When no one answers the phone, Carly tells her front desk guy that someone was playing a trick on her, that's all. Soon Jerry comes back through the lobby and she forces him admit that he's lost track of Jax and is worried about him.
Unconditional Love.
At the Metro Court, Carly softly tells Jerry that now that he has helped with Jason's case, she owes him a big thank you. Before Jerry can reply, Lulu arrives and says that she needs to talk to Carly. Jerry says that Lulu couldn't have come to a better person. "My brother's wife can look past people's mistakes," he says. After he's left, Lulu tells Carly that she hurt Spinelli by accident. She explains that she is starting to like Logan, in spite of Spinelli's warnings. Carly affectionately adjusts Lulu's hair and asks if she thinks Spinelli is a good judge of character. Lulu says yes, and Carly says that Lulu should follow her own instincts. And, if she's wrong about Logan, a true friend will help her anyway. Hopefully, that's what Spinelli would do, Carly says. She tells Lulu that a woman needs to feel passion and love, and she also needs unconditional acceptance. Lulu says that it sounds like Carly just described her relationships Sonny and Jason, so how does Jax fit in? Carly says that her husband looks at her like she's the only person in the world. "I know that look," Lulu smiles. "I'm seeing it right now." Carly turns around to see that Spinelli has entered the Metro Court lobby and is looking right at Lulu. She turns to Lulu and says that she needs to hold onto Spinelli at all cost.
Jerry at the Metro Court ordering someone on the phone to keep looking for his brother! Carly finds him and says now that they are getting along -- so when is he bringing Jax home? Jerry tries to stall and then she says, "You have no idea where Jax is, do you?" Before Jerry can answer, there's a phone call for Carly. She rushes to the phone and Irina informs her that she just slept with her husband.
Poor Spinelli.
In the courtroom, Jerry and Carly are let into the courtroom as Ric starts to protest Diane's ability to enter new evidence. The judge allows Diane to speak and she moves that all charges be dropped in light of the new proof that Lorenzo is alive. Jason looks back at Carly and she gives him a "high five" look of victory. The judge asks for a recess so that he and the attorneys can talk. Carly tells Jason that dinner's on her and Jason's furious with her for going away with Jerry Jacks!
As Jason is being cuffed and transported back to lockup, Diane thanks Jerry for his part in uncovering the new evidence. He tells her he happens to know that Mr. Alcazar will be transferring money from his Singapore accounts at any moment. Jason is taken away, but not before Carly tearfully forces him to admit that even though he's mad at her, he still loves her.
Jerry Comes Through!
In South America, Jerry completes an email and tells Carly that their work is done. He explains that there will be reasonable doubt as to Alcazar's death now -- for Diane to find. Carly says that she wanted to hand deliver the evidence to the courtroom! He tells her to trust him once and for all.
Skye Takes The Stand
Jerry tells Carly they need to go to a bank today. She refuses, thinking they are going to steal Lorenzo's money. Jerry explains that there is another reason to go to the bank - to find out if Alcazar has been moving money around while he's been in hiding. They return from the bank, unable to access the accounts. Carly vents her anger on Jerry, telling him they haven't proven anything. The bank manager comes to the hotel with questions of his own! He asks how they got the password and Carly tell him that Alcazar gave her the password because he is in hiding. The bank manager doesn't believe them and won't until he can speak with Alcazar personally. Jerry pulls out a cell phone, makes a call and tells the bank manager to talk to Alcazar right now!
Carly Impresses Jerry.
Carly is cleaning up after her "procedure" on Jerry when shooters come into their room. In spite of great pain to himself, Jerry is able to push Carly to the ground behind the bed so that the shooter can't see her. He yells to stop shooting and then stands up. The shooter tells Jerry that he has been asking way too many questions about Lorenzo Alcazar and he needs to come with him. Carly stands up too, and demands to know where he is taking them. Quickly, Jerry spies a ballpoint pen on the ground and is able to react quickly and jam it into the shooter's neck -- killing him. "Where did you learn to do that?" Carly asks. Jerry wants to run out to find a place to dump the body, but Carly wants to call the cops.
When the Venezuelan cops arrive in Jerry's room, Carly tells them that she and her bodyguard where attacked by the dead man. When asked, she names Lorenzo Alcazar as the man who would like to hurt her. She plays the vulnerable woman very well as she explains that she came down here to see if Lorenzo was truly still alive and she saw him! She surmises that is why the gunman must've come to find her. The cop says that her bodyguard clearly acted in self defense and there will be no charges filed. What's more, they will check all of the Alcazar properties for her. After they leave, Jerry applauds Carly's performance.
Carly has put Jerry down on the bed to repair his wound yet again. He tells her that she'll need a real body guard now that they have created the illusion that Alcazar is alive.
