    Just finished watching the show.
Who was Jax calling about Jerry when Carly walked into his office? The look Jax gave Carly when she said he had her to stand up for him was very telling. Sonny was absolutely right - Jax's involvements tend to blow up in his face. Perhaps that's the true bond that Carly and Jax share. Who else could tell her husband that she intended to use his mother, even for a good cause?

Why hasn't anyone told Dante that Jerry Jax was involved in Michael's shooting? I'm fairly sure that Olivia has seen the DVD Jerry left to blackmail Claudia. Neither Sonny or Jason brought up the fact today focusing only on the Metro Court incident.

The best scenes today IMO were the ones that made me laugh. I was surprised at the clever dialogue and subtle talent of the actors involved in each. Tracy, Luke, and Sonny's verbal three-way "toon of a family" "the great white just left the building" "difficult women are the one's worth fighting for, if they don't kill you on the way to happily ever after" reminded me of the days that the actors could use their talents to entertain rather than shuffling through the scenery. The Max, Milo, and Spinelli catered lunch for Sonny and Brenda served at Jason's PH despite Sonny's protestations had all the actors mugging shamelessly and addition of the whistle announced the three ring circus.

I estimate that at least a third of the show was wasted on the Robin/Patrick/Lisa SL. Now that Nik, Steve, and Johnny are being drawn into Lisa's web, it's really time to wrap this one.

Although it is sweet to see Krissy and Michael, that was another encounter that was a waste of airtime, unless the point of it was to set up another attack on Krissy by the new guy in her life. I'll be glad when she goes off to Yale by herself.

Poodles - The ambush on Sam's stalker must have been planned. I can't imagine Sam would spend that much of her day on the phone with Maxie talking about Alexis and Mac. Sam certainly wouldn't take unnecessary chances knowing that Jerry could be the one breaking into her apartment. The 13 year old romantic girl inside me does love to see Jason come to the rescue though. Really great red herring at the end of the scene though. I thought it was odd that the stalker looked a little like Jerry and Jax the other day he was reporting his progress on the pier, so I can see that Jason could mistake this guy for Jerry.

    ****OFF TOPIC***

I think were cut from the same cloth. I too am very picky about where everything goes on the tree. I actually design my tree on paper first so I will have a master plan. My hubby's job is to put the lights on it. We have 12ft ceilings so our tree is really tall and requires a taller person to get the lights just right. I think when the twins are older we will have to get two tree's, one for them and one for me. I love the smell of the pine and the beauty of all the lights.

Nancy marie- I never knew Luke and Laura, as they were before my time. However, from what I have read and been told I do believe they were each others true love. I think Luke might care for Tracey, but IMO it's not real love. Does it work for both of them? Yes. I personally find sad, the way Luke treats her and see her money as his first priority.JMO.

Lily, I'm surprised Jason didn't just shoot him. I think I remember Jason saying he would "take care" of Jerry after Mexico.

I was happy to have Tracy calling out Sonny for being responsible for so many deaths in her family. She has good reason to hate Sonny's guts.

Lily hunter – Thanks for the kind words. I agree with what you wrote as well. If you picture people as circles on a page, some would view a good relationship as two circles sharing the same center point, where, if both circles are of equal size, then everything that is in one circle is also in the other. This kind of total compatibility is rare. If the circles are of different sizes, then one completely encompasses the other. I believe this is the most common type of relationship, and works just fine for a great many people.

In my opinion, the healthiest relationships are the ones where the two circles, regardless of their size intersect at two points. The larger the area they share, the more they have in common, but they retain areas of independence. Having elements of one’s life that are outside of the relationship that are interesting, rich, and rewarding to the individual gives them perspective and makes for a well rounded person, which can only serve to enhance any relationship they’re in. It also gives them something to share with their partner at the end of the day, which keeps things fresh and interesting.

    ***back on topic***

That’s why I feel that couples who work together, like Robin and Patrick, have to work that much harder to do something novel or spontaneous to keep each other interested, and avoid falling into stifling routines. Of course there’s nothing like being stalked by a psycho to spice things up a little.

In this context I would say that Sam is a small circle centered within Jason’s huge circle, and on the other side of the spectrum, Kate and Coleman are large circles that only intersect in a relatively small area, but they’re good with that because it works for them. What concerns Luke and Tracy is that Lulu is in danger of becoming a small dot completely overwhelmed by Dante’s much larger circle.

My question to the rest of you is: How would you draw a circle picture of Carly and Jax? Sonny and Brenda? Max and Diane? Other GH couples?

poodles - You would love to see me wrapping gifts or decorating cookies.LOL

What happened to Franco's promise of a life for a life? I guess we are to believe that Dante took out all the Balkan's men in the previous attempt to take Brenda.

scrimmage - Regarding Jax and Carly, would the circles reflect the reality of their relationship, or the one that exists in Carly's mind? Your concept is intriguing. My favorite company vice president redesigned our division's org chart years ago using your model. We loved the workflow process concept of the interworking units, but other divisions made fun of us because our org chart looked liked a big bug.

It’ll have to wait. Franco is busy getting ready to co-host the Oscars with Anne Hathaway. I guess Steve Martin was busy. I smell another Franco disaster coming.
