After learning Finola Hughes is returning to General Hospital as Anna, it wasn't too much of a stretch to think Tristan Rogers' Robert would be following. Now, that assumption has been confirmed by TVLine, who reported Rogers will begin airing on the ABC soap in mid-February for "the foreseeable future."
The actor followed the announcement up by tweeting, "TR as RXS will be back in 'GH' in PC." That translates to: "Tristan Rogers as Robert Xavier Scorpio will be back in 'General Hospital' in Port Charles."
Rogers has played Robert Scorpio on and off since 1981. He also played Hunter Jones on "The Bold and the Beautiful" in 1997 and most recently played Colin Atkinson this past year on "The Young and the Restless." The actor can also be seen on "The Bay" as Commissioner Lex Martin.
Although it's assumed, there's no official word on whether or not he is returning for Kimberly McCullough's exit as Robin. Regardless of what brings him back, what do you think about Robert's impending return?
