    "Nashville" will air on Wednesday nights at 10:00 PM on ABC. Check out the trailer and look for Jackson to pop up near the end.

    ABC has announced that it will be picking up the series "Nashville" starring "GH" alum Jonathan Jackson (ex-Lucky). The series will also feature fellow soap alum Hayden Panettiere (ex-Lizzie, "GL"). Look for it to join the Primetime schedule for the 2012-2013 season. It will begin production in Nashville soon.

    Jonathan Jackson (ex-Lucky) will soon be seen on the small screen again. According to Deadline, he has been cast in the pilot "Nashville," written by Callie Khouri ("Thelma & Louise").

    The ABC pilot is about the rising and fading stars on the Nashville music scene. Jackson will play a bad boy musician and aspiring songwriter.

    ABC was pleased with the ratings, (a 9. something). Pretty good tunein for it's first Wed. night national viewing, considering ABC Online gave a sneak peak at the entire show in the days leading up to the debut. Should be a winner, lots of great music/singing (my fave line: "thank God for auto-tune" Taylor Swift anyone ?;-)

    JJ's role was quite short on the first episode, I suppose due to having a lot of cast to introduce us to. Hope his role will expand over the weeks to come
