    Saying goodbye.

    Jen Lilley, who has been playing the role of Maxie Jones since last year while Kirsten Storms was on leave, released this video message to fans confirming her departure and thanking everyone for their support.

    Lilley's final episode as Maxie will air on August 10.

    I hope she gets an amazing offer. I prefer hee over Storms. Its actually the first time I have liked Maxie. In my opinion, for Storms to be gone almost a year she gave the spot up and should not come back.

    I assume her illness hasn't been completly disclosed since I have the same thing she has and never needed such a very long recover time, but whatever. I hate seeing Maxie go back to being a idiot.

    I am sorry that u have to leave. You were good but you had to know it was only for a short period. I like Kirsten I was always her fan since days of my life. I know you will found something else because you are a good actress and good luck to you.

    I hope this leads you to huge roles. You did a great job and will be missed. Demi Moore was on GH and look at the great roles she has portrayed. Keep looking up. Good things will come you way. I wish you all the best.

    I am sorry to see you leave as Maxie. It is never easy to fill another actresses shoes in a role, but you have mastered Maxie and for the first time I have fallen in love with her character and am actually so sad to see her leave. You brought the heart and soul to her character and you will be missed.
