At the ball Frisco asks Felicia to marry him and presents a ring. He gives her the mic hoping she's about to say yes as Mac and Maxie watch. As guests look on she tells him she loves him but she meant to tell him weeks ago that the man of her heart is Mac. Outside the ballroom Mac tells Felicia he's ecstatic and professes his love hoping Felicia is in for the long haul. She asks if forever is long enough and wants him to propose. He does and she accepts with a kiss. Maxie runs after Frisco. He says there's nothing left for him in Port Charles. Maxie reminds him she's there. She's wants to be a reason he stays and is grateful for his help keeping her secret from the crazy doctor. He tells her he'll be in touch and leaves. Ellie is around the corner listening. She's interrupted at the elevators and turns to find Maxie crying. Ellie asks Maxie if it is more than hormones.
Britt watches a live feed of the Nurses' Ball in another room. She's upset to see Sabrina with Patrick thinking Sabrina won. Dr. Obrecht says it's an illusion, they will show him what his real family looks like. She's disgusted at the proposal halting the events and speculates what will happen when they drop their bombshell after all their planning. Britt reminds her it is all her mother's planning for revenge. Dr. Obrecht grabs Britt's face and tells her weakness is unbecoming. She orders Britt to get dressed because soon all of Port Charles will be talking about her and the surprise they've unleashed. Her mother reminds her of being rejected by Patrick and asks if she is on board. Britt says "Let's do this."
At the Metro Court Patrick tells Sabrina she looks beautiful. Sabrina's unsure about her makeover and says it's still her underneath. Patrick confesses his feelings and that he was sidelined by Milo. She confirms her feelings haven't changed. He apologizes for taking so long to do this and kisses her. Patrick hopes her happiness means he didn't lose her to Milo. Sabrina decides to smooth things over with Milo and accepts an invitation to be Patrick's date for the Ball.
Downstairs guests arrive on the red carpet. Felicia calls for Mac to join her and Frisco for a picture. Maxie sees Spinelli arrive with Ellie. Duke is followed by Anna and Emma. Anna gives a heartfelt interview about the benefit in Robin's honor. The announcer asks Carly if she's back with Sonny and for comments on Jax and Brenda's engagement. Carly doubts a wedding will happen or if they will show up tonight. Brenda shows up alone. The announcer asks where Jax is. Brenda apologizes he couldn't make it. Michael, Bobbie and Olivia are photographed followed by AJ and Elizabeth, Monica and Tracy, and Alexis and Shawn with Molly and Sam in tow. Anton escorts Epiphany in and tells Sam it's not too late to dance with him tonight. The announcer wonders where Patrick and Noah are. Felix escorts Lucy in last and worries about Sabrina.
Inside the ballroom, Mac catches Frisco swapping seating cards. Felicia comes by and Frisco asks if she wants filet mignon or cold fish referring to her men. Nearby Noah gets reacquainted with Bobbie. He's pleased she's not with Scotty. Anna catches him and they reminisce over Eli Love. Alexis asks Sonny about his choice for a date. Carly approaches Brenda presenting the signed divorce papers. Carly asks about Jax. Brenda tells Carly to go to hell and confirms the wedding is off because of her. Sonny and Shawn come over to break up the argument. An announcement comes on and everyone takes their seats. Carly, Sonny and the Giambetti brothers are seated with Brenda. Emma asks Patrick, "What's that on your collar?" when he arrives to his seat late. Noah's knows Patrick got his girl.
Anton dresses backstage as Felix offers to fill in as his partner but Samantha arrives up to the challenge. They dance to "Jumptown Saturday Night." Emma is happy when Mac and Mr. Marbles follow. Off-color jokes aimed at Frisco not supporting his family incenses Frisco, Felicia and Maxie. He closes his act telling Felicia no matter what she decides he loves her. Felicia asks what just happened and Maxie tells her Mac decided to fight back.
Emma tells Sabrina she looks like a princess and invites her to sit with them. The next table over Monica asks Michael what is going on between Carly and Brenda. Liz can't believe they can't get along for one night like Monica and Tracy. Tracy steps out for air and Monica follows to make sure she's not going off to poison AJ's food. Frisco is announced as the next singer and performs "All I Need." Spin and Ellie kiss. AJ, Patrick, Duke and Alexis gaze on their dates. Maxie and Mac notice Felicia crying. Frisco closes his dedication with a proposal of marriage to Felicia.
Backstage in her dressing room Lucy hears a sound while looking for her next dress. She opens a door and looks surprised.
At Patrick’s, Emma is excited about her duet with Sabrina and can’t wait to get dressed. Emma tells Patrick all about Felix, Milo and Sabrina. He tells Emma to finish her carrots and calls Sabrina. He gets her voicemail. The doorbell rings and he thinks she’s there to pick up Emma. Patrick opens the door and Noah Drake gives him a hug. He’s there for the Ball since Robin was important to him. Sabrina gets Emma, chats with Noah who she met on Skype while babysitting, and leaves. Noah tells Patrick they are so lucky to have Sabrina. Patrick talks about the miscommunications between the two of them. The two Dr. Drakes discuss love and Noah tells Patrick to go get Sabrina.
In the Ballroom Mac arrives with Mr. Marbles and entertains Duke. Duke thinks Felicia will be entertained. Mac thinks Frisco won’t be. He confides in Duke that Felicia has to choose. He thinks Duke has a better chance with Anna then he has with Felicia. Kevin interrupts Lucy from previewing her dresses with a jealous Felix and Sabrina. Lucy’s excited until he breaks the news he won’t be at the Ball because a patient needs him. Lucy’s worried about bombing. Kevin doesn’t believe she’ll fail. Before he leaves he interrupts Duke and Mac and asks them to look after her. Rehearsals begin and Mac struggles with his act, but Lucy struggles with it more. While completing tasks, Sabrina asks Felix if messages can delete themselves and tells him about her missing messages. They relocate Lucy’s dresses and Sabrina sees a new message from Patrick asking her to pick Emma up. Felix tells her he has a plan when she seems down that it wasn’t more than that.
Anna talks to Frisco as Felicia, Maxie and Olivia get ready in her room. Olivia worries about lack of info on Dante and Lulu. Felicia and Maxie think the best they can do is think positive and dedicate their time to the success of the Nurses’ Ball for Robin. Anna asks Felicia privately what’s bothering her. Felicia tells Anna she has to choose between Mac and Frisco. Bobbie arrives with Felix close behind. Sabrina shows with Emma. She doesn’t want a makeover but Felix talks her into trusting him. Anna sees her without her glasses and compliments her. Sabrina tells Felix to do it. All the ladies leave and Felix says Sabrina will meet them down there. Patrick walks in and doesn’t recognize Sabrina when he comes looking for Emma.
Felicia brings Maxie food at the apartment. Maxie can’t eat from worry. Felicia explains Frisco is helping to find Lulu. Maxie confesses her dad wants Felicia back. Felicia knows and recounts how Mac punched Frisco. Mac’s mad at Felicia and only speaks to her through Mr. Marbles. Maxie confronts her about sending mixed signals and wants to know who Felicia wants. Felicia says she has to talk to Mac about this and leaves. Spinelli arrives needing someone to talk to about having a future without a child of his own.
Mac plays ventriloquist with Mr. Marbles at the Floating Rib to practice for the Nurses’ Ball. Frisco arrives mad about being sucker-punched. Mac tells him an apology is all he is going to get. Frisco talks about family and Maxie’s baby. Mac tells Frisco she is just a surrogate and he can’t use that baby to get Felicia back. Mac wonders how low Frisco can go after using his kids all the time to manipulate Felicia. Frisco punches Mac and confesses his love for Felicia. He thanks Mac for being good to his family and tells him to let Felicia go. They are arguing about what Felicia wants when she arrives. Mac tells her to tell Frisco she doesn’t return his feelings. She says she cannot do that, she loves them both. Mac tells her to choose.
In Anna's office, Felicia avoids Mac's call and tells Anna she's a coward. She explains her trip down memory lane with Frisco. Anna understands. Felicia shows her a wedding photo of her and Frisco. She's sad she wasn't a priority and it's too late. Anna shares her wedding photo with Duke and tells Felicia about their date at the Metro Court. She explains it's over for them. Felicia says it's over for her and Frisco. They both turn their wedding photos upside-down.
Duke orders dinner at the Floating Rib and asks Mac about Felicia. Mac tells him Felicia's been lying and Frisco is up to something. He imagines the worst. Duke says Felicia is mad about him. Mac thinks that was until Frisco showed up and stirred up old memories. Duke doesn't think he should worry; all Anna and him have are just memories. He tells Mac about their last dinner together that went sour and maybe what they had was just too long ago. Mac says Anna is using her badge to hide from her feelings. Duke pays and leaves. Felicia arrives and confesses to Mac about her dinner with Frisco and his intentions. Mac asks how she feels about it. Frisco arrives before she answers. Mac punches him and Felicia rushes to his side.
At the apartment Michael asks Starr why she has to leave. Starr wasn’t told why, she just needs to go right away. Todd arrives, asking, "How could you?" He rants about being dumped by Carly. Michael explains Carly to Todd. Starr lashes out about why people push Todd away. Todd asks if he finally pushed Starr away for good. He apologizes. She can’t listen to it and says she has to go. He sees the suitcase and asks where she’s going. She says LA. Michael insists on going but Todd decides to take her on his jet since he’s leaving for Llanview. Todd tells Michael he’ll never be back. Michael kisses Starr goodbye.
Carly and Sam toast a drink to the end of their relationships at the Floating Rib. They share what happened to each other with Todd and John. Sam tells Carly that Jason would want better than Todd for her. Carly tells Sam she should move on with John. Carly decides to note the day as a good day. They discuss finding men and leave, happy they ran into each other. Meanwhile, Lucy shows up with flowers and tells Kevin they are going to a wedding and he is the best man. She breaks the news in a whisper that it is for Scott Baldwin. Kevin would rather be bit by vampires. He wants out, she asks him to do it for her. Kevin drags Mac into the argument it but doesn’t get the advice he wants. He decides to do it and leaves with Lucy. Mac leaves a message for Felicia to discuss Frisco.
At the Rib, Felicia gets a text from Frisco, who is waiting for her. She grabs a seat at the bar and Kevin and Mac toast to her beauty. They talk about Lucy’s release from jail and expect her to reach out to Kevin soon. Mac thinks they have an unbreakable bond. Felicia gets another text and tells them she has to rush off to a meeting. When she is gone Mac tells Kevin she is lying and off to meet Frisco. He has been after Felicia since he came back to town and Mac worries she is falling for his act. Suddenly, Lucy arrives and apologizes to Kevin for leaving him on the ground outside Ferncliff. She is madly in love with him and if he takes her back she will never mention vampires again. He tells her to shut up and kiss him.
Mac and Felicia flirt at the Rib and she ignores a call from Frisco. Soon Duke comes in and chats with Felicia while Mac goes downstairs. He tells her he is working at ELQ but having problems with Tracy. Felicia feels sorry for Tracy and thinks AJ just took ELQ from her. Tracy has had to be abrasive to keep her place in the family and deserves more than she gets. Soon she expresses concerns about Frisco’s return. She is avoiding telling Mac that Frisco wants her back. She tried to make it work before, but at her family’s expense. Duke encourages her to tell Frisco it is over – unless it isn’t. Frisco arrives and asks Felicia if she got his message. Duke leaves to meet Tracy and Mac overhears Frisco tell Felicia to get dressed up and meet him for dinner.
