's that he wanted to know how she was doing after her operation, and that he will keep checking on her question why. Doe's Franco have Carly's real baby and if so could it be that Sonny is the true father of such child i am just running with this. Just so many question's here after all we are dealing with Franco anything is possible. Ps glad that Shawn is back it's about time.

Just a thought, maybe Michael switched the DNA from Carly's car to Luke's .. All he would have to do is swab the DNA from one car to another and then wipe Carly's car clean .. Follow me, Luke went to the hospital to tell Michael about Carly being a suspect so his car was there, Michael expressed to Luke that he didn't want anyone upsetting his mother cause of Jocelyn, so maybe Michael to avoid his Mom getting in any trouble made a swap .. Also, when Michael looked at his Mom's car it looked banged up .. then when Max asked Dante where Carly's car was, Dante replied we thought it was in the hospital's garage but it's not there anymore we are looking for it .. Oh well like I said just a thought ..

The Quartermaine family will be affected in a big way. Jake is REALLY Jason Morgan (ex-Quartermaine)son, the grandson of Monica, great-grandson of Edward, and great-nephew of Tracy Quartermaine Spencer. However, baby Aiden is really Lucky Spencer's son (at the moment a Cassidine, no thanks to Helena---could see reappear again)? She can stir the pot again!

Alikatz, I like your reasoning. It's very possible that Michael did exactly that.

    Spoiler*****************
I read that Carly's name surfaces again, some time in the future, as a possible suspect once again.

Luke should be punished for killing that child, If it was Lukes son he would have wanted to see that person punished.

I guess I must be missing something because I don't understand the whole uproar about the current story line. I mean, if people want Disney like stories, then they should watch Disney and leave soaps alone. What GH is doing isn't anything different from what other soaps have done. While I agree that they could do better with some details of the s/l, the story in itself is what soaps are all about. Quite honestly, this is the first story in a long while that I have found myself enjoying; one for the acting and two for the seriousness and depth of the issue. I am invested in how things are going to work out or if they are going to. I am anticipating how the family chooses to handle this as a whole and as individuals.

I know that when other posters have had issues with show they are reminded that it is just a soap, and although I don't like to use that refrain, I will go out on a limb and say, it's a soap. I expect the s/l on soaps to make me angry, happy, sad, pissed off, and all other range of human emotions.
