    Spinelli cracks the case!

    Wednesday, January 03 2007

Lulu, Dillon and Spinelli have gone to the hospital to check out the computer. Dillon and Lulu are to create a diversion, but the person they have to divert is Epiphany. Not an easy task! Dillon calls Epiphany away from the desk and asks her if he can do a documentary about nurses and use her as an example. He tells her he wants to follow her 24/7. Lulu says she'll do the audio on the project. Epiphany notices that Spinelli is on her computer and threatens to call security.

Epiphany tells the Spinelli and crew to scram and reams them for lying to her. In the elevator Spinelli tells them that he got what they came for. He now has proof that Dillon's uncle Alan killed Rick Webber.

    Spinelli moves in on Alan.

Dillon and Georgie meet at the waterfront. She has a gift for him, but he gives all kinds of reasons why Christmas came and went without them getting together. He opens her gift and is thrilled to see that it's the Stanley Kubrick collection of films. Dillon wants to do a movie marathon together tonight. Georgie is guardedly excited about it, but Dillon's phone rings and it's Monica. She needs Dillon to meet her right away. Georgie tells him it's okay because she has to go work with Professor Pete anyway.

Dillon meets Monica at GH. She tells him that Lulu is missing her father, but she's clinging to the computer geek as some kind of substitute. Dillon agrees that perhaps Lulu needs to find something else to focus on.

Spinelli tells Lulu that Alan probably killed Rick Webber over the paternity of A.J. Lulu is dumbfounded over the history better Rick and the Quartermaines. Dillon concedes that Quartermane family lore corresponds that it was a pretty spirited war between Rick and Alan. Spinelli decides that if they make a movie of their investigation, he wants Leonardo di Caprio to play him. Dillon points out that the whole Alan, Monica, Rick thing happened years before they were born. Dillon presses to learn who might have had more recent motivation to kill Rick Webber.

The Holiday Pageant is perfect. Except for the ending.

Georgie, dressed as Mrs. Claus, sees elf Lulu helping Dillon with his Santa suit. Lulu and Dillon are talking about who else might have a motive to kill Rick Webber, and Monica is eavesdropping. Across the hall Alan, Tracy and Edward warmly greet Ned who has come for the hospital party. They ask how NY is and he says it's lovely -- it's far from the family! Santa (Dillon) comes in gets a warm welcome from all the kids. Just before the story starts, Alexis invites Ric over to sit with Molly. Alan begins reading the Baby Jesus story. During the part about "carrying the special child" Maxi runs off and Lucky goes after her. Liz sees this and snuggles up closer to Cameron. Lucky finds Maxi and tries to comfort her. She's upset that their baby will never have a Christmas. He hugs her and tells her that in time her pain will pass. Liz sees all of this.

For a guy with a name like Lucky; things aren't going too well.

Georgie is not happy when she finds Lulu in Dillon's arms up in the attic of her house. Spinelli's there too, but she's less concerned about him. They explain that they are trying to clear Lulu's mother's name from the murder she supposedly committed. They decide to continue trying different re-enactment scenarios and as they are taking their positions, Spinelli points out that Dillon's "little sister" Georgie is kind of a third wheel. Quickly Lulu informs him that Georgie is Dillon's girlfriend. In his own Spinelli-esque language he makes it clear that he thought Lulu and Dillon were an item. Lulu takes him away so Dillon and Georgie can talk.

In the Scorpio attic, Georgie pounces on Dillon because even Spinelli can see that Lulu and Dillon are into each other. George tells him that she wants to fight for him, but wonders if love should be this hard. It's supposed to feel right…and if it doesn't, you should let go. Dillon tells her that he's not going to let her give up on them.

Dillon comes home to find a strange scene in the Quartermaine study. Spinelli and Lulu are there with the family and Spinelli recognizes Alice but can't remember from where. Finally, he calls her the "Dominator" and tells everyone that she is the champion of the Friday Night Wrestling matches that he has seen. Tracy is glad to see Dillon because maybe he can shed some light as to where Lulu has been. Tracy slings some more insults at Spinelli and Alice tells everyone to stop being rude to her fan! Dillon agrees with his mother that it's not a good idea to have "spaghetti" stay at their house. Later on, Monica overhears Lulu, Spinelli and Dillon talking about trying to solve Rick Webber's murder. She comes into the room and tells them that she realizes that Tracy is right; Spinelli needs to stay somewhere else.

Jason and Sam get back together again!

Still looking at Spinelli's laptop at Kelly's, Dillon tells Georgie that classic murder mysteries always reveal that close family and friends shed the light on "motive". They go over the case again to see who else might have been involved. Soon Spinelli is able to crack the PCPD code and look into Rick Webber's autopsy file. Dillon and Spinelli see something that they don't think Lulu should see in the photos. Lulu says she knows it's probably gross; after all, he died of a blow to the head. Lulu tells Dillon that she's not going to go nuts like her mom; she wants to see the picture. Dillon doesn't want her to have the gory image in her head forever. She looks at the computer screen anyway.
