SPOILER TALK: From was there a coupon with your 2 post? Maybe they can play Werewolves of PC..WAAHOO! Also I read that Anna has Robert arrested...Fake Duke whisk Anna off to Europe and Robert has to try to save her...

Maja, we might as well have werewolves because we have a vampire...McBain or as some call him...McBat!

    Happy Monday Everyone,

Agent Theodore King? Clever, but he looks nothing like the Ted King that shows up when I look up that name. Both GH and OLTL must have excellent makeup artists. I find it interesting that Toe Moss supposedly left the CIA 9 years ago, just when Lorenzo popped up in PC. In any case, this will give Blaire, Tea, and Skye something to do for awhile - hopefully off camera, and keep Carly from jumping into a ill-fated "romance" with Todd. I just have one question - is Alice or Monica now going to become Lila Rae's primary caretaker?

Spinelli can do his best to stick to his choice, but in the end I have no doubt that he'll end up taking care of Maxi during her stint as the Falconeri gestational carrier, unless Dante gets his dad to assign Milo to her for the duration of the pregnancy. Speaking of unforeseen circumstances...Hels is back and very soon there could be a Spencer baby in play.

Wow, just as Anna is getting her instincts back, Robert is losing his??? After the mountain mix up, Anna's spy senses should be tingling. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't have missed the old fashioned drawing room scene between Hels and Robert for the chance to watch any other character (except Luke, Robert, and Hels), but I was a little disappointed that Robert would believe anything she told him about Duke. I still have to say that these two managed to throw so many great lines back and forth today I couldn't pick one to be the line of the day. Well maybe Robert's reminder of the Ice Princess weather machine. Here's hoping Robert will recover his senses and track the call Hels made to "Duke".

maja...Instead of a coupon all I got was "But wait there's more"

    ****************SPOILER TALK******************

I read the same SPOILER that Anna has Robert arrested and he is worried he will be unable to save her. I must have become part of the "newer generation" because I want answers now...

    OT

It’s been a minute since I posted. I haven’t watched a full episode for a month or so but have caught a few scenes here and there. I am not sure when I will get back in the swing of things. I am at the point where I am just reading recaps, and although things are exciting for the most part, I can’t for the life of me find the motivation to watch like I use to. Anyway, I want to stop by to say a big hello to you all. I’ve missed posting with you and reading all the comments.

I recently relocated from PA to NM and am still in the process of getting settled. Maybe when things are more stable and settled, I can get back to posting more regularly. Until then, happy posting and early holiday wishes to you all.

Only saw part of today, hate it when life gets in the way of my soap time. Anyway, line of the day for me was Robert saying to Helena -"far be it for me to interrupt a good revenge rant". Helena does go on. Had a feeling she was in on the Faison/Duke deception, wonder if Duke will panic and grab Anna.

They're being a bit silly w Ellie if you ask me. Most reasonable people would just accept that they can't be friends with their boyfriends ex, especially if she still loves him and wanted him back (like yesterday). But no, Ellie says Maxie's the only girl she's been close too, which I find hard to believe, but if so, would still be best to forget it. But then I suppose there'd be less angsty drama between these three in the future.

slades - You are so right. Robert and Anna will always have that spark. It seems that Anna showed a little chink in her armor by the expression she had on her face when the elevator door closed.

bayou - Interesting that Robert called "Prince Nicholas". That reminded me that there's a Cassadine baby already here who comes from a better bloodline (Cassadine/Quartermaine) - Prince Daniel.

    OT
Straight - Glad to hear from you. That's quite a relocation. I always thought I wanted to live in the land of enchantment, but it turns out that VA is where I belong. LOL

    **********spoiler talk**************

maja - Was that spoiler related to the scene last week when Olivia flashed on Lulu holding the stuffed animal Boo?

Posted by Scrimmage at Monday, December 03 2012 02:58 PM

I'll agree that today's show wasn't very exciting, but it was one of those episodes that set the stage for what's to come for several of the storylines. Like the appetizer before the entree.

Sladest38 – Great post, and good catch on the CIA agent having the same name as the actor who plays Alcazar / Tomas. Funny stuff. Obviously we're not going to see him, and I'm just wondering why Blair, Tea, and Skye would drop everything and chase after him. Blair should be furious that he humiliated like that. At least he didn't leave her at the altar, but it's almost as if he did. As for Tea, he's probably not even related to her, but was just using her brother's name for a cover ID. And why does Skye care? She wasn't so concerned about her daughter needing her father when she cut off Lorenzo's alarm system, and left a door unlocked so that Jason could come into their home and kill him, and then she cleaned him out and blew his family fortune! I doubt if he would be happy to see her again, under ANY circumstances.

Since Todd and Carly were already well on their way to couplehood, I wonder what this silly little sideshow is all about. Do you suppose that the point of all this is to free up Blair, so that instead of “settling” for Carly, Todd will actually have a choice, and will choose Carly over Blair?

Robert Scorpio and Helena were wonderful together. I had no idea that this was the first time they had ever met, so today's show did make a little history. I was laughing when Helena ridiculed Robert's recap of the story, especially since we all know that everything that Helena found so outlandish and impossible to believe was TRUE, at least according to these writers. I guess it's a good thing that they can laugh at themselves, but you'd think if they can see how stupid their own plots are, instead of making jokes about it, they would try to write better ones. I will give them credit for writing great dialog, though. That's where their real strength lies.

Helena's awareness of tacky American reality shows was both hilarious, and a little disturbing. She was at her manipulative best, playing on both Robert's massive ego, AND his insecurities to make him doubt not only what he believed to be true before he stepped foot in Wyndemere, but also to second guess himself, and his own motivations. Absolutely masterful! Raise your hand if you DIDN'T think that as soon as Robert left her alone, Helena would call Faison to warn him. Anyone? Anybody? Buehler?

One thing certainly doesn't bode well. Helena's favorite part of Robert's story was how he based his theory on a woman's “LSD induced psychic vision.” Realizing that that's what tipped Robert off, and what an advantage such an ability would be for anyone, especially herself, and knowing how fond she is of weird science, with her secret labs, test tubes, and super long needles, I wouldn't put it past Helena to kidnap Oblivia to run some “tests” and see if she couldn’t duplicate the process. Failing that, she might want to keep Oblivia around as her own personal seer. Even if Robert left out her name, it wouldn't be too hard for Hels to find out who it was that was recently treated at GH for an overdose of LSD. Maybe she'll grab Oblivia, and Robert will come to her rescue, resulting in a romance between the damsel in distress and her handsome hero.

What I don't get is why Helena would want to help Faison, and his “dutch boy haircut,” get laid? UGH!

Duke Lavatory (Faison) is really getting desperate. “Taking it slow” does not mean going away together for a weekend ski trip. I guess Anna could blame that on a guy being locked up for twenty years, but that still wouldn't make the prospect of him drooling all over her like a starving man stumbling into an all-you-can-eat buffet any more appealing. Plus, he sure has a lot of money to throw around for a bartender. Speaking of which, we actually spotted that rarest of species, a waitress at the Haunted Star! I guess Lulu must've hired her, because she wasn't very cute.

On the other hand, Lulu and Dante were kinda cute today, as they usually are when they're doing what they do best. It made me start to wonder if all this “squandering” they were doing is going to result in an unplanned, and unexpected baby. Surely they're using protection, and Lulu is back on the pill as per the appropriately named Dr. V's orders, but still... Of course one would think so, but then again, this is LULU we're talking about here. She also said she carefully considered all the pros and cons of this whole Maxie as a surrogate thing, and yet we see today that the idea that she might need to get their agreement with Maxie in writing never even crossed her tiny little mind. Does she also think that pre-nups are needlessly upsetting because divorce is so rare?

Maxie was enjoying watching Spinelli squirm a little too much at her convoluted announcement of her plans, and seeing her spy on SpinEllie made me see that Maxie really IS back. Leave it to her to find a sneaky way to make even the most selfless act work to her advantage. I'll bet she'll convince Lulu and Dante that the solution to the problem of having someone around to keep her on schedule would be to hire Spinelli as her pregnancy coach and Lamaze partner. SpinEllie should've moved into his office while they had the chance.

How's that roommate thing workin' out for you NOW, Damian?
