GH Recap: Don't Say I Didn't Warn You.

    Wednesday, November 20 2013

Kiki stops Michael at the court house to pick up a heads-up penny for him. Monica joins them as AJ is brought out in shackles. AJ's grateful for the support but one person is missing, Elizabeth. Outside the court room, Sonny confronts Scott with Olivia on his arm. He believes he's in Julian's pocket and doesn't want him to lose AJ's trial. Scott warns him for threatening him. Diane points out that Scott has a lot to lose when she shows up. They follow Elizabeth in who doesn't have a chance to talk to AJ. Opening arguments begin with Scott certain that the jury will find AJ a cold-blooded killer. Diane claims there is a miscarriage of justice and the real murderer is still out there. Sonny's first on the stand. He recounts the night AJ choked and threatened Connie before explaining how he found her the night she died. He confirms he found 'AJ' drawn in Connie's blood. On cross examination, Diane suggests Sonny had motive to write 'AJ' himself but Sonny denies it. Scott calls Elizabeth next who didn't see AJ strangling Carly at Sonny's but did hear him threaten her there and later, when he told her "if he had a gun he'd kill her." Olivia yells at Elizabeth for not saying anything and AJ hangs his head down as Elizabeth leaves. Olivia's called to the stand to authenticate security footage from the Metro Court of the night Connie was murdered.

At the court house, everyone speculates why the judge called them back so soon. Ellie rushes in and sits behind Spinelli. Lulu pulls her hand away when Dante tries to hold it. Maxie worries when the judge recognizes that the Falconeri's have been raising the child as their own but soon Lulu is crushed. The baby is not Lulu's child and perjury is a serious offense. Lulu screams, she's sorry she lied and begs him not to take her child away. The judge's decision has been made and he throws down the gavel as Lulu runs out of the court room alone. Dante thanks Alexis, and then runs out before the judge continues. Maxie asks when she will get Connie but the judge isn't awarding her custody either. While Diane calms Maxie, the judge awards Connie to Spinelli. Maxie asks Spinelli to do something. He stands up and admits the judge's ruling is unfair and asks if Maxie can see the baby. The judge won't allow visitation for six months and requests Maxie to think about the damage she has done. Maxie's stunned.

In the court room, Diane asks Dante if Lulu's lying. He pretends the question is unclear. Diane reminds him he's an officer of the law and the judge asks him to respond truthfully. Dante responds, "Yes, she lied." He elaborates that Lulu didn't mean it. There was no plan. Diane gets Dante to admit he talked her out of running with Connie. Dante returns to Lulu's side and apologizes for not having a choice. Lulu claims he did, he just didn't choose them. Nearby, Spinelli worries about Lulu. Maxie and Diane don't care; it's a gift that Lulu lied. Diane's ready to close but Spinelli wants to take the stand. He addresses Dante and Lulu. Spinelli can't believe it has come to this. They are friends...family…all hurting each other. He affirms to Diane he does want to raise his child. After, Diane and Alexis give their closing statements. The judge breaks. Lulu pulls away from Dante to rush out of the court room while Diane invites Alexis for a drink. She's not interested. Maxie's family believes things will work in Maxie's favor. At the courthouse, Diane accuses Lulu of twice being a murderer. Dante can't believe it. Mac and Felicia realize Diane is as mean as Alexis. Felicia asks about Robert and Anna and Mac whispers back that there's no sign of them before Lulu confirms knowing Logan Hayes. She claims his death was self-defense so Diane asks how she justified killing someone who posed no threat – her unborn child. Lulu yells to Maxie, "How could you?" She addresses her decision to have an abortion. She wasn't ready to be a parent then, but she is now. Sonny asks Alexis to do something. Diane changes direction and asks Lulu about her decision to flee the country with Connie. Lulu denies making that claim and says, "Maxie's lying." Ellie's surprised as Maxie whispers that Lulu's lying. During a break, Maxie tells her parents that Lulu brought Dante in on the plan. Nearby, Dante argues with Lulu about perjuring herself. The break ends and Diane calls Dante to the stand. She recounts Lulu's testimony and asks Dante if Lulu is telling the truth.

Felicia jumps up and asks Lulu, "How could you?" Dante wants Lulu to tell Alexis to back off. The judge restores order and asks Maxie if she was responsible and she confirms she was which causes Spinelli to scream out in her defense. Maxie confesses to the judge what happened that night after Matt called her a bad person for getting Elizabeth fired. Robin wouldn't go to a party with her and Maxie stormed out breaking a gas nozzle which caused the explosion. She stares at Lulu as she regrets not being able to tell Robin how sorry she was. On cross, Diane asks Maxie if she intentionally killed Robin. She answers no and the judge calls a break. The courtroom clears, Dante shrugs Lulu off him and tells her to stay. She finds herself alone with Maxie. Maxie asks how she could use Robin's death against her. Lulu's mad that Maxie has hurt her, just like she hurt Robin. Outside, Sonny asks how Dante's holding up. He wants to keep his daughter but he doesn't want to do it like this. Sonny advises he needs to. When everyone returns Dante and the lawyers separate Maxie and Lulu from their argument. Alone, Maxie decides it's time to go after Lulu. On the stand, Lulu agrees with Alexis that Robin's death was an accident, and that Maxie has a lot of accidents. She questions if Connie could die because of her carelessness while Dante hangs his head down. Nearby, Ellie joins Spinelli. On cross, Diane points out that the only one in the custody battle who is a murderer is Lulu.

In the courtroom, Felicia hugs Maxie for Mac while he's busy tracking down Robert and Anna. Maxie's doing her best to not look like an unfit mother but is really scared. Diane and Alexis come in and Spinelli joins Maxie. The Falconeri's arrive, followed by Sonny and Olivia. Alexis confirms to the judge she's there to show Maxie is an unfit mother. Elizabeth takes the stand. She's not Maxie's friend and shares how Maxie had an affair with Lucky, supported his drug habit, and faked a pregnancy and miscarriage. Maxie apologizes to Spinelli. During the break, Dante's sorry Maxie had to hear that. Alexis asks how far they want to push this. Lulu's ready to go all the way but Dante has reservations. Nearby, Maxie worries who they will call next. The judge restarts the proceedings and Alexis calls Maxie to the stand. Chaos.

    Friday, November 08 2013

At the Jerome Gallery, the crowd is stunned when Heather turns her striped painting on its side and chastises the so-called art lovers for not recognizing it is a B.L.T. She grabs a cheese-knife and warns the crowd to stay away when Silas approaches. Morgan hears Kiki ask Michael to be careful. Heather thinks Silas would know a B.L.T. if he kept his promise and delivered one once a week after she gave her DNA for Danny. Heather warns no one will forget about her anymore as she rushes around to right the striped sandwiches that were hung wrong. Max proudly identifies one as Diane begs Franco to admit this is a performance piece. Carly stares at Franco, stunned, while Scott asks Lucy who let Heather out. Derek receives a text and shares with Morgan that Lazaro dropped out of the race. Alexis arrives. Nearby, Derek gloats that he struck a major blow against Sonny. All he needs is a D.A. in his pocket. He has one in mind and looks over at Scott. Meanwhile, Diane's angry that Franco failed to tell her that Heather painted his art. Heather joins them with Sebastian following. She thought Franco understood the paintings. Sebastian's confused by Heather interpreting Franco's work. Diane touts Heather as Franco's number one fan, the only one who could interpret the art of Kelly's sandwich menu. Carly looks on the scene sadly and Franco tells Diane to stop. He admits Heather painted them and thinks he lost his talent after losing his brain tumor. Franco apologizes and Heather forgives him. Ava's upset as he confesses he'd give up his creativity if he could be the man Carly wants him to be. She turns to Morgan who let Olivia get to him and asks if he's having second thoughts about working with Julian and her. Morgan isn't. Nearby, Kiki sympathizes with Franco while Michael thinks Morgan's acting out to stick it to Sonny. The police arrive and Scott has them arrest Heather. He indicates that Lazaro has conceded and promises to clean up Port Charles. He wants Franco arrested too but Heather won't let him. She announces Franco's his son. Franco doesn't believe her but Carly wants to hear the proof and know who Franco's mother is if he's not Jason's brother. Heather confesses she is. Scott tries to make sense of it and Heather reminds him of their first time when they were drunk, after a B.L.T. at Kelly's. Lucy accuses her of lying and Heather produces a birth certificate and a DNA test but there's still doubt. Heather looks to Franco and asks why else she would want to protect him from Carly? Max is done carrying a flame for Diane when she defends Franco. Diane asks to see Max later – she misses him. Alexis thinks the certificate is legit and Silas thinks the DNA test is as well. Sam asks what's wrong with her and yells, "Screw you for ruining my life." The police take Heather away as she professes her love for Franco and yells warnings to Carly. Ava advises Derek to leave amidst the chaos before someone kills him. Derek claims Sonny can't kill him…he has a guardian angel.

Back at the gallery, Sam and Silas leave to check on Danny. Diane plans to do some damage control but Sebastian tells Franco he's done. Carly asks Franco if he's okay and he leaves. At the bar, Scott thinks Heather might be telling the truth and his son turned out like her. He thinks his career is over but Lucy won't let this destroy her third favorite ex-husband. Lucy thanks Morgan for helping Scott win and wishes him luck with his dad. Nearby, Michael tells Kiki something's up with Morgan while Ava's on Morgan's arm at the bar promising to make him forget about everyone when they get back home. Later, Ava sees guests out and thinks the party's over. Sonny appears and announces the party is just getting started.
