Ethan takes the kids to the lake house. Molly holds out hope Brenda is alive, but Morgan is convinced no one could have survived that explosion. She cries as Kristina consoles her.
As the kids continue to worry at the lake house, Ethan suggests they play cards to pass the time. Molly declares she will never read a romance novel again because Brenda died for love and it was awful, not romantic. Cards are scrapped, as Ethan tries to make Molly feel better and give her hope about love.
Alexis walks in her house and finds the kids playing cards with Ethan. She tries to console them, as Molly blames herself for not telling everyone about Theo. Alexis is confused, but Molly explains that Theo is the Balkan.
As they dance, Brenda tells her husband she will never be known as Brenda Barrett again. She is now officially Brenda Corinthos. Sonny is happy to say they are husband and wife and he kisses his bride. Out in the corridor, Molly and Morgan interrupt Michael as he is about to kiss Abby. Meanwhile, Tracy tells Luke he needs to stop Dante from working his way back into Lulu's life. Luke doesn’t want to get involved, but says he already gave his daughter his advice on love. On the dance floor, Patrick dances with Carly, who notes he's pining over Robin. She admits she's bad at the happy, love thing, but wishes him luck. At a nearby table, Brook Lynn questions Nikolas on his issues with Sonny. Nikolas won't go into their past, but he says he made a promise to his mother to be civil. He mentions he told Laura about her. Brook wonders what he said. Nikolas relayed to Laura that Brook works for him and he holds her in high regard. Michael brings Abby inside the reception and introduces her to Edward, who is taken by her. He wonders how the two became acquainted and Molly jumps in asking Edward to dance. Carly walks over to her son and Abby and says she's glad Sonny invited her. Morgan asks his mother to dance, as Michael kisses Abby on the cheek. Robin clinks her glass to get the room's attention and makes a speech, wishing Sonny and Brenda a lifetime of happiness. Michael, Morgan, Molly and Kristina all speak as well and express their happiness for the couple and welcome Brenda to the family. Sonny is next. He tells the kids how much he loves them. He also says Brenda makes his life complete and he can't wait to spend the rest of his life with her. The Corinthos' cut the cake and when it's time to toss the bouquet, Abby asks Michael to walk her home. She says her goodbyes to Sonny and Brenda, who are happy she came. Brenda tosses her bouquet and Kristina catches it, but Sonny tells her she can't get married for a few decades. Ethan sits with Kristina and notes how far she's come in regards to her father. She credits therapy and Ethan for helping her. He thinks she's a special young lady and asks her to dance. As they do, Kristina declares she will marry him someday. Ethan just laughs. Dante returns to the reception and congratulates the happy couple. Brenda and Sonny make their exit, as their guests throw flower pedals and wish them well. Sonny puts Brenda in the limo, which then explodes.
The wedding processional starts with Molly walking straight into her Uncle Sonny’s arms. Next, Kristina takes her turn down the aisle. Robin says her goodbyes to Brenda and then heads enters the sanctuary. Jason asks Brenda if she’s positive about marrying Sonny and then they go inside. Brenda and Sonny only have eyes for each other as she inches her way towards him. Morgan stands, does a reading about the gift of family and welcomes Brenda to the family. The ceremony continues without a hitch and when the ‘speak now or forever hold your peace’ part comes around Brenda notices that Carly has opened her purse. Very quietly, Brenda murmurs to Sonny that she is very sorry and that she is going to have to object.
Theo is in his office talking to Suzanne about their plans to celebrate after Brenda finally pays for killing their son. He doesn’t even notice when Molly slips out from beneath his desk and out the door.
Carly finds Luke at Kelly's and tells him she didn’t get a chance to issue her ultimatum to Brenda, so if she has to drop the bomb in the middle of the wedding, so be it. Luke warns her of Sonny's wrath, but Carly thinks she has the truth on her side. Carly leaves and Ethan enters to cover for Luke so he can go to Sonny's wedding. Shawn walks in for coffee, as do Kristina and Molly. Kristina worries about her hair and tells her sister she wants to look sophisticated. She goes to talk to Ethan as Molly chats with Shawn about the wedding. Kristina tells Ethan it would be fun if he could go to the wedding and he leaves his father in a lurch to go change for the event.
Molly walks into Theo's office, but hides when he walks in the room. She hears him on the phone talking about how sweet it will be to finally reveal himself to Brenda as the Balkan and avenge his son's death.
Robin joins the girls as they prepare for the wedding at the penthouse. Brenda shows them her rings and explains the meaning behind them. Molly thinks it's all so romantic, as Carly is next to stop by. She asks to talk to Brenda in private, but Robin tells Carly to go away and shuts the door in her face.
As Jason invites Sam out for dinner at the penthouse, Molly stops by. She gives Jason a new and improved list of romantic activities for him on Valentine's Day. Jason says he's got it covered and Molly thinks that's real progress. Molly leaves to help another couple in dire need of romantic assistance. Jason follows with Sam's surprise in hand.
