Useful information on Lucas Jones
* Biological son of mobster Julian Jerome and Cheryl Stansbury.
Past: Waiter at Kelly's
Lucas was born to Cheryl Stansbury. She was told he was stillborn when he was really sold to Bobbie Spencer after an adoption she was planning fell apart and she was desperate for a baby.
Cheryl began to see herself in baby Lucas, as well as Robert Scorpio, the man she thought was the father of her dead child. Bobbie began to investigate Lucas’ background after he was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes, and learned he really was Cheryl’s son. At the same time, Cheryl began to doubt her child really died at birth and hired Robert to dig up the truth. Cheryl led Robert to believe mobster Julian Jerome was the baby’s father. Of course, she thought this was a lie when it was really the truth.
Robert found out that Lucas was Cheryl's baby and was able to prevent Bobbie from skipping town with Lucas. Robert gave Lucas back to Cheryl. She told Robert he was the baby’s father, but a DNA test said otherwise.
After Cheryl died in a car accident, her sister Tiffany Hill and her husband Sean Donnelly returned to Port Charles to care for Lucas, but Cheryl left the baby to a shocked but elated Bobbie and Tony in her will. Tiffany did everything to gain custody of Lucas, even disclosing Bobbie's prostitute past during a custody hearing. Sean refused to testify because of his disgust with Tiffany’s tactics. Bobbie and Tony were left to raise Lucas, but they eventually divorced in 1996.
In 2001, Lucas was poisoned by Lucky Spencer at Helena Cassadine’s bidding in order to control Tony. Tony agreed to do whatever Helena asked in exchange for a cure for Lucas. Tony discovered that Helena was keeping her son Stavros cryogenically frozen in a secret lab underneath the hospital. Tony turned to Luke Spencer for help, and he was able to get Lucas’ cure.
After a few dating mishaps with his adoptive cousins Maxie and Georgie Jones, Lucas came out in 2006. Tony readily accepted Lucas, but died a few months later, which devastated Lucas. He moved to Seattle shortly after, and Bobbie followed.
Bobbie returned to Port Charles when her daughter Carly Jacks went missing. Back in town she learned that Lucas’ mobster bio-dad Julian was still alive. She tried to hide it from Lucas, but Julian had learned about Lucas and was intent on meeting his son. Lucas came back to Port Charles to give Bobbie support and was shocked to learn about Julian. He went out to The Floating Rib for a drink where he met Brad Cooper. The two commiserated over being adopted out of mobster families. The two had a one-night stand. Lucas wanted more, but Brad told him he was interested in another man, Felix DuBois.
When Felix broke a date with Brad, Brad went out for a drink with Lucas instead and they ended up back in bed.
Lucas went to visit Tony Jones’ grave on the anniversary of his death and ran into Julian. Their relationship was already strained, and when Lucas told Julian he was gay, he did not react well. Julian assumed if he had been in Lucas' life Lucas might be straight.

She insists that part of her life is behind her. Meanwhile, Lucas stops Brad on his way in. Brad doesn’t want to hear about Lucas’ happy life with Brad. Lucas tells him there is no happy life. Brad was a sympathetic sounding board when he came to town during Carly’s kidnapping, and he thought they would be more. But it ended when Lucas learned Brad was helping Britt steal Lulu’s baby. Felix realizes that Brad was going to tell him everything on Valentine’s Day until Felix found the sexy selfie from Lucas. Lucas can’t believe Brad kept quiet after all the pain Lulu and Dante went through. Felix thinks Brad still felt guilty about it. Later, Lucas listens to Brad’s voicemail saying he misses him.
At Wyndemere, Lulu interrupts Nik’s speech, screaming for Britt to get her hands off her son. Dante and Nik try to stop Lulu and Liesl accuses her of losing her mind. Nik blocks Lulu so Liesl can leave with Ben. Alexis, Julian, Sam and Silas decide to hit the road but Lucas decides to stick around with Brad. Lulu finally tells Dante and Nik that she has proof that Britt used their embryos and Brad was in on it. In another room, Tracy tells Sonny that she saw Julian with Luke in the stables. Julian and Luke enter just then and Sonny asks Luke why he would be with Julian. Luke says he ran into him when he went to grab a cigar and issued a warning to treat Lucas well. Tracy appears but Sonny asks to speak to Luke alone. He tells Luke that Julian has a backer and he thinks it’s Ric. Sonny doesn’t think Julian’s vendetta is only about power and territory. Luke suggests Sonny take out Ric. Sonny thinks that’s extreme but Luke says it’s kill or be killed. Sonny won’t dole out death that easily and Luke hopes Sonny is making the right decision. In Ben’s room, Liz tells Ric that Lulu knows the truth about her son. Ric tells her about Alexis and Sonny’s suspicions that he’s mixed up with Julian, but he insists he isn’t. Ric wants to get closer to Sonny but he can’t blame Sonny for not trusting him. He suggests gathering up Cam and hitting the road before Lulu turns the castle into a crime scene. Unless she wants to stay? He thinks she sees this as her chance with Nik. Liesl enters with Ben and tells them her grandson needs to sleep. Liz scoffs and tells her they know the truth and together they leave. Meanwhile, Lulu tells everyone about the letter but realizes she doesn’t have it. Britt pounces, screaming for Lulu to produce it. Liz enters just then, letter in hand. Britt tearfully begs Nik not to read it, but he does. Tracy enters and joins Lucas. Nik asks Britt for an answer and Liz scoffs. Nik turns on Liz. He calls her a hypocrite, Saint Elizabeth looking down on these moral beasts when she has upended plenty of lives of her own. He accuses her of orchestrating a public scene and throws her out. Ric steps in to take her home and Nik screams even louder about her judgment being with Ric. Lucas ushers Brad out as Nik threatens him too. Outside, Lucas demands Brad tell him how much he had to do with it all. Inside, Britt admits the truth. Dante cries about the guilt he felt over having a baby without Lulu. Lulu and Dante rejoice in the fact they have a baby and leave to get Ben. Nik has to hold Britt back from following them. Meanwhile, Liesl promises Ben she will correct the situation. When Dante and Lulu go to Ben’s room, they are both gone.
