Maurice Benard Renews General Hospital Contract. Tuesday, December 04 2012

Sticking around.

On Twitter, "GH" star Maurice Benard (Sonny) assured his fans that he wouldn't be leaving Port Charles any time soon.

I just signed my contract for General Hospital. It makes me feel good that I'm not leaving my family.

Benard has been with the series since 1993. He won a Daytime Emmy for the role in 2003.
