    B.L.T.

    Thursday, November 07 2013

At the Jerome Gallery, Sebastian thinks Heather looks angry and asks if she's having a good evening. She admits she's just getting started and downs another glass of champagne. Nearby, Carly tries to learn what secret relationship Derek has with Morgan when Ava invites Derek to tell the truth. When everyone dismisses Ava for knowing nothing about the truth, she is ready to fill them all in on their secret. Derek allows Ava to do the honors and she announces he's her silent partner. Carly reminds everyone the question was about his relationship to Morgan. Sam realizes that Derek's responsible for proceeds going to pediatric leukemia research and thanks him. Derek swears nothing's going on between Morgan and him and points out she can ask Morgan herself when he arrives. Ava slides up to Morgan and explains how Carly thinks he's involved with Derek. Morgan's offended and Ava furthers the point by kissing Morgan. Carly wants Ava to let go of Morgan and attacks her. After they're pulled apart, Sebastian introduces Franco, who enters with Diane. Franco thanks everyone for coming and for not losing faith in him. He looks at Carly as he speaks and adds, "Your love and support mean everything to me." Sebastian catches Heather getting another drink and warns she better purchase a painting before they're own gone. She tells him she wants to buy the rest of the paintings but she wants something from the artist first. Sam and Silas visit the bar. She wants to check on Carly but she's busy talking to Franco…he's sorry he missed the cat fight but is glad he was wrong about Morgan and Derek. He hopes she has a lovely evening with Derek and Carly hopes he does the same with Diane. She compliments him on the show and he really needs to tell her something. Elsewhere, Diane runs into Max who's interested to know if she's really seeing Franco. Back at the bar, Ava points out to Derek that Sonny's thug has arrived. Derek knows what he's doing and leaves to talk to Sam. She's interested in him making another trip to the hospital for research for Danny. Sam hugs him when he agrees. Kiki arrives with Michael to warn Morgan about Ava's connection to the Jerome crime family. Ava and Morgan aren't interested. Kiki thinks something is seriously wrong and wants Morgan to walk away from Ava until they figure this out. She has proof. Morgan blows them off and leaves with Ava. Michael noticed Morgan wasn't surprised when they told them about Ava's brother. Scott and Lucy show up. She's worried Morgan's gift to Scott comes with strings attached. Scott receives a call – Lazaro's out as D.A. and Baldwin is in. Suddenly, Sebastian announces there's a purchaser for the remainder of Franco's art if he can tell them all about each of the paintings. Everyone's confused at Franco's mumblings. Suddenly, Heather turns one of the striped paintings on its side and retorts, "You just don't get it. It's a B.L.T."

At the Metro Court, Derek and Ava listen in on Sonny's discussion with Max on the computer. He intends to take Derek out – Julian Jerome dies tonight outside of the gallery. Ava's glad she talked Derek out of killing Morgan but she's upset Derek still plans to attend the opening. Sonny has his plan for the night…now Derek has his. This all ends tonight. No one can get a gun into the gallery except him when he comes in through the back. Ava doesn't want him shooting up her gallery. Carly approaches Franco's room and lets him know she's going to the opening with Derek. Franco knows something she doesn't know…Derek is sleeping with her son. That's ludicrous, Morgan's sleeping with Ava. Franco thinks they're both sleeping with him but Carly doesn't believe him even when he saw Derek dressed in a robe when Morgan left his room and he told him, "Nobody needs to know about our relationship." Carly doesn't believe him and wants Franco to worry about selling his paintings before he's in the poor house. He wants to tell her something about his art but can't and she leaves. Later, Franco tells Diane he's not going when she comes to pick him up.

Diane supervises the moving men taking paintings out of Franco's room. She hopes they can keep it undercover that he didn't paint them. Carly passes by and stops to find out what the secret is if Franco and Diane aren't a couple. Diane won't chance Franco giving Carly the truth and pretends to be infatuated with him. She kisses him and rushes off for the gallery. Franco grabs Carly's arm and she asks, "What's left to say?" He doesn't reply and she leaves. Derek was hoping to see Carly when Morgan arrives to his room. They listen in on Sonny and hear Lazaro ask for the file on Julian Jerome back. The county is digitizing their files and he can't take a chance that they find it missing. Sonny can copy it if he wants. Sonny has all he needs. He knows Derek Wells is Julian Jerome and doesn't tell Lazaro how he'll handle it. Derek's impressed that Sonny already knew who he was when they met and understands he's waiting for Derek's next move. Morgan asks if Derek is going after Sonny first when Carly knocks. Morgan hides as Derek lets her in. They agree to meet at the gallery for the opening and she leaves. Alone, Derek has a job for Morgan and gives him a flash drive. In the hall, Franco overhears Derek remind Morgan that their relationship needs to remain discreet.

At the Metro Court, Carly lets Franco know she's going with Derek to the opening. Franco knows something about Derek. Meanwhile, Ava meets with Derek. Their plans could be blown out of the water if Sam identifies him. It doesn't matter. Sonny knows who he is. They listen in on Sonny's conversation with Max. He plans on taking Derek out at the opening.

    My New Mommy.

Carly asks Franco to leave her home, Josslyn needs her. Outside, he's followed by someone in a big bad wolf costume, carrying a butcher knife. Alone, Carly holds Franco's invitation and remembers their almost-kiss. Her doorbell rings. It's Derek dressed as Zorro. He says, "Trick or treat?" She's eager to discuss her invitation to the gallery and confronts him about being Ava's partner…and maybe more. He doesn't want to bore her, but he is just Ava's silent partner. Any thought of touching Ava disgusts him. Carly wishes it disgusted Morgan. Derek's more interested in Carly and kisses her. Josslyn's upstairs so Carly tells him to go. He's still interested in being her date to the art show.

Franco compliments the big bad wolf when the woman in costume follows him to his room at the Metro Court. She strikes out with the knife and he falls back to the floor. Heather takes off the wolf mask and Franco screams, "Now I'm scared!" Heather saw Franco try to kiss Carly. Carly doesn't deserve Franco; she's not right for him. Franco's forgiven Carly for trying to kill him and asks why Heather cares. He thinks she wants him all to herself but Heather thinks it's disgusting that he thinks she loves him. She apologizes for hurting his feelings but doesn't think of him that way. He's confused that she'd rather have sex with Luke.
