    Here Comes the Bride. Really.

    Thursday, April 26 2007

At the Q's, Edward, Monica, Alice, Emily, Dillan and Ned are dressed for the wedding. Luke wants to know if the opera is in town. They tell him that his niece is getting married today! He says that his niece doesn't like him and he's had his share of weddings. Alice says that since Tracy is out of town, she could be his date. Luke says that would sweeten the pot, but still declines. Ned wonders if Skye will attend today and then Edward mentions that the war between Sonny and Lorenzo is looming. Luke bolts to attention and mentions something about the wedding being the perfect diversion. He takes off and says, "I've got a life to leave…"

Everyone is starting to gather in the ballroom. Monica is missing Alan. Robin and Nikolas "clink" champagne glasses. Emily tells Patrick that she knows the truth about Nikolas and Robin. Dillon, Milo and Spinelli are arguing over Lulu, and when she walks in they stop and stare. They start to fight over her again and she chooses to go hang out with her two other dates, Michael and Morgan. Ned finds Alexis and they laugh at the memory of the last time they were at a wedding together (she left him at the altar!). He asks her if she'll be his date and she hugs him and laughs. Jax is in another room looking out the window, not worried that Carly won't show, but wishing that his brother would.

Lulu goes to the coffee warehouse and Milo happily offers her a latte. She tells him that she's coming to tell him about Carly's wedding and before she can say more, Milo accepts her invitation to be her escort. He tells her that he's been taking ballroom dancing classes and gives her a sample whirl. Dillon comes in and asks why he isn't her date to Carly's wedding since he is sort of family. They start to argue and Lulu says that she'll go to the wedding with all of them or none at all.

Dillon is setting up very romantic, very French, setting for his date with Lulu. Georgie comes along and tells him that it's lovely and that she wishes him and Lulu well. Dillon explains that Lulu isn't looking for anything serious, but they are just going to "see". Dillon is nervous and Georgie tells him that it's okay. Even though they thought they would be together forever, they were just too young to know what forever means. They agree to be friends forever. Georgie recognizes the movie scene that Dillon is trying match with his props, then tells him that Lulu will love it.

Lulu arrives at the date location, in a white dress as Dillon has requested. He asks her to close her eye while he describes a lovely scene to her - a similar scene that inspired Picasso. She interrupts him and asks if they can just be themselves. She reminds him that she is more of a rock 'n roll and burgers gal. She says that the stage Dillon set is sweet, but it reminds her of what someone might do on their 25th anniversary. Dillon admits it's kind of corny, but is glad that she is with him. As they start to talk, they hear a motorcycle approach in the background, followed by a crash and then moaning. Lulu goes running and brings a ruffled Spinelli back to their table. He says that he was riding Jason's bike and brooding. "Since when do you brood?" Dillon asks. Lulu says that she will help Spinelli get Jason's bike back so that he won't get in trouble with Jason. She thanks Dillon for the sweet date and leaves with Spinelli. Dillon is angry and goes to find Milo to tell him how suspicious he is of Spinelli's coincidental bike accident.

At Jason's penthouse, Spinelli and Lulu are shocked to look up from their embrace to see a gun pointed at them. They angrily ask Dillon and Milo what they are doing! Dillon reminds Lulu that he is allowed at least 2 hours of uninterrupted conversation - according to the rules of their dating plan. Lulu angrily says that there were never any such dating rules. She slams out of the penthouse yelling, "I'm not going to date any of you…ever!"

Lulu is at the coffee shop alone, but not for long. Her posse arrives and tries to talk her back into their "dating plan". She tells them that the whole dating thing is proving to be more trouble that it's worth. She says that she doesn't want to lose her friendships with any of them. She says that her final offer is to remain friends or never talk to them again. Dillon says, "We're going to have to get back to you on that…gentlemen?" They guys stand up in unison and leave. After they have a discussion, they return and plead their case to Lulu. They apologize for making dating rules and then not keeping her in the loop. They ask for one date each and will stop fighting. After each date, she is to choose one, two or all of them for more dates. She agrees, as long as they all stay friends no matter who she chooses…and then says that she probably won't commit to any of them. She tells them they can start another day because for now she just needs some air.

Milo is at the coffee shop when Dillon comes in. He tells Milo that he's meeting Lulu for his "do-over date" and wants to know if he's seen her. Milo says that Spinelli shot out of Sonny's office and Lulu came out soon afterwards. They agree that Lulu and Spinelli are sneaking around and that they should go confront them. Milo cocks his gun and Dillon follows yelling "words and reason first, right Milo?"

    Sex, Lies and Red Tape.

Lulu and Dillon are supposed to be starting their date, but Lulu tells him that it feels too strange. Before she can explain more, they hear noise coming from upstairs. They rush up there and Dillon tries to break up the fight between Coop and Logan -- only he gets punched in the face instead. Logan and Coop continue to grapple, and Lulu whacks Logan in the head. Maxi has wrapped herself in a sheet and starts to complain about Lulu being nuts just like her mom. "Maxi, can you just go five minutes without being a witch?" Dillon asks. Before Maxi and Lulu can get into a fight, Coop kicks everyone out of his room.

Dillon and Lulu are downstairs at Kelly's again, and Dillon has a red cheek. He says they can still make the movie and that they deserve some fun. She says that their relationship is too far gone for "fun". She says that she had a huge crush on him last summer - or maybe it was love, but it seems too awkward now. He realizes that he is pushing, so he asks if they can keep that door open for some time in the future. Before he leaves, Lulu tells him "sure".
