    After Sonny gives Max and Milo their orders in his office, Max warns him if they take out Johnny, Anthony will retaliate. Sonny is confident he can neutralize Anthony and questions Max's loyalty. Max makes it clear he's on Sonny's side and Sonny orders him to kill Johnny by the end of the week.

    Kate goes to Jake's and orders a martini from Coleman, bemoaning how needy her employees are. Colman makes her feel better with a kiss, as Diane joins a drunk Max at table. Max confesses to Diane that Michael wanted a hooker for his 18th birthday, but he was never able to do it because of his DUI and then Franco. Now he's in prison, never having had sex and it's his fault. Diane wants to make him feel better, but Max isn't in the mood. She notes he hasn't been in the mood since Michael was sent to prison. Max declares he can't be romantic with her until Michael is released, so Diane angrily orders a bottle of vodka. Olivia storms into the place and demands Johnny stop provoking Sonny. She won't watch him get killed and walks out. Brook walks in and sits with Johnny, taking jabs at Olivia's age and flirts with him. Matt and Maxie walk into the bar and when challenged, she kisses him.

    As Sonny, Max and Milo threaten Johnny on the street, Olivia runs up. Sonny and Johnny want her to leave, but Olivia stands her ground and pleads with Sonny to stop this. Sonny mocks Johnny for hiding behind a woman and Johnny taunts him about Jason being locked up with Michael. Olivia lashes out at them, as they continue to fight. She warns them to stop or else she will call 911 and walks away. Sonny tells Johnny he's out of his league, but Johnny thinks Sonny's time is running out and it's his time now.

    In Sonny's house, Claire agrees to work with Sonny to get Johnny. He wonders off handedly if she's trying to double cross him saying he's a bigger 'get' than Johnny. He thinks she could be humoring him to get what she really wants, so she asks why he called the meeting then. He says he has to trust her because of Michael. He goes into how much he loves his kids and Claire agrees to work with him, but warns him to stop all the father of the year crap. After Claire leaves, Sonny tells Max about his deal with Claire, but Max doesn't think it's wise to trust her. Sonny thinks he got to her, but there's only one way to find out.

    Milo and Max track Johnny down with their car and then Sonny comes out to say he's about to make him beg for mercy.

    Sonny draws his gun on Johnny in his living room as they argue about Johnny stealing one of his allies. They exchange threats, as Ethan comes in with Claire, as instructed by Johnny. Johnny tells her he wants to report an attempted murder – his. Sonny orders Max to get everyone out but Claire doesn't go anywhere. She exchanges heated words with Sonny and he leaves to visit his son in prison.

    Jax goes to the Metro Court bar and sits with Skye after ordering the strongest drink possible. He tells Skye the outcome of the sentencing and wonders how Michael will survive two years of hard time. She encourages him to step up for Michael, as well as Morgan, because Carly can't do it alone. Across the way, Diane finds Max sitting at a table and breaks it to him that Michael is going to prison. Diane berates herself for defending Sonny for the money. Max tells her it's her job to defend her clients, but she knew he wasn't guilty, but she went along with it because it was the first selfless thing she's seen Sonny do. She thought she could be redeemed along with him, but it was all a lie. The truth is, some things are beyond redemption.

    Jason and Sam rush to Michael's new location, but he's nowhere to be found. They talk with an employee and learn Max and Milo are in jail and Jason instructs him to talk to the rest of the staff to find out who saw Michael leave. Once free, Max and Milo join Jason and Sam and then the hotel employee returns to say Michael left with a man matching Dante's description.

    Max and Milo enjoy their time on the island, as Michael secretly calls Kristina to ask what's happening in the outside world. Kristina tells him about her attack and he wants to come home, but she tells him she has all the support she needs. In fact, it's like her experience isn't hers anymore. Michael tells her to hang in there and that he loves her. He hangs up and tells Max and Milo he needs to go home, but Carly walks in and says he can't go back. Max and Milo leave and Carly fills Michael in on what happened to Kristina. Michael thinks Kiefer beat Kristina up, not Ethan and wants to go home, but Carly tells him he can't do that. Michael is tired of letting the innocent pay, while the guilty go free, but Carly tells him Kristina has to handle this her way, but the truth will eventually come out. She wants him to stay there so both he and Sonny will be free to be with the people who love them. Michael agrees not to go anywhere.
