    GH Recap: Rolling Over.

    Tuesday, April 15 2014

From ELQ, Luke calls Julian at the gallery for an update on their shipment. Tracy peers in at Luke. He gets off the phone and makes excuses. She's annoyed that he's claimed an office without her approval. Tracy says they need boundaries and ELQ is her sanctuary. He wants to prove he's committed to her and the company. She caves and he announces he's going to fetch her painting... so they can replace that photo of Edward on the wall. Once he's gone, Tracy tells her father's portrait that Luke isn't the person he used to be and he really loves her... in his quirky way. Ned pops up. They talk about all the family funerals and how hard all of this is on Monica. When she explains that she's marrying Luke and he's working at ELQ, Ned thinks she's gone crazy. She thinks he should be happy but he thinks Luke is after her money. Ned just can't see any good in 'that man' and is sure she knows Luke will never be a stand up guy. "You can hear grandfather rolling over in his grave," he says, begging her not to make a big mistake.

Luke returns to ELQ. Ned is still there with his mom. Luke hopes he is giving them his blessing. "As soon as you sign a pre-nup," Ned says.

AJ goes by MetroCourt to let Carly know he told Michael that she tried to get him to drink. Ned listens in as she calls AJ out for trying to make her look bad when he was the one making out with Sonny’s girlfriend. AJ wants Carly’s help getting Tracy out at ELQ to save Michael from getting involved in an SEC investigation. He tells her about his visit with Heather and wonders if there is another heir. Carly refuses to tell him anything. Ned emerges after AJ leaves and asks Carly what she knows. She refuses to say anything. He encourages her to call him when she changes her mind, which she will.

Tracy meets with Ned at ELQ and bares some fangs. They are a business ploy to keep Lucy crazy. Ned is glad she called because if this is the best she has their chances are non-existent. Lucy is crazy, not stupid. Tracy is concerned AJ is not as incompetent as they think and can’t afford to dismiss him. Ned has another idea – let AJ take over and step aside. Why fight for a company that has given her grief over the year? She thinks she deserves it a hell of a lot more than Pickle-Lila relish. She tells Ned to get on board or step aside. He agrees and demands to know if there is anything else out there that can hurt her. She assures him, then calls Sonny for help crushing AJ.

    Baby Mama Here We Come.

At the Quartermaine estate Tracy tells Ned how the relish sales rebuilt ELQ. Ned thinks there is a message but Tracy can’t figure out what it might be. AJ is probably plotting a takeover of her CEO seat as they speak. They work the numbers of family allies and only come up with 41 percent stock shares. That leaves Sam with Jason’s 12 and Daniel’s 6. They need to get to Sam. Tracy can count on Ned to rally the troops to her side. Later, Ned has figured out why Edward left the relish. They put it on hot dogs and marvel at its deliciousness. And Monica can’t have any.

    Wallow In Bliss.

The Q’s gather at the family mausoleum where they start bickering. Michael arrives with Tracy and demands they stop fighting. AJ asks to say a few words. He promises to become the man he should have been and make Edward proud. They all head to the mansion to meet with Diane about the will. Diane starts with the grandchildren, much to Tracy’s dismay. Skye, Jason, Ned and Dillon all get 12 percent stock shared in ELQ. Since AJ is alive, he gets 12 percent too, making that 60 percent and the majority. Alice arrives to serve lunch and Diane moves it along. The great-grandchildren each get 6 percent, making another 30. Five percent then goes to Monica and the rest to a woman who has taken care of him his final days – Alice! All of the cash holdings are divided equally – 50 percent to Habitat for Humanity and the other to PBS. There is nothing else and Monica suggests they all go enjoy lunch. Tracy stays with Diane and grabs the will. There is not one mention of her. Diane pulls out a box – there was one more thing. It is a jar of Pickle-Lila relish.

    So That Just Happened.

At the family mausoleum Tracy tells Alan that Edward is gone. How will she do this alone? Ned approaches and hugs Tracy. He can’t believe Edward is gone. She thinks back on her wedding to Luke and Edward’s approval. Ned tells her they’ll survive because they are Q’s. He leaves to go to the house and she stays behind. At the house Monica and AJ reminisce about Edward as condolences pour into the mansion. Alice interrupts – she can’t find Tracy. AJ doesn’t want to even have the big dinner, but Monica does not want to fight Tracy about it. Alice asks Monica to help her with the new scary cook and alone, AJ thinks back on his time with Edward and ELQ. The bell rings and AJ is excited to see Skye arrive. She is shocked he is alive. She is trying to be a good mother and AJ wants to try to be a good dad to Michael. Syke introduces her daughter Lila Ray to her grandma Monica. She is glad Skye is there. Ned walks in and is not happy to see AJ and encourages Lila Ray to escape. Skye and Lila Ray visit the mausoleum and Tracy is not happy to see her. Skye tells her blood does not make a family, love does. Back at the house AJ offers his hand for a truce but Ned is not having it. He apologizes to Monica for not being there more. She just wishes they could all get along. Tracy walks in and accuses AJ of killing Edward. Monica assures her she was the last one to see Edward alive. Ned stands up for Tracy but Monica snipes back. Alice comes in and asks if Skye is staying for Thanksgiving, but Tracy says absolutely not. A fight breaks out. Later, Heather breaks into the mansion and starts going through Edward’s desk. She finds his will and looks it over. She carelessly replaces it but Skye catches her before she leaves. Heather pulls a knife on Skye and tells her no one is going anywhere. Meanwhile, Michael arrives and screams for the Q’s to stop fighting. Aren’t they there for Edward? Elsewhere Skye screams and Heather bids the Q’s gobble gobble as she backs out of the house. Alice knocks out Heather from behind much to AJ’s amusement. It’s a traditional Q Thanksgiving after all! Steve and Olivia arrive as Heather is being hauled back to Ferncliff. Later, they all reminisce about their happy Thanksgiving memories from the past and toast to Edward. They realize the dinner has been ruined after Heather’s scuffle. The bell rings and Alice answers it. There are dozens of pizzas delivered despite the pizza parlor being closed. The ghost of Edward looks on as the Q’s sing fist as usual. The ghosts of Edward and Lila go off together as they renew their commitment to each other.

The funeral has ended and everyone is filtering out of the church. Sam watches as Lucky compliments Liz on her speech. Then, they agree to stop fighting even though Lucky says that he doesn't know if he'll ever be able to forgive her lie about Jake. Nik finds the entire Q family and thanks them. They tell him that he is the one who made Emily's dreams come true. Nik leaves and Edward asks if they are supposed to just go home and start over without her? Ned says that should try to stop bickering at least. Monica says that they should go home, in that case, and be gracious for Emily. Lucky tries to hop in the car with Nikolas - so he won't have to go back to Wyndemere alone, but Nik says he wants to be alone and screeches off.

    (Un)Happy Thanksgiving.

    Wednesday, November 21 2007

Ned has arrived at the Q mansion and is hugging Edward. He walks his grandfather over to the sofa so they can sit down and talk. Edward says that he feels broken inside over the loss of Emily. Monica walks into the room and calmly tells Ned that that they only seem to see him at holidays and funerals and today he gets to kill two birds with one stone. Ned and Edward sit quietly and let her ramble. She says that she should've cleared her calendar and been at the ball herself to celebrate the endowment for Alan. Then Dillon arrives and says all the right things to Monica. She tells him that she's glad to see him, but can't say anything meaningful right now. She says that if she would've spent her daughter's last few hours with her maybe she could've made a difference. Ned points out that Anthony Zacchara is a madman who couldn't be stopped. Monica points out that he is a mobster, just as her son is.
