Soaps In Depth is reporting that Bradford Anderson (ex-Damian Spinelli) is set to make a return to "General Hospital." Damian left Port Charles in December 2013, taking his daughter with him after her mother Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) lost custody. Maxie recently returned in March, along with a new boyfriend Levi (Zachary Garred).

Since departing the show, Anderson and his wife welcomed their second child on May 2. Soaps.com will update you as soon as we learn more about Anderson's return to the show, as well as his first air date.

Oh, thank goodness Spinelli coming back to GH!!! That Maxi storyline is so lame.

Bradford Anderson's Spinelli is a good example of a character who took some time to grow on the audience. When he first came on the show he was a rather irritating student at PCU, geekishly involved with his computer and not beyond scoring the odd weed. He evolved into a beloved, quirky, funny mainstay and his pairing with the equally odd ball Maxie, then the quirky "living on another planet" Ellie was pure gold. The current head writer should take note that popular characters take time to grow on the audience. They rarely become overnight hits.

I look forward to his return.

I'm sure his return has something to do with AJ's phone; bet that's where Carly & Franco went.

Hope this doesn't turn out to be a one-shot appearance designed to suck us 'former' GH fans back in front of the television.. I adore the Spinelli character, but I don't have a lot of faith (or patience)in (and with) the show-runners here. History says they're just tossing us a bone -- considering all the silly, amateurish story lines we've had to endure over the past 18+ months.
