A Cadaver We Have To Stash.

Delores and another officer arrive at the Quartermaine estate and tell Monica they got a call about gunshots. She didn’t hear anything and gives them permission to check the grounds. Jason shows up and tells Monica the baby isn't his, but Franco's. She assumes Sam cheated and he tells her everything, even that it was Heather Webber who sold the baby when Susan was passed out. He lets her know that he and Sam are over because he can’t promise to love the baby. She shares how she felt that way about Jason when he was a baby but when she held him all the resentment and hurt from her relationship with Allen disappeared. She thinks he can find it in himself to do the same. He leaves. Heather shows up and Monica wonder what she is doing there in violation of a restraining order. Heather suggests the go outside for fresh air.

Happy Birthday Spanky Buns.

Tracy excitedly walks downstairs to the main room in the Q mansion hoping someone has remembered her birthday. Alas, Monica doesn't care and Alice tells her cook has the day off so no cake for her. She can't believe no one remembered her birthday, not even her kids or father. Alice returns and says, "Someone did," as Luke appears with a flower box. She is touched he remembered, but her smile fades when she opens the box to find a riding crop. Anthony then shows up with a bunch of bags. He went shopping on her credit card to celebrate his release from jail. Starr shows up looking for Anthony. They talk privately and he reiterates Sonny was the one who shot out his tires. He saw him do it. Meanwhile, Luke tries to explain to Tracy his gift was from the heart because he tracked down what happened to her childhood horse Skittles that was given away and got her the horses' son, which is out back. Tracy can't believe he got her a pony for her birthday.

Are We Going To Say Goodbye To Mommy Now?

Tracy finds Edward looking at photos of the people they've lost. Edward talks about seeing Robin at the hospital and hearing about her wonderful Christmas with Patrick and Emma. It reminded him of how much Lila loved the holidays. Edward says he misses Lila. He misses them all. Tracy assures her father he has her and she's not going anywhere. Alice enters with Tracy's bags as Monica follows telling her sister-in-law she is moving out because she married Anthony. The women bicker until Edward passes out and falls to the floor. They get him to the chair and Monica checks him out. Edward says he needs to get to Robin's funeral, but Monica orders him to stay put. Tracy offers to stay with Edward. Monica, who is going to the hospital to honor Robin by saving more people, allows her the reprieve, but then she has to get out. After Monica has left, Edward lights some candles for Robin and says his goodbyes to her photo. Tracy gets choked up as she tells Edward she's glad he is still around because she needs him.

I'm Looking For My Daughter.

Over in Jason room, Sam asks Monica if she thinks there's any way Patrick botched the surgery on purpose. Monica knows Patrick did his best and wants to keep Jason calm. She doesn't think Jason should know about Robin until Patrick gives the go-ahead. Carly appears but Sam asks her to leave immediately. In the hall, Sam briefly fills Carly in on Jason's condition but refuses to let her upset him. Carly can't believe Sam has kept Robin's death from Jason and vows to tell him the second he wakes up. This is exactly why Sam refuses to let Carly see him - and Monica agrees with her! This means nothing to Carly, as Sam threatens to ban her from Jason's room. Carly promises not to let this go and walks away. Carly runs into Sonny, who talks about how Robin saved Jason's life. Carly holds Sonny close. Back in Jason's room, Sam apologizes to an unconscious Jason. She can't risk losing him.

Please Forgive Me.

Jason wakes up in his hospital room to find Robin standing over him. However, it turns out to be a dream as Monica wakes him up because he was talking in his sleep. Patrick enters and talks about how much time Robin has put into finding Jason a cure and that he hopes Jason appreciates all she's given up for him. However, he doesn't tell him she's dead, but infers she's home with Emma. Jason calls Robin and leaves a message thanking her for all she's done for him. As Jason is wheeled into surgery, Sam thanks Patrick. He retorts, "Don't thank me yet." He touches his wedding ring, as a vision of Robin stands nearby. He says, "Please forgive me."

She Lost Her Life For That Son Of A Bitch.

Sam tells Jason in his hospital room about the gas explosion in the lab. Jason gets a pain in his head as he asks if Robin is okay. Sam says Robin got out just in time. Jason wants to see Robin, but Sam won't let him leave the room. He asks her to bring Robin to him. Sam says she'll what she can do and leaves. Sam fights back tears as she runs into Monica in the hallway. Sam tells Monica Jason doesn't know about Robin because if he did, it would kill him. Monica relays that Robin died before completing his protocol. Sam needs to think about what to tell Jason and asks Monica to stay with him.

Selfish.

In the lab, Maxie explains to Robin what she did to Liz. She thinks it's really Matt's fault and asks Robin to go to the benefit with her. Robin tells Maxie her mother is in town and if she weren't so busy with work she would be spending time with Anna. Even if she could go to the party, she can't make things right between her and Matt. Maxie is incensed, calls Robin selfish and then storms off. In the process, Maxie unknowingly turns on a gas line. Monica stops by to see if Robin needs anything. Robin gives her an update on her work and hopes to have an answer tonight. Monica tells her the O.R. is ready just in case. Monica adds that she always thought Robin would be the one to save Jason. Just not this way.

As Jason and Sam wait for Robin's latest results in his hospital room, they talk about their baby. Jason wants to discuss what happens if he dies, but Sam won't let him because she knows Robin will save him. Sam gets a cramp and Jason helps her to a chair. Sam regroups and Monica pops in. She congratulates Sam on her pregnancy, musing she will be a great mother. Sam leaves mother and son alone. Monica tells Jason the swelling in his brain has worsened. Jason asks Monica to be Sam and his baby's family if he doesn't make it. Monica wouldn't have in any other way. Jason asks if she has any movies of him when he was a baby. Monica doesn't because he was still with his biological mother Susan then.

In No Hurry To Leave.

Maxie tells Monica at the hospital that Elizabeth stole drugs from General Hospital for Lucky. Monica asks if she has proof. Maxie replies that Liz confessed to her. Monica doesn't necessarily believe her and questions her motives. Maxie just wanted to do the right thing, but feels bad Liz will have to pay for what she did. Monica will look into it. Later, after Mat and Liz return to the hospital, Monica tells Liz they need to talk. Meanwhile, Maxie sees Matt and guilty scurries off.

Finding The Right Balance.

As Jason regroups at the penthouse, Sam returns downstairs. She marvels at all the missed calls she's gotten from Alexis to see how she's feeling and if she can tell Molly and Kristina about the baby. Sam wants to keep it to herself for awhile and then wonders how Carly will react to the news. Jason thinks she will be happy for them. Sam gets another call from Alexis and Sam decides she should visit her mother. Monica stops by after Sam has left. Monica knows Jason had some tests done and asks if he has any symptoms. Jason insists he's fine. As they talk, Monica finds a pregnancy magazine and asks if Sam is pregnant. Jason confirms and Monica is thrilled. She hopes she can spend time with her grandchild. Jason wants her and Edward to be part of the baby's life. However, he needs to make it clear that the child will be a Morgan and not the next Quartermaine heir. After Monica leaves, Jason finds the gift on the balcony. He grabs it and sternly says, "You're dead." He then passes out.
