DOES ANYONE AGREE W/ ME THAT HIS IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS THAT JJ IS TAKING OVER THE ROLE AGAIN. HE LOOKS 10 YEARS YOUNGER THAN ELIZABTH. NOTHING AGAIN JJ, HE DID A GREAT YEARS AGO, HE IS JUST WAY TO YOUNG FOR THE ROLE THAT HAS BEEN REVAMPED.

WELL, I GUESS YOU HAVE IT. THE SOAP WORLD IS TRYING TO GET THESE SHOWS CANCELLED. LOOK WHAT THEY DID TO AMC. I STOPPED WATCHING WHEN THEY PAIRED ERICA UP W/ RYAN. HOW LAUGHABLE IS THAT. RUIN THE QUEEN OF DAYTIME.

People whining about this are nuts. Nothing against GV, but this character had been written into a corner and I was hoping he would just go away. The old Lucky would not have tried to be a "do it the right way" cop. He was way to much like his Dad. The pathetic way has character has been written the last few years is exactly why they needed to introduce a Luke-like son in Ethan. Hopefully with JJ returning Lucky will get the hell out of that stupid job and pair up with his Dad and new brother to raise some hell.

Liz was in love with Lucky back when he was like Luke. Maybe the return of JJ will help end the lame romance with Nicholas. If anything, the writers should have had her falling for Ethan since his character is closer to the Lucky she started with.

I can't wait for JJ - I just hope they now keep Lucky with Liz and get her away from Nikolas. Please bring back Emily. I am sure they can do something - like Rebecca was really the one killed. COME ON!!

wow, i blame the writing for the way they made lucky. you can't blame the actor for what the character does. they aren't the ones writing their lines.

anybody else think that JJ still has a really feminine voice or is it just me? this show is going to the crapper

I don't have anything against JJ (or GV), but I don't think bringing back a past favorite is the answer to the problem. The actor can't fix bad writing or poor character development. Greg Vaughn is a talented actor, but he had nothing worthwhile to work with after the addiction s/l. I can't imagine why JJ would even want the role now...unless he just hasn't kept up with the show and has no idea how the character has been gutted.

These big splashy publicity stunts aren't going to fix what's been wrong with daytime. TIIC are trying to treat the symptoms instead of fixing the cause of the symptoms.

Here's what I know. As much as I loved Greg Vaughn taking over the role from Jacob Whatshisface, I've never felt the chemistry between Liz and Lucky was the same. As least now, I can join the ranks of those who love Sam and Jason together (as I was really pissed that the writers never gave Liz and Jason a chance). The actor that should have always been playing Lucky is back. HOORAY!
