Your Civic Duty.

Sam sees Téa with her baby outside her hospital room. Her baby, a boy too, did not make it and Téa is devastated for her. Sam asks if she can hold the baby, but before she can, Alexis walks up and takes Sam back in her room. Dr. Lee is there with news about the cause of death. There were no signs of the condition that was present before, but now the baby had hemophilia, a condition usually passed down through the mother. Plus, he died of respiratory failure. Sam is convinced that her son is still alive. Dr. Lee did not mean to get her hopes up, but if he was in the hospital he might have had a chance. John knocks on the door and Sam asks Alexis to leave. She wants to know why he did not come back for them. He tells her he ran into some trouble. A nurse comes in with food for Sam and suggests John take care of himself too. He leaves and the nurse tells Sam had been beaten. Jason comes back and she wants to ask him a question. He needs to tell her something first. That night, he was coming to promise to love her son as his father.

Good Luck With That.

In the hospital, Sam stares at the dragon and thinks of Jason. Dr. Lee enters and Sam tells her Alexis will be her labor partner and that Jason is unsure he can love the baby. Lee thinks maybe Jason needs more time. She assures Sam Alexis and Molly will be great partners. Then she sees something in Sam's chart. The baby's iron level is low and they need to test the baby for a disease when he is born but assures her she is on track to have a healthy baby. She wants Sam to have fun at the childbirth class tonight.

Sonny's Trial Begins.

Jason finds Sam at the hospital and asks who the guy was Liz saw her with and if she already had her checkup. Dr. Lee walks up and covers for Sam when Jason brings up her appointment. She says she can see them now. In the exam room, Kelly tells Jason she needs to see Sam alone. Jason leaves and Sam gives Kelly Franco's DNA to test against her baby. Kelly agrees to put a rush on the test and will give her the results in 24 hours. Jason returns for Sam's sonogram. Kelly asks if they want to know the sex of the baby. Sam lets Jason decide. He wants it to be a surprise. Jason leaves for Sonny's trial and Sam worries how devastated Jason will be if Franco is her baby's father.

It's Ours.

Kelly tells Jason and Sam at home the baby looks healthy. They ask about the paternity and Kelly says the baby shares genetic markers with Jason. Sam tears up as Jason breathes a sigh of relief. They embrace as Sam says, "It's ours." Kelly congratulates them and then offers to tell them the sex of their baby. Jason leaves it up to Sam, who doesn't want to know. All that matters is that Jason is the father. After Kelly leaves, Sam runs into Jason's arms. He tells her she never has to think of that night ever again because the baby is theirs. Sam beams as she puts Jason's hand on her stomach. Sam thinks they should be preparing for the baby, but Jason just wants to sit there with her.

The Number One Topic Of Conversation.

At the penthouse, Sam tells Jason that waiting until tomorrow for the paternity results will be excruciating for her. Jason holds her as she expresses her fears over the pregnancy. Jason suggests they take it one step at a time and they will deal with the results when they get them. Sam gets a call from Kelly, who stops by with the results.

You're Still A Zacchara.

Sam and Jason meet with Kelly in regards to a paternity test. She tells them it's an invasive procedure, which could cause a miscarriage. Jason tells Sam it's up to her. Sam needs to know and wants the test. Elizabeth finds Jason waiting for Sam near the hub. He tells her he's having tests done. Sam returns with Kelly, who says they should have the results in a week to ten days. Liz curiously looks on.

Happy Wedding Day.

After Elizabeth "sees" Jake again at the hospital in front of Lulu, she opens up to her former sister-in-law. Lulu listens and is sympathetic to her grief. Lulu assures her she always considers her family and urges her to call if she needs anything. Lulu leaves and Kelly finds Elizabeth. After some conversation about Jake, Kelly asks Elizabeth for her schedule. Elizabeth pulls it up and discovers Kelly has a fertility procedure scheduled for Sam.

Don't Let Fear Get In The Way.

Sam meets with Kelly at the hospital to find out if she is a good candidate for the fertility procedure.

No One Can Predict The Future.

Sam meets with Kelly at the hospital and learns after the procedure she could only have a fifty percent chance of carrying to term.

Show Some Respect.

After talking to Dr. Lee at the hospital, Sam returns to the penthouse and searches the Internet about the fertility procedure. Jason returns home and tells Sam Jerry is not the Balkan and that Abby was arrested for solicitation. As they discuss Michael's relationship with Abby, Carly stops by to urgently discuss the same thing.
