That is so sad about the fire chief and the others after having parents in nursing homes my heart goes out to the residents and the terror they must have felt

Ot. I have worried about the loss of innocence of out children.

Yesterday our 5th and 7th grade grand daughters school celebrated grand parents day. The 5th grade sang a song they sang at the capital on Kansas day. It was all 50 states and the capitals of each state what a neat way to learn the capitals. The 7th-12th sang a song they won a 1 on at contest

After the tragidy's of this week what a ray of sunshine to see all the gray hair and the sparkling faces of our precious grandchildren

4ever ~ I have watched several times. When I first had horses, there was no vet on the Island. Then my friend and mine's horses were attacked by dogs while we were riding. We had to get a vet from Tacoma to come and stitch them up. The Vet had friends that owned a feed business on the Island. He started coming on a weekly basis for a number of years. I learned many things from him on treating horses.

    OT -

Hi 4evergh - Thanks so much for the prayers for my kitty.

I have never watched "The Incredible Dr. Pol" - I'll put it on my "to watch" list.

Glad you had a great grandparents day with your granddaughters.

Anderson Cooper is in West, Texas and I just heard a wonderful interview that he did with a West paramedic, Bruce Reed. Mr. Reed was so humble and thanked people from all over the world who had contacted them about the explosion. He said that the first responders were all volunteers - that they didn't have to go in, but they did. Cooper asked him why and he said it's our job - when everyone is running away, we are running in. It brought tears to my eyes. Such amazing people!

Ot lovesdogs. That would be so cool to live on an island . I am glad we switched vets the one before charged outrageous fees and I did not think had compassion was all business . This new one is much more compassionet. I am familiar with tacoma and Seattle and have fished in puget sound with relatives that lived there. Beautiful area
