    Sonny draws his gun on Johnny in his living room as they argue about Johnny stealing one of his allies. They exchange threats, as Ethan comes in with Claire, as instructed by Johnny. Johnny tells her he wants to report an attempted murder – his. Sonny orders Max to get everyone out but Claire doesn't go anywhere. She exchanges heated words with Sonny and he leaves to visit his son in prison.

    Jax goes to the Metro Court bar and sits with Skye after ordering the strongest drink possible. He tells Skye the outcome of the sentencing and wonders how Michael will survive two years of hard time. She encourages him to step up for Michael, as well as Morgan, because Carly can't do it alone. Across the way, Diane finds Max sitting at a table and breaks it to him that Michael is going to prison. Diane berates herself for defending Sonny for the money. Max tells her it's her job to defend her clients, but she knew he wasn't guilty, but she went along with it because it was the first selfless thing she's seen Sonny do. She thought she could be redeemed along with him, but it was all a lie. The truth is, some things are beyond redemption.

    Jason and Sam rush to Michael's new location, but he's nowhere to be found. They talk with an employee and learn Max and Milo are in jail and Jason instructs him to talk to the rest of the staff to find out who saw Michael leave. Once free, Max and Milo join Jason and Sam and then the hotel employee returns to say Michael left with a man matching Dante's description.

    Max stops Michael from leaving the house on the island, but Michael tries to reason with him about how Sonny can't go to prison. Max understands, but tells him he has to wait it out.

    Max and Milo enjoy their time on the island, as Michael secretly calls Kristina to ask what's happening in the outside world. Kristina tells him about her attack and he wants to come home, but she tells him she has all the support she needs. In fact, it's like her experience isn't hers anymore. Michael tells her to hang in there and that he loves her. He hangs up and tells Max and Milo he needs to go home, but Carly walks in and says he can't go back. Max and Milo leave and Carly fills Michael in on what happened to Kristina. Michael thinks Kiefer beat Kristina up, not Ethan and wants to go home, but Carly tells him he can't do that. Michael is tired of letting the innocent pay, while the guilty go free, but Carly tells him Kristina has to handle this her way, but the truth will eventually come out. She wants him to stay there so both he and Sonny will be free to be with the people who love them. Michael agrees not to go anywhere.

    Dante goes to the island and finds Max and Milo, as Michael hides. Dante thinks he hears Michael, but finds Lola, who works there instead. Dante knows Michael is there and wants Sonny's guards to tell him where he is. Michael listens as Dante and the Giambetti brothers debate whether or not Michael should return to testify. After Dante has left, Michael and Max talk about the trial. Max knows Diane will get Sonny out of this mess and then they can go home.

    While Michael and Milo are distracted by the ladies on the island, Michael tries to make a break for it, but Bernie stops him. He ushers the women out and tells them Jason sent him down there to make sure he didn't try and escape. He orders Michael to stay on the island until the trial is over.

    On the island, Max and Milo play shuffleboard and ask Michael to join him. Michael passes and bemoans the fact he can't be at the trial. Michael goes to order room service and two attractive women bring it up to welcome his bodyguards to the island, per Michael's request. Max and Milo get friendly with the ladies and Michael slips out.

    On the island, Michael assumes Jason and Sam will be heading back to Port Charles soon, hoping for some privacy, but they let him know they aren't in any hurry. Michael says he's going off for a swim, but in reality makes a break for it. Sam and Jason get cozy with each other and Sam wishes they could stay there and not worry about Sonny or the trial. She also wishes he could be this happy and relaxed all the time. They start to kiss but then Sam worries that Michael has been gone too long. Jason goes to find Michael who was on the speedboat trying to get back to the mainland so he could confess. They debate the issue until Michael relents and says he will stay there and sit on his hands while his father cleans up his mess. Jason says they started the mess in the first place so they need to fix it. Jason and Sam plan to head back to Port Charles because Diane called worried about Claire getting suspicious. Sam makes Jason promise they will come back there. They say goodbye to Michael and leave, with the keys to the speedboat, but Michael calls to reserve another boat. He starts to head out, but finds Max and Milo waiting outside the door, who say, "Aloha."

    On the pier, Max and Milo question Ethan, as Johnny sneaks off. The brothers order Ethan out of the area and then Max checks the scene.
