PATRICK DRAKE'S HISTORY
Robin sought Patrick's help when his father, Noah Drake admitted he couldn't perform the surgery needed to save Jason's life. Patrick initially refused to do the surgery because of his estranged relationship with Noah, but with Carly, Sam and Robin all pleading, he agreed to it. The surgery was a success, but it just made him even more cocky.
Robin tried to get information from Noah about the strained relationship between he and his son, but she only got a cryptic remark about how easy it was to fall into a bottle when your patient dies. She later discovered it was his wife, and Patrick's mother about whom he spoke.
Patrick and Robin flirted with one another openly, yet denied a romantic attraction, and he even went so far as to express an interest in Carly to raise Robin's dander. Eventually, beneath Robin's balcony, with a boom-box and flowers, he professed his love for her.
Although in love, Patrick was in no hurry to get married and have kids. Robin, on the other hand, wanted to be a mother so she broke up with Patrick and decided to find a sperm donor.
Patrick dated Leyla during this time, but remained in love with Robin. Patrick was there to console Robin when Georgie was murdered and they had sex. However, the topic of kids remained an issue and they went their separate ways.
Robin later discovered she was pregnant and after much drama they reconciled and married. Patrick also met his new half-brother Matt Hunter while this played out.
After the birth of their daughter Emma, Robin suffered from postpartum depression. Patrick remained by her side and encouraged her to seek help.
Once they were back on track, Patrick's ex-girlfriend Dr. Lisa Niles came to town. After months of flirtation and Patrick's feelings of insecurity about Robin's past with Sonny and Stone, Patrick slept with Lisa. Robin left him when she found out, but they banded together for the sake of their daughter when Lisa developed a fatal attraction. Robin eventually took Patrick back, but Lisa continued to terrorize them. After Lisa held them hostage at the hospital, she stabbed herself with a syringe meant for Robin and lapsed into a coma.
The Drakes' next challenge came when Robin was named chief-of-staff at the hospital. She decided to spread the surgeries around more fairly, which Patrick took offense to. He tried to support her as his wife, but they continued to butt heads. Patrick and Matt also came to blows over a few conflicting opinions on surgeries.
Robin eventually turned over the reins of Chief of Staff back to Monica and Lisa briefly returned (after Anthony resurrected her) to wreck havoc. However, after a boat party held for Matt, Lisa was found dead floating in the water.
Robin then learned her drug protocol for her HIV wasn't working and feared the worst. She asked Jason to help her leave town and Elizabeth to take her place in Patrick and Emma's life. Patrick got wind of what she was doing and convinced her to stick around. She started a new protocol, which worked and all was right with the world again.
Jason began have dizzy spells and headaches. Robin began working on a treatment for him in the lab. Maxie stopped by to vent about Matt and accidentally turned on a gas source. In Robin's absence, Patrick got trapped in the lab with the fumes and Robin saved him. However, she had to run back in for Jason's medication. The fumes got too bad and the doors automatically locked behind her. Patrick was forced to watch as the lab exploded with Robin inside.
Presumed dead, Patrick refused Sam's pleas to still help Jason, considering (in his mind) he was responsible for Robin's death.

Thursday, May 23 2013: Not Like You.
In the lab, Spinelli brings balloons to celebrate Ellie being appointed the new lab manager. Brad arrives and accepts the balloons announcing his promotion. Ellie states she's more qualified and he's incompetent. She storms out as Spinelli pops the balloons and follows. He wonders if she's being penalized for helping with the relish. Ellie scoffs at that believing she's being punished for keeping a secret. Spinelli thinks she's done nothing wrong keeping the secret about the miscarriage since no one got hurt. Ellie cries, confessing someone is getting hurt. Brad calls her back to work. Alone, Brad apologizes for getting promoted. She admits she's upset about lying to Spinelli. Meanwhile, Maxie finds Britt in the exam room in a wheelchair. Britt sends an email announcing the new lab manager and tells Maxie she needs a new doctor. Maxie's upset to learn Britt's moving in with Patrick. Britt wants her to be thankful she's still keeping her secret about Spinelli's baby. Maxie says she's more worried about Ellie than her. She hates how she made Ellie think she'd lose Spinelli if he knew about the baby. She informs Britt she's not like her anymore; doing anything to anyone to get the man she wants. Britt hopes Maxie's new doctor doesn't order any genetic testing or she'll be sunk. Later, Spinelli bumps into Maxie and wonders what she'll do if a new doctor learns her secret. He confesses Ellie told him about the miscarriage and new embryo being implanted. In the locker room, Patrick catches Sabrina disrobing. They kiss. His head's clear after surgery and he regrets planning on letting Britt move in. He comes to the conclusion that Britt cannot move in. Sabrina shares her idea. Britt wheels in ready to clean out her locker and go home with Patrick. They break the news that she's going home with Sabrina. She protests, but Patrick says unless there is another way, this is how it will be. It's all decided and Sabrina promises to take good care of her. Alone, Patrick and Sabrina kiss again.
Monday, May 13 2013: The Clash Of The Condiments.
Emma asks Patrick if there's a reason she's getting a treat at Kelly's. He explains she'll have a baby brother or sister. Emma isn't happy but Patrick makes her understand his responsibility to her and to the new baby. She asks him to have a baby with someone she likes the next time.
At GH, Sabrina apologizes to Britt who doesn't buy it. Patrick arrives and shares the discussion he had with Emma. Britt explains her condition deteriorated and she needs bed rest. Sabrina excuses herself to thank Felix for what he tried to do for her but understands he couldn't go through with it. Meanwhile, Britt tells Patrick she's losing her apartment. When Sabrina returns she learns that Patrick and Britt have settled on her moving into Patrick's place.
