    Written off.

    Port Charles will soon have one less doctor. Actor Scott Reeves (Steve) tweeted this to his fans last night:




    His official final air date has not yet been released and there's no word yet on how his character will be written off. Reeves joined the soap back in December 2009. Soaps.com wishes him all of the best in his future endeavors.

    Why don't they just re-cast the character of Steve rather than have him leave town?

    His past will probably catch up to him and he will be sent to prison in TN .....or heather will try to kill Olivia and get Steve instead!!

    His character is too rich in history to be let go. They underutilized him.

    Alan Quartermaine was rich in show history too and they killed him off. I too think someone is going to try to kill Olivia and Steve is going to get caught in the crossfire!

    It stinks that he just proposed to Olivia and now he's going to leave the show? Makes me wonder how he's going to be taken off? Killed? I'm thinking so :-(
