    On Twitter, "GH" star Maurice Benard (Sonny) assured his fans that he wouldn't be leaving Port Charles any time soon.




    Benard has been with the series since 1993. He won a Daytime Emmy for the role in 2003.

    Could care less he one of the least favorite characters on the show. As long as the mob doesn't remain the primary focus of the show like it has been through out the month of November then weather MB sticks around or doesn't I could care less.

    Love it!!! Yeah! And I completely disagree with the above post that it has been all mob related for November. Not with Sonny it hasn't, its been about Kate/Connie. And Jason leaving. Duke/Faison is about Anna, not Sonny. So glad that MB is staying and so glad the snoozefest of Jasam is over. Ratings are up, up, up! Bring back Nikolas Cassadine!!!
