Useful information on Morgan Corinthos
* Was named after Jason Morgan and Stone Cates.
Morgan was born in 2003 to Carly and Sonny and was named after Jason Morgan and Stone Cates. He has mostly been an adoring little brother to Michael who was shot in 2008, which left him in a coma for a year, but Morgan has also bonded with his new stepdad Jax.
Since Michael woke up and left the hospital, Morgan has wanted nothing more than to spend time with his big brother, but Michael went to live with their father and then the Quartermaines.
While walking through the woods to visit Michael at Sonny’s house, Morgan surprised a hitman named Dominic, who held him at gunpoint. When both Carly and Michael showed up, Dominic let them all leave without incident. It later turned out that Dominic was actually his brother, Dante, and an undercover cop. For months, Dante worked undercover to bring down the man he had no idea was his father. He and Morgan developed a bond. After Dante was shot by Sonny, the truth came out. This, and many fights between Jax and Carly, led to a great deal of friction in the family. Morgan eventually left for boarding school.

At Port Charles PD, Anna rushes ballistics. They've only 36 hours to hold Julian Jerome before they have to either charge him or let him go. A cop brings in Morgan. She thinks Morgan may know who shot AJ and accuses Ava of the crime. Morgan defends her and shows Anna a text from Ava saying she's stuck in New York City. Anna calls it inconclusive. What about Sonny? Morgan can't speak for him so she lets him go. Meanwhile, Julian paces his cell. Carlos arrives and Julian asks him to find out who shot AJ. He suspects Ava and wants Carlos to get the truth from her.
Sonny arrives at his office. He's on the phone to Ava, worrying that AJ won't kick the bucket. Morgan shows up in a panic since he hasn't heard from his ladyfriend. He tells his dad about AJ being taken to the hospital and wonders if he had anything to do with this. Sonny insists he wouldn't do anything to hurt Michael. After Morgan heads out, Shawn arrives and Sonny fills him in. He asks for an alibi but Shawn won't give him one since he was already seen at Kelly's. After promising to find his boss an alibi, he warns him that AJ better not wake up. Sonny is not afraid of going to jail, but he sobs about breaking a promise to his son. "I messed up in the worst possible way," Sonny says, fearing that he'll lose Michael over this.
AJ is wheeled into the hospital operating room. Patrick and Felix wonder if they should stop trying to keep his heart going. Michael runs in and begs the doctors to keep trying. They get the heart rhythm back and send Michael out. Ric and Liz watch. He wonders why she even cares about AJ. She recaps the long story. She's still not sure if AJ really shot Connie. Across the hall, Morgan arrives and Michael cries on his shoulder. Michael seems confused when his brother tells him how he heard about all of this. AJ is wheeled out on the way to surgery. Michael asks who did this to him. AJ can't talk.
