"And the Angle said to them 'fear not for unto you is born this day in the city of David…" Alan reads to Tracy as she waits in Luke's room. She wants him to stop, but he reads on. Finally Dillon comes in and she is thrilled to see him. She gives into her fear and hugs her son and Alan tells her "Merry Christmas."

    Another funeral.

    Friday, December 21 2007

At the hospital, Tracy is thrilled when she checks in with Luke's doctor and learns that he has agreed to surgery. She rushes into his room and Luke admits that it was Lulu who convinced him. He says that he saw everyone he's ever cared about when he looked in Lulu's eyes begging him yesterday, including his wife. "This is my family, I ain't gonna bail on 'em," he says. Tracy says that she is grateful to Lulu. As she kisses him, Dillon arrives and Luke is happy to see "Young Spielberg" in spite of the circumstances. Dillon assures them that he is going to be okay. Then Luke congratulates him on his budding career and Tracy says that she is proud of him, too. Lulu arrives and Tracy thanks her for changing Luke's mind. Then she asks Lulu and Dillon to pay her respects at Georgie's funeral, but Dillon says that he needs her there - especially because she was so awful to Georgie while she was alive.

Dillon rushes out of the church to comfort her. He tells her that he knows for a fact that Georgie never once doubted her mother's love for her. Felicia is in tears, but she eats his words up. He says that he and Georgie would get in crazy situations and when Georgie would find their way out, she credited her mother for teaching her things.

Lulu reports to work at Kelly's and commiserates with Mike about Georgie's death. The door swings open and Dillon comes in full of excitement because he has a surprise for Georgie. He starts to tell them about his plans to take her with him to Montreal to show her where he's filming. Finally, Lulu gets a word in. Specifically, three words. "Dillon, she's gone."

Dillon is trying to process the scene in which an ex-husband finds out that his ex-wife has been killed. He says that he knows how it's supposed to feel onscreen, but he doesn't know how to react in real life. He says that his fate is turning out to be a master of burying people he cares about. He lists Sage (Alcazar) and Emily and then gets sick when he realizes that he has to add Georgie's name. He rushes outside and Spinelli finds him gasping for air. He gently tells Dillon the name of the country where Georgie was going to spend her junior year abroad. Dillon calms down and they talk about how wonderful she was.

As Felicia tries to explain her choices to Maxie, Robin arrives. The two women hug and cry about Georgie together. Felicia brings Robin up to speed on where she's been and Robin is totally understanding of what Felicia was up against. There's a knock at the door and Maxie is shocked to see Dillon standing there. She welcomes him with a sad hug and he comes in and meets Georgie's mom for the first time. He tells Felicia how much he loved Georgie and that he hurt her deeply. Felicia forgives him and says that she knows Georgie really loved him back - she has a box of letters to prove it.

Dillon has gone back to Kelly's after making his rounds. He puts a song on the jukebox and sinks to the floor.

When Nik, Lucky and Liz arrive at the church, Edward is already there lightening a candle. He tells Lucky that he was always a great friend to Emily and Liz was more like a sister. Then he addresses Nikolas. He thanks him for not listening when he tried to chase him out of Emily's life. "You made her very happy," Edward says. Liz, Nik and Lucky take their seats as other people start to arrive, first Monica followed by Dillon and Ned. Edward says that their family has lost so much…A.J., Justice, Lila, Alan and now Emily. He doesn't know how much more he can take. Jax arrives, then Maxi and Georgie. Dillon and Georgie catch up for a few minutes. He asks her why she isn't returning any of his phone calls and she admits that there is someone that she is interested in now. Dillon tells her that she is still his best friend and he wants her to be happy. Leslie is there, complimenting Monica on teaching Emily how to be a good mother to her grandson (Spencer). Monica reminds Leslie that the two of them spent years fighting over Rick and now here they are alone. Lainey and Kelly are smiling about how Emily could throw back tequila shots, and Logan greets Lulu when she arrives with Tracy. The first thing Tracy does is tell Monica that she regrets the way she treated Emily. She explains that she resented the way everyone compared her to Lila. "I am so sorry for your loss Monica and I hope you can forgive me," Tracy chokes out the words before she takes her seat. Monica is touched by her honesty. Jax finds Alexis and sees how worried she is about Nik. "It might help if he didn't have you to worry about." He explains that Jerry's nurse tells him that she has been checking in on his brother. Alexis says that she is just concerned about her client, that's all. Jax warns her not to get too close to his brother.

    (Un)Happy Thanksgiving.

Ned has arrived at the Q mansion and is hugging Edward. He walks his grandfather over to the sofa so they can sit down and talk. Edward says that he feels broken inside over the loss of Emily. Monica walks into the room and calmly tells Ned that that they only seem to see him at holidays and funerals and today he gets to kill two birds with one stone. Ned and Edward sit quietly and let her ramble. She says that she should've cleared her calendar and been at the ball herself to celebrate the endowment for Alan. Then Dillon arrives and says all the right things to Monica. She tells him that she's glad to see him, but can't say anything meaningful right now. She says that if she would've spent her daughter's last few hours with her maybe she could've made a difference. Ned points out that Anthony Zacchara is a madman who couldn't be stopped. Monica points out that he is a mobster, just as her son is.

    It's Just Not Sam's Day.

The Quartermaines are still arguing over whether or not Dillon is leaving. Tracy pulls her blonde wig off and proclaims that she needs him. (And, she's arguing with Alan at the same time!) Scott arrives to take her back to Shady Brook. Alice says, "Who wants me to kick his ass and throw it out the door?" Before he takes Tracy, Scott wants to give his two cents worth. He tells Dillon that he was his age he was married to Laura - in fact today is their anniversary. He says that he has no regrets about his marriage to Laura even though he was young, so Dillon should trust his gut. Lulu tells Scott that she would be willing to go someplace and listen to Scott tell her about his anniversary with her mother. Scott is happy to go with her and Monica is quick to point out that Lulu distracted Scott from calling Shady Brook. Edward tells Tracy to go back on her own to Shady Brook, but instead she gets close to Dillon and tells him to stay. Dillon says that it's ironic that his mother is finally reaching out to him just as he doesn't need her anymore. He asks why she suddenly needs him. "I'm afraid you'll never come back," Tracy quietly says. Georgie arrives and tells Dillon that she's really happy for him and that he's going to be wonderful. Dillon turns to his mother and says the he won't be wasting his life, it's a year or two tops. He says that all those years in Europe, the films that he watched were more of a constant for him that his mother was. He says that movies put magic into his childhood and now he has a chance to learn how to make the magic for someone else's life. Edward begs Tracy to make a choice for once that isn't about her.
