    Johnny follows his father through town. Anthony thinks his son should have better things to do than follow him, like taking advantage of Sonny. Johnny assumes his father is already doing that. Anthony gives him the box of cupcakes he's carrying declaring he won't find anything. Anthony walks away and Johnny calls someone to tail his father. After hanging up, Johnny literally bumps into Abby. He shares his father's cupcakes with her and notes she's pretty wound up. The only other time he's seen her like that was when she auditioned to be a stripper at Vaughan's. Despite her not liking taking off her clothes, she loved the dancing. She admits it's a secret passion of hers. Johnny can relate.

    Skye steals money out of an ELQ safe, as Abby and Michael walk in the office. She tells them about Carly and Jason's car accident.

    Sonny sits in the hospital chapel. He recounts his past transgressions and how he regrets that he's hurt his children. Michael and Abby find Sonny, who tells him he's persona non grata around there right now. He fills them in on Jax's crash and how Carly doesn't want him around. He asks Abby for a minute alone with Michael. She leaves, but listens at the doorway, as Sonny fills in the blanks for his son. Michael stands by his father believing that Jax was out of control and had to be stopped. Michael knows Sonny had to take action and states he will straighten it out with Carly. He turns to leave and sees Abby at the door. Privately, Abby questions Michael on how he can support his father who basically admitted killing Jax. Michael defends Sonny, but Abby thinks he's in denial. Michael walks away in a huff. Sonny finds Abby crying. She tells him if he keeps doing this it will destroy Michael.

    Michael follows a crying Abby back to their room on the island. She tells him she overheard some women talking about her. They assumed she was a hooker Sonny paid to be with him. After Abby expresses how upset she is about it, Michael leaves to straighten things out. When Michael returns, he tells Abby anyone who disparages her will be fired, but he thinks she needs to stop worrying about what people think about her. She doesn’t want him to act like his father and again suggests he explore all of his options. He in turn wants her to see herself for the beautiful person she is. She doesn't feel beautiful. Later, Michael sets up a dinner for them and apologizes for being an ass. They talk about heading back to Port Charles, but he hasn't made up his mind about returning to ELQ though. He vows to take her advice and explore his opportunities and have fun.

    After a midnight swim in the ocean, Abby tells Michael she felt like they were the only two people in the world. He promises she is all he'll ever need. He then invites her to Sonny's casino, and gives her a gift, a beautiful dress for her to wear. Abby is annoyed that he keeps bringing up Sonny and trying to seduce her just like his dad. Abby insists she could be happy sitting on her couch eating popcorn with him. He just wants her to have a good time, but she believes he is trying to be Sonny and it scares her. She angrily says, "If I wanted to be treated like eye candy, I'd still be stripping." A disappointed Michael replies, "I'm sorry I took you off the pole." Abby doesn't want him to spend his life being Sonny or rebelling against Jax. He isn't sure. She decides to put the dress on after all and thanks Michael. He tells her she is beautiful and they kiss.

    Michael and Abby have breakfast on the island. Michael wants to make plans to spend the day there, but Abby is worried about work. Michael tells her it's taken care of. Abby wants to keep her job, but Michael assures her she has a job as long as he is there. She thinks it's just a game to him and worries what happens when he leaves. She has to keep the job even if she loses him. Michael tells her he loves her and declares he's not going anywhere. She worries that she has to work hard at her job because it's her only shot right now. However, she agrees to stay a bit longer since ELQ would be closed by the time they got home anyway.

    Michael and Abby head to the island looking for Sonny, but have no luck. Michael just wants to help his father, but Abby suggests he give him some space. Michael tells her she doesn't know his dad and what this can do to him. She worries he really just wanted to come down there to show his dad he can be trusted to run things if he needs him. As they discuss the issue, the casino manager stops by. Enrique tells him he's heard that Sonny is back in Port Charles and asks if Michael and Abby are staying for dinner.

    Michael sits in Sonny's office chair as he searches for clues of his father's whereabouts. Abby walks in and says, "Don't you look right at home." She admits she's scared he still wants to get into the mob. Michael wonders what he's supposed to do since ELQ isn't exactly a good fit. She wants him to have fun and asks about a time when that happened for him. Michael recalls when he and Kristina ran off to Mexico. He felt free. She tells him he doesn't have to go anywhere to feel free. Abby brings Michael out to the restaurant and tries to dance with him. When he doesn't want to Abby grabs his arm pleading with him, but Michael snaps, "I said no!" He apologizes for his reaction. He loves watching her dance because it's her thing. It's just not who he is. She thinks it could be.

    Anthony shows up with flowers for Abby at ELQ. She asks him to leave, as Michael finds them. Anthony tells Michael he has legitimate funds he wishes to invest in ELQ. Tracy walks up and tells him they aren't interested. Asher joins the conversation as Anthony hints he has knowledge of an ELQ secret deal. Later, Tracy rails at Michael and Abby for bringing the mob element around. She accuses them of discussing the deal outside the company and wants Michael to leave before he ruins the company and breaks Edward's heart.

    Asher runs into Tracy at ELQ and tells her that Michael is working there. Tracy finds Michael kissing Abby in his office and erupts at him. Michael goes head to head with his great aunt. Edward enters and sides with Michael and Abby. He goes so far as to say they have a young genius on their hands when it comes to Michael. When Tracy makes disparaging remarks about Abby, Michael announces he will leave if it continues. Edward orders Tracy to put a stop to it because he won't lose his last remaining heir. Later, Tracy comes to Michael to tell him she knows he's in over his head and that he has no interest in ELQ. She urges him to quit before he does any real damage to the company. After Michael has left, Edward finds Tracy in the office. She tells him Anthony Zacchara wants to invest in their company. Edward thinks he must be off his medication. Tracy points out that hiring Michael sends out the message that they tolerate crime families. Once alone in Michael's office, Tracy snoops around until Monica walks in and catches her. She was hoping to visit with Michael to see how he was doing there. The women become catty with each other over their respective families until Tracy blurts out that Jake was Jason's son. Tracy tears up as she expresses her condolences. Monica can't believe she didn’t see it before and wonders why no one told her. Tracy points out they wanted to protect Jake from Jason's enemies. Tracy knows she was the wrong person to tell her this. Monica is just grateful she did. Tracy talks about Luke being gone and not knowing if he is dead or alive. She knows Monica doesn't care about that though. Monica doesn’t care about much right now. Monica recalls a time when she saw Jake with Elizabeth and cries as she leaves.
