If Dante and Brenda admit they were lovers, or even that they only slept together once, it would break up Sonny and Brenda, probably sending her out of the country again, put an end to Dante and Lulu, and make Michael the favorite son once again. The Carly trifecta. Even if they don't admit it, but Sonny believes it to be true, Carly wins.

And if Spinelli is the one to offer proof to Sonny, I hope his insurance is paid up.

Jason/Sam/Johnny-Jason asks the guy if Jerry is the Balkan. I think Jerry works for the Balkan but I don't think he is involved with getting Brenda. I think he was hired to distract Jason. Turns out Johnny is the killer. I remember that he contracted his men to the Balkan so he may be more involved than he let on.

Sonny/Brenda/Carly/Spinelli-Brenda and Sonny are so ungrateful, I think I may enjoy Carly and Spinelli breaking them up. Carly's comment that you have to be Cruel to be Kind reminded me of the tune from the 80's sung by Nick Lowe (I think).

Lady Jane/Carly/Jax-I don't blame Lady Jane for getting involved in the mess. Jax should just stay out of it. Plenty of people are involved and Brenda and Sonny dream about going out on a speedboat instead of trying to be helpful.

Johnny/Lisa-Looks like Lisa is now officially a mob physician.

Robin/Nicholas/Patrick/Lisa-Robin just keeps giving Lisa ammunition. She apologizes to Nicholas for her behaviour but doesn't want to get therapy as Patrick suggested. Familiar pattern with her as she refused to get help with her PPD. I am at the point where I wish they would go their separate ways.

The Balkan storyline-I find it hard to believe that it would take three years for the Balkan to take action. I would think that the Balkan would have suspected his son was dead when he disappeared considering his business. In one of the flashbacks, Brenda was seen with Alexander entering her apartment in NY yet he was supposed to be the reason she needed the police in the first place.

    Hi Lily Hunter,

I didn't think about White Collar until you mentioned it in your post. Their storyline is more intriguing and I am more concerned about Ozzie (consider him a more mature version of Spinelli) than Brenda. White Collar manages to portray both the FBI and the criminals as intelligent.

    Sort of off Topic:

Psych had a episode that paid homage to Twin Peaks. During their visit to Dual Pikes for the cinnamon festival, they mentioned General Hospital.

BeanCounter - I'd gotten so into Christmas decorating that I forgot Psych was going to be on last Wednesday. I started watching about 20 minutes in, starting recognizing the actors, and realized that they were doing the homage to Twin Peaks. The "secret relationships" and general hospital reference blew me away. I kept looking for Franco to appear in a mirror as Bob.

BeanCounter - Forget to add the ending to the last post. I watched the entire Twin Peaks homage episode online, thinking about Franco as Bob. Later I saw Franco on Kimmel running up flights of stairs, knocking a person down on the way to the roof of the building Kimmel tapes in, and shouting that he's hosting the Oscars. I was really expecting a dummy to go off the roof.

    Off Topic:

    Hi Lilly,

USA rebroadcasts Psych on Saturday mornings at 9:00 am.

I recorded the show and it cut off as Sean was about to reveal the murderer.

I have noticed some scenes in the Psych shows that seem to spoof GH such as one of the victims in a pose similar to Franco's and of course the dashing impersonator (forgot his name) having a pop star sing Franco's theme.

Just had a thought. If Dante wants to be pro-active to flush Jerry out, he should go to the Jax house and take Lady Jane into custody on some trumped up HSA charges.

I don't understand why Snarly is not upset that Jerry Jax may be coming to Port Charles, after all the man is responsible for Michael being shot in the head and would have killed him and Krissy in Mexico.

I think in Lisa and Johnny we’re seeing a repeat of an apparently time honored soap tradition – a couple bonding romantically for the first time over a gunshot wound. How many couples on GH have started out this way? I know the list includes Sonny and Brenda, Jason and Liz (way back in the boxcar), Lulu and Dante, and I’m sure many others that I can’t remember right off the bat. That’s not even including couples who were already together at the time that one of them got shot, because that would be just about everybody.

Here’s how it will go: Lisa will reluctantly tend to Johnny’s wounds, but it’ll be touch and go for awhile before he’s out of danger. She'll tell him he needs blood, or drugs, or to be put in a real hospital, but he will stubbornly refuse, so she’ll have to stay with him since it would be fatal to leave him unattended. He’ll develop a fever, and get delirious; talking to Lisa about things he would never tell anyone while he was in his right mind, like stories of his horrific childhood with Anthony. With Johnny sobbing like a baby (in his Emmy nomination scene) she'll crawl into his bed to comfort him and stroke his fevered brow. Lisa will become invested in his recovery. Johnny's fever will break and he’ll question why she’s taking such good care of him, instead of just letting him die, but she won’t be able to give him a good answer. As she continues to secretly nurse him back to health he’ll start to feel more like himself, and they grow closer until one day, she returns to change his bandages or something, but they’ll both end up getting naked, and off we go with JoLi.

Let’s see how close I get.
