At the Floating Rib, Jax and Alexis play pool. Jax tells Alexis Shawn better treat her right. They say they’ll miss each other if he leaves Port Charles. They leave to meet Carly and Shawn at Kelly's.
At Kelly’s Shawn is telling a surprised Carly about Alexis' wild side when Alexis and Jax walk in. Shawn joins Alexis and they leave Kelly's. Jax and Carly are emotional about the divorce and argue about Johnny's secrets. They admit it is hard to say goodbye. They hug. Outside, Alexis and Shawn admit there’s a lot they don’t know about each other.
Some Coincidence.
Sonny impatiently waits for Kristina at Alexis’ house. He refuses to say anything to Kristina about Trey’s parentage until Kate knows Trey is her son. Alexis agrees. Kristina arrives and Alexis hands over the annulment papers. Kristina refuses to sign because they have already consummated the marriage. Sonny’s face is frozen in horror. She knows all she needs to know about Trey so they can tear up the agreement. Sonny tells her it can still be annulled on the grounds of fraud. Kristina does not want to end it. Trey arrives and tells them how much he cares about Kristina. Sonny shakes his head and Alexis has to hold him back as Trey and Kristina go home. Alexis wonders if Trey is sincere but Sonny knows he and his dad are up to something.
Leopard Print And Cleavage.
At home. Alexis tells Sonny the annulment documents are almost ready, but he is not there for that. He tells her that Trey’s dad is Joe Scully. Alexis is shocked but he tells her the worst has yet to come. Kate got pregnant and left the baby behind. Alexis gets it – Trey is Kate’s son! Sonny thinks Kate does not know yet and this will shatter her. Alexis wonders if he is worried about Connie coming back. They agree to keep it quiet until after the wedding. Sonny gets the papers and wants to find Kristina to sign them now but neither of them know where she is. Kristina texts that she is on her way. Alexis is glad they have not consummated the marriage.
One Gangster For Another.
At Alexis’ house, Sonny demands Alexis and Kristina work on a quick annulment. He gets a call that the $88 million is missing and leaves to handle it. Later, Alexis wants Kristina to grow up as they prepare the annulment papers. She has to stop making irresponsible decisions. Sam shows up and tells them about the kiss. Jason has moved on and now she should too. She grabs the pen, signs the divorce papers and takes off her ring. It is over.
Intent On Revenge.
At Alexis’ house, Sonny demands to meet Trey’s dad after Kristina explains why she got married. Alexis arrives and Sam and Sonny encourage her to sit down. Kristina got married in Vegas to that scum Trey. Kristina wonders what the big deal is if she is getting it annulled. Sonny storms off to visit Trey and Kristina follows him. Meanwhile, Sam looks at her own wedding ring. Alexis pulls out Sam’s divorce papers. They just need her signature, unless she is having second thoughts. She tells Alexis about playing "what if" with Jason. She blames herself for the baby’s death. Patrick told them how the baby died and Alexis assures her it is no one’s fault. Outside, Kristina tells Sonny she thinks she would do something this crazy for him like Trey did for his dad.
Good Outweighs The Bad.
Alexis and Shawn make out by the dock until Jerry’s boat explodes. They run to the site searching for Sonny and Jax. John walks up and tells them the possibility of survivors is not looking good. Sonny pulls himself out of the water and tells them not to be so sure. John waits for the Coast Guard while Sonny goes to the hospital and Alexis and Shawn go to be with their families.
Sam gets to Alexis’ house. Molly starts to cry and they wonder where Alexis is. Sam tells Molly that she told Jason and John goodbye, in case that is what it is. Molly wonders who she will choose if they are saved. Sam knows who she would choose – but Alexis and Shawn suddenly arrive. Alexis explains that Jerry kidnapped her, but the nightmare may be over. TJ gets a text – the CDC has the antiserum! They are all celebrate and have someone to hug except Sam – until John walks in. He tells them they have not found Jax and Sam stops him before her leaves. They faced death together, they might as well welcome back life together as well. They step outside and hold hands as they are sprayed by the antiserum raining down from a helicopter.
You Feel Lucky?
Jerry leads Alexis onto a boat. They are riding off to their future so she should get comfy. She is sure Jax and Sonny will stop at nothing to rescue her but Jerry ties her up and tells her about the bomb. He will deactivate it using a remote once they are safely away. He drops into a coughing fit and she asks if he is sick. More than you know he tells her, but is anticipating a recovery soon. He leaves and Sonny and Shawn come in moments later. She assumes they diffused the bomb but they know nothing about it. Alexis panics - the bomb is still live! Shawn leaves with Alexis and Sonny stays, but soon falls to the ground from his illness.
Back at the warehouse, Alexis thanks Shawn for saving her life and they kiss passionately.
