Quote oltllover: In fairness to Michael, AJ cut him off and the kid wants to believe his father is a good guy. How many times did Michael defend Sonny. As far as Liz goes she wants to believe she made the right choice picking AJ so she has to "ignore" what he is really capable of. They both heard him threaten Connie so lets see how they feel when that plays out.

True. You do have a point there. I think that Michael and Liz are really just in denial more than anything but I just wish they would wake up already. It'd be one thing if this was just some sort of brawl between AJ and Sonny because Sonny is more than capable of defending himself, as we all saw, he gives as good as he gets but Connie?? She was unarmed and defenseless and when Sonny ordered AJ to let her go, he made sure to give her one last good choke before ungripping his hand from around her throat. AJ would have gladly killed Connie with his bare hands if Sonny hadn't interrupted and he felt no remorse about that. I just don't see how anyone could defend that, even if he is their father.

I guess we'll just have to see how things go though.

Glad someone else saw that final choke that AJ gave Connie.
And that bold face threat he delivered to Connie in his way out the door with Liz and Michael? His sense of entitlement is right up there with his two brothers, Jason and Franco but at least his brothers had brain tumors to blame their bad behavior on.

I completely agree. AJ truly believes that everything bad that's ever happened in his life is because of everyone else and never him. His mentality while attacking Connie reminded me a lot of Kiefer and how right after he beat Krissy he yelled "You made me do this, this is all your fault!!" because that's exactly how AJ thinks. Apparently none of his choices are his own. Yes, Jason was the favorite but he didn't have to pick up a drink and blame it on that, yes his son was taken away from him but he didn't have to fake his death and traumatize two other young children in the process, and yes Connie did run a story that ultimately led to AJ's losing his precious CEO spot but he did not have to choke her for it.

All I ever hear from AJ and his supporters is well yes he did that but it was only because..or..You made him do that because you pushed him too far..or my personal favorite, it wasn't his fault!! We all have choices, they may not always be easy but they're our choices to make and AJ always makes the wrong one and he always will and he'll never take responsibility for any of them because AJ is perfectly content playing the victim and that's just who he is.

What I'd really love to see is for Connie to march herself down to the PD and press charges on his delinquent ass and let the whole world know that AJ tried to choke the life out of her, literally.

Oh, I wish Connie would press charges on him. In the real world, especially with witnesses present AJ would be toast

And, seriously now, what did AJ really lose? Not much, by my account. Whether he's CEO or not, Michael still seeks a father/son relationship with him, he has the love of a good woman and he has beaucoup bucks due to his stake in ELQ.

Sorry, folks, I'm not feeling the urge to join in the AJ pity party.

Seriously, all AJ really lost was a company that was never even his to begin with. He still has what should matter most to him. He certainly doesn't deserve any of it but none the less, he's got it. I don't feel the least bit sorry for AJ, he's a worm, and in the words of Sonny "I want him to hang..On a hook!!" LOL especially for what he did to poor Connie. AJ doesn't deserve anyone's loyalty, least of all Michael's and it's about time that punk got his judgement day. I really don't get why Connie doesn't press charges.

Quote PuNkRoCk PrInCeSs: I personally love the scene I wish Sonny got to kick some azz .

When I first saw AJ back on I thought he was going to cause some trouble , but all he does is whine like a b!tch

If you want a relationship with your son then have one . A company won't make him any less proud of you if you don't have it . Michael obviously already cares about him a stupid company built on a family won't lessen it . He should start a rival company with Michael and go against Tracy . But , no . He wants to cry about it . He just to lame for me . All does it whine and complain about what Sonny and Carly did to him . Or how Tracy is this or that . I don't care . And that's who Liz wants ?

I'm so happy he's not in Sam's orbit . The writers save us Sam fans

And I wish Sonny would get his azz kicked. I'm so sick of that bully! I can't wait until Michael finds out what really happened, and that Sonny chose Morgan over him.

I hope Julian takes him out.

See that's my same problem. I was skeptical when he first came back but then I figured so many other characters have bad histories as well, I'll give him a chance to prove he's changed and see how it goes but I see no change in him to be honest. He's saying he's changed every chance he gets but all I see is the same old AJ.

It will be interesting to see how AJ reacts to Ava - let's see if he tries to choke her - she is the one who has lied about Kiki being a Quarter Maine. With any luck he will try to bully her with a throat grab when she has a pair of scissors in her hands - What Sonny did to AJ will pale in comparison to what Ava will do to AJ

Omg, I would love to see that go down. I can totally see Ava being all 'you like to beat up on women, take this one on for size' and then whamo lol

When Liz was patching up AJ's boo boo, and listening to him whine and threaten, I expected to see a light bulb above her head with a "RUN LIZ RUN" caption.

Sonny showed him what happens to a man that man handles a woman.
One smack and down he went. KABOOM!!!
