    At the hospital, Obrecht stops Nina as she rolls by for a mandatory chat about Madeline, or Magda as Obrecht knows her. Nina has read up on Obrecht online, listing her crimes from the previous spring. Obrecht admits she wasn’t “mutter of the year,” but thinks Madeline’s crimes were far worse. She calls Nina out on not keeping up with her PT schedule, and wonders why if she wants to walk. Franco walks up and takes the blame for Nina. He kisses Obrecht and tells her Nina is one of his most devoted patients. Obrecht is overjoyed they are working together and offers to take Nina to a session. Franco insists on doing it and alone, Nina thanks Franco. Then, their elevator gets stuck. Meanwhile, Lucas, Brad and Felix all make plans to “hang out,” all three thinking about a threesome. They can’t go to Lucas’ place because of Carly, and Felix’s place is out because Sabrina is coming back tomorrow. Brad’s place is out because of Britt, so Lucas suggests getting a room at the Metro Court. Felix is wary of Carly finding out. Brad insists they have to do this now or they’ll chicken out. He tells them to come over in 30 minutes and he’ll take care of Britt.

    Back at the hospital, Felix is delayed by the elevators and runs into Milo. Meanwhile, Obrecht taunts Liz about her date but Liz thinks what was interrupted with Nik will keep.

    Obrecht leads the press conference at General Hospital. The reporters pepper Patrick with detailed questions about his statements intending harm to the patient. He looks at Sam, who is staring at Silas. Nina looks happy off in the corner. Obrecht demands the source but the reporter won’t divulge. Obrecht declares the press conference over and threatens to call security. Patrick pulls Sam aside and she promises she didn’t say anything. Patrick asks Silas if he told the reporters and Sam wants an explanation. Did he tell his wife? Nina promises Silas didn’t tell her anything and Silas accuses Sam of believing Patrick over him. Sam thinks what Silas did is unforgiveable. He swears on his life he didn’t tell a reporter anything and takes Nina home. Patrick apologizes to Sam but she’s the one who is sorry. She thought she could trust Silas. Obrecht returns and tells them the lawyers have only one course of action. She fires Patrick.

    At the hospital, Patrick prepares for the press conference. Sam thinks she convinced Silas that Patrick did everything he could to save Rafe, and Patrick thanks her for believing in him. Meanwhile, Anna accuses Obrecht of setting Patrick up for a fall, and that she should let both sides calm down before adding fuel to the fire. Obrecht informs Anna that Rafe had been doing coke and heroin and suggests she stop the flow of illegal drugs into the city and leave the hospital to her. Meanwhile, Nina tells Rosalie that she heard Sam tell Silas in confidence that Patrick thought about killing Rafe, and she wants that tidbit to slip out during the press conference. Silas arrives and brushes Nina off to see Sam, so Nina directs him over to where she is chatting with Patrick. He fumes watching them and Nina offers to take him home to take care of him. Instead, he just walks off as Nina continues to beg after him. The reporters arrive and Nina pretends to drop her bag and after getting some help, offers some help of her own. When the press conference begins Obrecht goes over the details of Rafe’s critical car accident. One of the reporters calls Drake’s surgery a conflict of interest, but Obrecht is sure if they had not operated, Rafe would have died. The reporter needles about the possibility Drake killed Rafe. Patrick assures him he did everything to save Rafe’s life. The reporter asks him why he admitted he wanted the boy dead and the crowd gasps and flashes go off. Patrick looks right at Sam.

    At the hospital, Silas and Sam embrace while Nina watches through the window. When they emerge from Rafe’s room she tells him she has a confession but Sam and Silas ask her to wait. Rosalie needles Nina that she keeps getting lower on Silas’ list. Meanwhile, Silas accuses Lisel of putting his nephew in the OR with a man who wanted him dead and thinks the press should know all about this. She warns him that all of Rafe’s drug use will get out, and the fact he drove a family off a road. She accuses Silas of failing Rafe, and blaming the hospital won’t help. She wants him to take some time off work to grieve. Silas storms off and Liesl urges Sam to talks some sense into him before he destroys the hospital and his career. Nina leaves her chair and follows Sam and Silas to the roof where Sam urges Silas to reconsider. He accuses Sam of being blinded by her friendship with Patrick. Nina listens as Sam tells Silas that Patrick admitted he thought about hurting Rafe, but didn’t. Why would he say anything if it weren’t true? Back inside, Anna apologizes to Patrick for not identifying the driver and wants to know why Rafe drove off the road. Patrick tells her Silas thinks he intended harm to Rafe. Anna says Silas is shifting the blame from his own shortcomings as a guardian. Talk shifts to Robin and she asks if they’re divorcing. He admits Alexis drafted the papers. Anna struggles to make sense with Robin leaving right after she came back. Patrick tells her Robin’s loyalty is why he loves her, but he struggles to understand some of her attachments. Robin just doesn’t put her family first. Anna asks if there is something he isn’t telling her but Liesl interrupts and tells Patrick that Silas is about to go public with his accusations of malpractice. She wants them to make a statement in tandem. Anna suggests Patrick get a lawyer first but Liesl offers up the hospital’s. They need to act fast and Patrick owes it to the hospital not to fail again. Meanwhile, Nina returns to her chair, giddy that she has the ammo to bust Silas and Sam up. Patrick fantasized about killing Rafe and when Nina gets word out Sam will accuse Silas. Nina wants to release this bomb with maximum efficiency. She overhears about the press conference and knows what to do. Back on the roof Sam urges Silas not to pursue a case against Patrick – it will only cause more pain.

    At the hospital, Dr. Obrecht corners Franco and tells him how great he's been for the pediatrics ward. He's happy to be contributing to society. He goes back to work. Meanwhile, Tracy is anxious for news about Rafe's heart. She tells Monica about it. Everyone tries to keep her calm. Down the hall, Kiki and Silas discuss the transplant. Rafe's blood-type is a match for Alice. She apologizes for the timing of this. He doesn't see what difference the timing would make and agrees to talk to Alice's people. When they find them, Silas says he's willing to donate his nephew's heart. Franco strolls into the middle of the conversation. They tell him to get lost and he comments on how rude the Quartermaines are. After he leaves, Silas says that Rafe had a good heart, in spite of any mistakes he made. Monica is optimistic that things will work out. Morgan is thrilled and gives Kiki a hug. Michael stares at them. When Monica and Silas start comparing Rafe and Alice's heart in his office, Obrecht interrupts and wonders what they are up to. They fill her in. "No death wasted," Obrecht declares as her motto. The doctors return to the family and tell them that Obrecht has signed off on the transplant. A moment later, Obrecht interrupts to declare there is a problem. She explains that Rafe tested positive to heroin and the hospital can't allow a transplant in that situation. In Rafe's hospital room, Nina thanks Rafe for helping her drive a wedge between Sam and Silas. His hand moves and he stares at her. She keeps herself calm, but Rafe revives and yanks the oxygen tube out of his mouth. He taunts her and threatens to expose her secrets. She yells threats until Franco interrupts. She snaps out of it. Rafe is still comatose. Franco tells her that he used to see and hear things too. He hopes she won't be destroying lives like he did but he assumes she's just under a lot of stress. He leaves as Silas arrives.

    At General Hospital, Monica tells Morgan, Tracy and Michael that Alice had a heart attack and her heart is too weak for bypass surgery. She needs a transplant. Alice is on the top of the transplant list, but for now they have to rely in circumstance and someone else’s misfortune and pray Alice can hold on long enough. Meanwhile, Sam, Alexis and TJ keep vigil over Molly until she wakes up. She’s confused but asks about Rafe. The doctor takes a look and deems her fine. Dante enters to get Molly’s statement. She remembers they were driving fast and Rafe told her he caused Patrick’s accident. He was sick with guilt but Molly can’t remember what else Rafe said. In his room, Rafe struggles to tell Silas and Patrick something about the crash, but seizes before he can get it out. Later, in the hall, Patrick tells Sam that Rafe was trying to tell him something important before he seized. Silas tells them the seizure is a result from fluid on the brain and he needs surgery to relieve the pressure. Obrecht says Patrick is the man to do the surgery. Patrick and Silas both think it’s a bad idea but Obrecht tells them there’s no one else. If Patrick doesn’t operate, Rafe will die, so she expects him to put his feelings aside and do his duty. Sam begs Patrick to save Rafe like he did Jason. Patrick leaves for surgery, and Silas makes sure he knows he’ll regret it if he exacts revenge in the OR.

    Franco visits Obrecht at her office and hands her the egg salad sandwich painting. She’s ecstatic. She and Faison purchased it at the opening. Franco got the painting back from Monica and wants something in return. A job. She’s surprised since he’s such a good artist but he tells her his talent is gone. He wants to be someone again so he won’t disappoint the person he loves. He worries about her ex and Obrecht understands completely. There’s no proof but she knows Anna killed her love. The painting fuels her resolution to avenge his death. She has an idea. Later, Franco agrees to her idea and they shake hands. He’s excited to tell Carly. Later, Obrecht vows to make Anna pay someday.

    At the hospital, Dr. Obrecht seats Britt in a chair for a powerpoint presentation titled “How To Recapture A Cassadine.” Britt may have stolen his sister’s child, but time heals all wounds. The bigger challenge is Liz. “The nurse must be neutralized,” Obrecht says. Britt won’t hurt Liz and Obrecht tells her it’s just a last resort. She wants Britt to use her sex. Nik arrives and asks Obrecht if Liz can be back on staff. Obrecht won’t be persuaded but gives Britt a look. Britt threatens to turn on Obrecht and make Nathan do the same if she doesn’t and Obrecht agrees. Nik thanks Britt before slipping into the elevator. Obrecht tells Britt now Liz is at her mercy. Next, she pulls up a picture of Spencer. Meanwhile, Sam arrives looking for Patrick and runs into Silas and Nina instead. Silas tells Sam about the therapy and Nina apologizes for cutting their date short. She begs Sam to forgive her. Sam makes a comment about the nurse who left her alone and Rosalie snaps at her. Silas and Nina leave for therapy as Patrick walks up. They leave to go to the scene of the accident.

    Lucas finds Felix moping outside the hospital. The nurse fills him in about the Sabrina situation. Lucas tells him about his sister getting killed by a drink driver. Felix feels like he needs to take care of Sabrina. "Who is going to take care of you?" Lucas wonders. They hug. Felix says that the tragedy is Sabrina and Patrick's. He weeps. They hug again. Brad arrives and spots them. He lays into them until Lucas explains about the baby. Brad apologizes. The nurse walks off. Lucas lectures Brad, who explains that there is something between them worth saving. Lucas walks away. At the morgue, Molly cries to her mom about Nathan killing her dad. She begs Alexis to let her see her father. Her mom says that's not possible but changes her mind after some begging. Meanwhile, Anna lets Ric out of his bodybag. He thinks this is all terrible. She insists that he needs to stay 'dead' to protect his loved ones. They bicker about this. Alexis and Molly arrive at the door. Anna steps out and tells Alexis that Molly shouldn't see him because the wounds are so grim. Molly sneaks into the room. They run after her. Ric is hiding. Molly bursts into tears. Once she and her mom leave, Anna gets a disguise for Ric. He's shaken from what just happened and is having a hard time leaving. She repeats that this what he needs to do. Over at the nurses' station, Obrecht corners Liz when she gets off the elevator and demands to know where she's been. She warns her that there is a three strikes policy in place and she could be out on her 'keister'. Liz doesn't care and rails about how she just had to help a girl after her father was killed. She challenges Obrecht to fire her. "You're fired," Obrecht says. Nikolas shows up and says she can't be fired. Obrecht contradicts that and walks off. Britt arrives and the prince leads Liz away. Obrecht spots her daughter, sees she's upset and offers to help. "Help me get Nikolas back," says Britt. Outside, Liz cries to Nik. Molly and Alexis arrive. They hug and then Ric and Anna sneak out. Liz nearly spots him when she turns back to pick up her giant hanky.
