Fromthestart....I liked your perspective to Scrimmage's personal story.
Re..the "what if" that is an excellent way to think about it. I think we've all done this to some extent.

    OFF TOPIC:

Scrimmage, you are right about my misunderstanding your story. It is true that only those involved can really see the way it is, even if their vision is through rosy spectacles, and you were writing about accepting a child who is not your own. I have known many men who took in a step child or adoptee and loved them just as much as if they had been their biological children. One friend of mine married a woman with a downs syndrome child whose husband left her because he did not want to raise the boy. The stepfather cared for that boy for 40 years until his health gave out.

We ALL have a 'what if' moment. I know that if I had married my first real love, it would have been a disaster because of my insecure personality and feeling of inadequacy and it is for the best that I didn't. I held on to his photos for 45 years before putting them in the shredder one day after I found them when cleaning out. So yes, it took me almost a lifetime to let go.

I have known friends involved with married men who nobly claimed they wanted to wait until the children had grown up before they divorced. Ha. You know what happened there. After patiently being the other woman until they are well past their first youth, the lover never does divorce his wife, and they are on the shelf.

Lulu/Ronnie/Sam/Dante/John-Someone should revive the Lulu duct tape fund and give Ronnie some to shut Lulu up. When she turns up the TV and McBain confronts him about the noise, I thought that Ronnie was an idiot to not simply apologize for the noise and turn the TV off instead of being a jerk.

Now Sam is a hostage and she left a clue. Fortunately John is involved b/c Dante is just clueless. I do give Dante credit for realizing that yelling at Delores wasn't going to get him anywhere and simply state his case. I am sure he didn't impress John with his idea to call Jason. I for one am glad to see a situation resolved without Jason coming to the rescue.

Johnny/Starr/Sonny/Michael-Johnny is the worst mobster ever for letting Starr see where he keeps his gun. She heads over to Sonny who tries to reason with her. He shouldn't worry about her accidentally shooting him since she obviously wants to do it on purpose. To be candid, instead of shooting Sonny, she should continue her friendship with Michael. Since Michael has met her, he has been willing to disregard his father's wishes regarding their relationship.

Connie/Jason/Carly/Johnny-Carly gives Johnny a chance to explain after giving him a well deserved knee then goes over to Sonny. Considering she was married to the guy, she should realize that Sonny is way too self involved to notice anyone's state of mind besides his own.

Here's hoping that on Monday Johnny answers the door and Morgan, dressed in his uniform, backhands Johnny on behalf of Mom.

    Happy Saturday everyone!

GH Has been so good the last few episodes. So Batman & McEverywhere to the rescue. This I'd like to see. So Sam left matches as a clue. I totally thought she's leave the Cheetos. After watching yesterday's episode, now I know what Cheetos are. I want some!

Midas, my friend - stay tuned.

    Later GHers....

WOW! What a switch-Jason is otherwise preoccupied so John is taking his place. Good thing Defective Dante has got John with him. Solving this caper won't take the next month.

bean-I will revive the duct tape fund for Lulu. She doesn't know when to shut up and never has.

I think we need the National Enquirer to show up at the airport. They would certainly get an earful and could be the first to break the news. Maybe that woman was a plant.

I laughed out loud when Carly was wondering how Sonny could not know about this. Um, Carly, Sonny is not a rocket scientist!

Oh, come on. Sonny's goons-Max and Milo, as inept as they are- always do his work for him. Either them or Jason. I am not surprised he is doing nothing about that annoying little twit. All he would have to do is duck when Starr pulls that trigger. I don't think she could hit the broadside of a barn if she tried. Never fear, Michael will save dear old dad.
