What Robin needs to do is to forgive Patrick, go to councelling and then renew her wedding vows. Both of them should forget about working at General Hospital and move on. That way Lisa won't be a problem.

I belive the more public time Patrick and Robins spend together the better there chance of showing up Lisa will be.

Somebody needs to take Jax away from Carly. Is Brenda baby alive I hopes its Jacks

Have you ever seen the movie “Goodfellas” ? IMHO it’s one of the great gangster movies of all time. It has a few moments that will make you laugh out loud mixed with scenes of terrifying brutality and violence. I’m not saying that GH is pulling off that same mix nearly as successfully because at best Sonny is a cartoon gangster, but I’m just pointing out an example that shows it CAN be done.

Totally agree, Scrimmage, that it can be done; however, I also totally agree that re GH not pulling it off successfully--and, I think, most importantly, the medium is the message--and soap operas are not the best medium--main stream movies are--to try to pull that one off.
And I also agree that "at best Sonny is a cartoon gangster," and therein lies the big problem.
In the medium of soap opera, I think the audience does want a semblance of realism. And the audience and TPTB must have a mutual understanding of what is acceptable in this medium. The limits, etc.

I was just thinking also yesterday about what the audience did accept in the skillful hands of Gloria Monty and Claire Labine--the "Sunny Side of the Street" with Luke when he was going to become Mayor of PC, the more recent scene where he went to Heaven/Hell--sang "My Way," etc., etc.
And, of course, we all remember the "One Life to Live" infamous--or famous--whichever side you come down--fantasy storylines.

but, then again, there was not an attempt to mix comedy and humor in the same scene at the expense of character violation--yes, requires some delicate balance which was not, in my opinion, happening yesterday.

loved carly's frock. looked smashing on her.

i would love to be a patron in sonnys retirement restaurant.

carly's circle would be humungous with everyone else as little dots in it.

pat and robins would be two of the same size, constantly trying to lay over the top of eachother. they have to learn to meet and be at peace with eachother.

brendas and sonnys was diferent before, but now would be the perfect scenario. they have both grown in awareness of eachother.

spinellies and maxies are star crossed. he wants to meet hers, but she is the ADD circle and cant decide where she will float.

sams and jasons are perfect, although they differ in size perhaps, they meet where they need to and make it work.

tracys and lukes bump around like bumper cars. but they both like it that way so it works in their reality!

dante and lulu. well,,,,you can guess. they aren't even circles. maybe a square and a triangle with the added complication that they morph like ameobas. both immature. haven't found the awareness to tell to truth to themselves or eachother.

johnny and olivia. they were two circles just having fun. like olivia said, a one night stand that maybe should have stopped there. but fun along the way.

kate and coleman. ditto in that fun all the way. wish i could see more of them!!!!!

    who did i miss?

    oh, max and dianne. perfecto.

alexis and mac. we all root for them. someday.

ethan and maya. they are growing on me. i like them, and hope their circles will meet.

thanks that was a fun exercise!

PumpkinGirl – Very nice. Personally, I think since the only thing Johnny and Oblivia have in common is sex, that their relationship would be drawn as two equal circles that touch, and roll around each other but do not intersect. Come to think of it, it would look like a pair of big boobs, which would be appropriate.
