Be Careful What You Wish For.

Patrick explains more tests need to be run and Sonny says no expense is too great. Johnny can’t believe Sonny is throwing his money around and Patrick and Kelly leave the room. Johnny thinks Sonny should leave too, but Claudia wants her husband to stay with her.

As Johnny and Claudia imagine her in a gliding rocking chair with her baby, Sonny comes in and says he’d like to imagine it as well. Johnny wonders how he keeps himself from choking on all that hypocrisy. Patrick, Kelly and Robin come back and say Claudia needs a drug which will be dangerous for the baby and could cause her to miscarry. Claudia says she won’t take it.

Who Caused Claudia’s Accident?

Sonny goes to the hospital to talk to Kelly who tells him he is the father of Claudia’s baby. He’s still doubtful, so she gives him the results of the second test done at an outside lab, which confirm he’s the father. Epiphany tells them that Claudia was in an accident and is on the way to the ER.

Sonny watches as Claudia is wheeled in and Patrick and Kelly go with her to a cubicle. Carly follows and catches Sonny up on what she witnessed.

As Sonny tries to soothe Claudia, Johnny runs into the cubicle and Kelly and Patrick follow. The doctors tell Claudia tests indicate the baby could have sustained injuries. Claudia gets upset and then yells out in pain. Patrick adds there could be a life threatening head trauma and Johnny wonders if that means Claudia and the baby could die.

Headed For Disaster.

Kelly tells Claudia Sonny is the father of her baby and that there are no problems with her son. Kelly gets paged away, but leaves Claudia with a copy of the results. Once alone, Claudia tells her baby she loves him and will never let anyone hurt him. Johnny comes in and Claudia tells her brother her good news. She thinks she will finally get everything she wants, but Johnny thinks this will give her an easy way out of the marriage. Claudia thinks she’s safe and in the clear now, so she doesn't have to leave Sonny. Johnny wonders if she really wants to give up the hope of ever finding a guy who will love her, but Claudia is more focused on the power she’ll gain giving birth to a Corinthos heir. She says power trumps love, but Johnny points out that Sonny doesn’t even care about her. Claudia is just happy that she will get unconditional love from her son and looks forward to returning that love. Claudia plans to tell Sonny face to face about the test results and Johnny leaves.

Things Take a Serious Turn For Kristina.

Kelly prepares Claudia for the amnio and then performs the test. Afterwards, Kelly says she will put a rush on the test results and Sonny wants to make sure there are no errors with the test. Kelly has sent the test to a secondary lab so nothing goes wrong. Kelly leaves and Claudia can’t believe he was so caring one minute and so callous the next. Sonny explains he just wants to make sure the miracle she’s carrying is his.

Kelly gets the test results and Claudia says Sonny had to leave, but she can’t wait any longer.

Kate’s Back!

Sonny comes to the hospital as Kelly does an ultrasound on Claudia to confirm the position of the baby. Claudia holds her hand out and Sonny grabs it, while they look at the baby on the monitor.

It Happens.

As Kelly performs an ultrasound on Claudia and her baby, she finds a heartbeat, but warns Claudia she’s high risk because she is under a lot of stress.
