Morgan is a spoiled, immature young "dude" (Julian mimicked Morgan lol) who has failed to grow up with a mature take on life. IMO Unfortunately, Morgan fails to grasped the fact that he had it better than Micheal.

Michael suffered greatly and was a victim of Sonny's organization. Carly knew this could happen and did not wish to have her youngest child Morgan suffer in the same way!

I've never been a fan of "spoiled to the bone-adult brat" Carly but I did agree with her decision to remove Morgan from Sonny's life during his youth. Personally, I would have moved with Morgan...lol.

But all jokes aside, Morgan attached himself too tightly to Star (oops I mean Kiki) because Morgan suffered from neglect and Kiki was the only person who gave him that "love me closely" affection. I'm certain she was his first!

Most neglected children experience this. They seek affection outside the home if the parents neglect to provide affection inside the home. But when Morgan found out Kiki was attracted to his brother Micheal he should have cut his losses. This is what mature people do.

Morgan is hurt and rightly so but I can not say I agree with his decision to turn against his father in such a volatile way. It's very SELFISH, IMMATURE & VINDICTIVE for a son to wish harm (especially death) on his parents. Yes, it's way over the top for the average human. IMHO

ITA!!! He maybe hurting but to wish harm on his father is way over the top...at the end of the day family is family you can't choose them and your parents are your parents like it or not

I'm Team Morgan! Family loyalty works both ways. No one is worried about Morgan's feelings just why Ava is with him. Michael is blissful with troublesome Kiki and thanks to sonny he had a restaurant to manage. Family isn't always blood. Not that she is a saint but Ava was risking her ass for Morgan. Blood doesn't always make you family.

I hate to inform you of the obvious but yes, blood does make you family.

You may not like the family you have but DNA is indisputable and can save your life. Why distance ones self from your family life line over a crush (like Kiki). And that is what Kiki ever was to Morgan.

And Ava is simply a "mother" (who leaves a bad taste in my mouth) enjoying her "daughter's soon to be ex-husband" which does not a suitable suitor make.

And although Morgan does need someone on his "team", he needs someone that can give him sound advice (like the oh so clever Diane) and make him accountable for his actions.

If Morgan continues on the path he is currently on he will end up 6 feet under (like Connie's son) and it will be no one's fault but his own and his POOR choices. IMO

I hope Morgan wises up soon before it's too late.

I am torn. I feel bad for Morgan and I don't won't to see him mixed up with Sonny or Julian, but if Julian just offers him a job like Sonny did for Jason all those years ago this could get interesting.

Like I said blood doesn't make you family. It simply means you share DNA. Family is more than that. I have blood relatives I'd drive by on a cold wet night. Family is sacred not who your mom happen to shack up with on a particular night. Morgan's father, brother and mother are sorely lacking. Sonny needs to find a common ground and meet Morgan there to talk to him vs. at him. Michael needs to tell Kiki to sleep on Silas' couch. Carly needs to stop playing tonsil hockey with Derrick and Franco. Morgan should be a primary concern instead of an afterthought.

Oh no, it sounds like you have been given a lot to deal with at a young age. So sorry that it has come to the point that you would drive by your family members. I think that is awful.

But the OP got it right if we stick to the script of GH.

Morgan is ungrateful and must grow up so the he can effectively deal with life and have a future that sustains him.

Acting out never resolves anything. This will hopefully be learned by Morgan once maturity has been reached. In the mean time, let's hope Morgan gets himself together and forgives his father and mother before it gets him or someone else killed!!!

I think it's hard to forgive then when their actions, in Morgan's eyes, validate what hurts him. Carly's only concern is him shagging Ava and Sonny is moreso concerned about the Jeromes. If he is hurting to the point of acting out, it would seem THEY need try harder.
As for me driving by family members, don't think I'm the first. I'm just real and acknowledge some people, blood or not, aren't always worthy.

I'm not sure how Morgan is treating his parents badly. I think his parents are both self-centered and narcissistic and have no clue what Morgan is going through. They have not helped Morgan work through his feelings at all.

Michael seems to be the only one who truly empathizes with Morgan and of course Morgan doesn't want to listen to him because of the ex-wife situation.

Also, it's not surprising that Morgan would say and do whatever is necessary to keep from being killed. That seems pretty smart to me. JMO, of course.

First of all, what is so great about the Corinthos name that it is an honor to live up to? Morgan is an ungrateful spoiled brat and KiKi leaving him was inevitable without or without Sonny's big speech at the party, but I do understand where Morgan is coming from to a point...he has always felt like the lost child in the Corinthos family. Sonny spent all of last year worried about Kristina and Trey and his fawning over Michael and AJ has been going on for at least a decade. Morgan is suffering from the Jan Brady syndrome and his turning on his father was also inevitable. The only problem is that once Morgan has outlived his usefulness to the Jeromes, that will kill him.

Thanks for reminding me of Connie's sons name.

Somehow I could never remember it. He was a bit of a whiner at first.

But at least he loved his dad, had a moral compass and was able to determine right from wrong.
