    Originally posed September 6:

Things looked pretty dicey last week for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) as he underwent surgery to remove a piece of AJ's (then played by Sean Kanan, Deacon, "The Young and the Restless") dashboard that was sucked up through his nose in the car accident many years ago. Since that incident changed him forever, no one knew what would become of Jason once he woke up from his latest surgery. Luckily for Sam (Kelly Monaco), it seems he's the same old Jason as the two continue planning their wedding and actually exchange vows.

While the happy couple finally gets married, they don't exactly go the traditional route, despite all the recent planning. It seems instead of a church, Jason and Sam get hitched in a Chinese restaurant. We're not sure how exactly that happens, but we have to wonder if it has anything to do with James Franco's upcoming return as Franco. Feel free to share your theories below.

While you're musing on the wedding and Franco's presence, you might also take a minute to ponder what the cryptic clues given to Soaps.com mean. While the teasers from ABC of what's to come came in fortune cookies to commemorate Jason and Sam's wedding, we don’t know for sure who they relate to. We'll share more in the upcoming weeks, but for now, here's the first fortune:

"Love is around the corner – right or left?"

Jason and Sam's wedding arc begins September 19 and culminates September 23. Make sure you tune in to see how it all goes down.

No, I won't be watching that hot mess, even with Franco as the wacko guest of honor.

It is laughable that GH figured that the only way they could rouse up interest in Jason and Sam's wedding was to have a big name there promising to stir things up.

"Watch Jason and Sam's wedding, cause Franco is going to be there" is all I been hearing and seeing for weeks.

So we go from Jason's boring accident, Sam's stiff and unemotional bedside begging, (wet eyes, no emotion)into Jason waking up the same after all the lying "Who will Jason be?" Promos moving up to Sam and Jason's Chinese wedding circus with Franco as the main act.

I am growing increasingly unimpressed with Garin Wolfs writing.

I am just going to be flat out honest here.
I really had hoped that Jason would have woken from his coma remembering that Sam had willingly participated in his son Jakes kidnapping, and that she had hired gunmen to attack Liz and children in the park and then told him she had did him a favor because his life is too dangerous for a family.
I had hoped that he just would plain, not want to marry her at all, but it looks like it is going to happen anyway and at a chinese restaurant of all places, which I guess that is supposed to be meaningful for them because all Sam ever eats is chinese food and the chinese food restaurant probably wanted to repay her for her patronage.

I am looking forward to them getting married...Too bad that Franco will be there to ruin it...Just once I would like to see a wedding come off without a hitch...

This storyline bores me - not a fan.

I would of like to see the old Kate back with Sonny, what happened to her. Otherwise I really think Sonny and Alexis still have a chemistry when they are acting together. Since the terrible writing with the Brenda and Sonny story line, I hope the writers could do better next time for Sonny.
