Maxi comes into Kelly's to visit Georgie. Maxi picks up on the fact that something is bothering her sister, so she asks Georgie to talk to her. Georgie tells Maxi that Dillon was just there to see her. Georgie thinks that she and Dillon are growing apart, and Lulu has nothing to do with it. Maxi listens like the good sister she normally isn't!
At Kelly's, Dillon apologizes to Georgie for how distant he's been lately. Georgie would like to tell him it's okay, but it's not. She wishes they could go through a whole week without a misunderstanding. They agree to try to spend more time together, starting with tonight. She has to work, but he's going to help her bus tables. As they work Dillon gives her review of a movie he recently saw.
Maxi goes to Kelly's to look for Lucky, but denies it when Georgie sees her. Georgie suggests that Maxi get a job or something, then offers to create a resume for her. Maxi tells her that she's going to have a baby and Lucky is going to love her. Maxi asks Georgie why they are such different sisters. Georgie works hard, studies hard, and saves her money hard. Everyone is proud of her. Maxi wants to know why love isn't a good enough of a goal? She explains that she is working hard, too, to win Lucky's love. Maxi asks, “Why are you the A-1 overachiever, and I'm just Maxie the Skank.” Georgie tells her that she's not a skank. Maxi explains that is how everyone made her feel at Luke and Laura's wedding. She told her sister that her hopes were that Lucky would take her over to see Laura and treat her like someone he cares about, someone who is going to offer a Spencer child to their family.
At Kelly's, Professor Pete is reading Pride and Prejudice, but ends up in a good back and forth literary discussion about the heroine with Georgie. Soon, Dillon comes in and jumps all over Pete for spending so much time with his young, female students.
The feud over film making is still going on at Kelly's. Georgie attempts to get Dillon to calm down by explaining that the discussion she was having with Pete was about the film version of Pride and Prejudice. Pete insults Dillon by saying that a business major wouldn't understand the nuances involved. Dillon pulls out his film expertise with a verbal thesis on recent film adaptations of the book. Then, Dillon abruptly commands, “Stop trying to get into Georgie's pants.” George resents that he thinks she's naive and incapable of having a meaningful conversation. Pete excuses himself, but first he puts Dillon in his place by agreeing with Georgie.
Pete comes back into Kelly's to pick up the book he left behind. Georgie apologizes for Dillon. Pete tells her that Dillon was very insulting to her, not him. Georgie takes a moment to explain how Dillon used to be passionate about film, before his life changed. She goes on to tell Pete that Dillon used to be smart and quirky at the same time. She grows wistful as she wishes Pete would've met Dillon before. Pete tells her that she's the one who is smart and quirky and passionate now.
Lucky and Liz are within earshot of Maxi when Georgie comes out from the kitchen and asks how her little niece or nephew is doing. Maxi shies away from the attention to her belly, which prompts Georgie to ask her sister why she is so jittery? Maxi explains that when you're pregnant, everybody wants to touch your belly and she doesn't like that.
Maxi corners Liz at Kelly's and starts to get in her face about how they all need to get along for the children's sake, etc. Georgie interferes and tells her to lay off of Liz. Maxi, in turn, goes off on Georgie and tells her she should be worrying about her own situation with Dillon. Maxi fabricates that she was at Luke and Laura's wedding and the entire Spencer family wants Dillon to be with Lulu. Dillon walks in, overhears this and cuts Maxi off, saying that she's blatantly lying. Liz pipes up that the Spencers are not pushing Dillon with Lulu! Maxi cuts in and says that Georgie is living in a dream world. After they all disband, Dillon tells George that she is the one he loves. Georgie wonders if he's trying to convince himself.
Dillon explains to Georgie that he's mad at himself for making her upset all the time. He wants to make her happy. But he explains that he can't desert lulu right now. Georgie tells him that Lulu exists from crisis to crisis, why does he have to be the one to save her? His cell phone rings. It's Lulu. She tells him that she's skiing with a friend and not to worry. Dillon asks why Professor Pete was so worried about if she's just off skiing with her friends? She thanks him for worrying about her and tells him that she's calling her brothers too, so he doesn't have to. After they hang up, he tells Georgie that he feels like a jerk.
At the Metro Court, Georgie seeks Jax out to ask for his help in explaining hostile takeovers to Dillon for a school paper. He agrees to help; but wants to know why she's doing Dillon's research. Georgie explains that she's been hard on Dillon lately and wants to help with his project to make up for it. Jax finds some paperwork from a takeover that he completed a few years ago and gives it to her. Georgie is grateful, and then talks about how Dillon is continually drawn in by Lulu, “The drama queen of Port Charles”. Jax admits that the damsel in distress is hard to resist.
