    :D Major BOO!! I won't watch Katie Couric ever. I will just change DVR time to follow GH. If ABC wants out of the soap genre altogether,,,then if was ironic GH won best Daytime Drama Emmy last night. GH forever!

    Who in the world is Katie Couric, if she is a talk show host no I want be watching her. Do not really care about the other ones over the years.

    12 noon-The Chew(eww)

    1pm-Dr. Oz

    2pm-General Hospital

    3pm-Katie Couric

    I wonder where "GOOD AFTERNOON AMERICA" will fit in...I imagine the local networks will start shifting GH around all over the place...

    I hope they don't put it on at 9am on a day delayed basis like CBS did with Guiding Light.

    I honestly believe that if "Good Afternoon America" does well (i guess it is a six week trial)--then ABC might re-evaluate GH future...I gotta say I can't watch "the talk"...so I am stuck with GAA....

    I'll just shut the TV off during that hour. I will only support GH. I have no interest in supporting these bore ass talk shows.

    A Katie Couric show is a high profile, presumably quality for once, addition. I think it shows a nice vote in confidence in GH to have it as the lead in. We can't rest easy to be sure, but I would be much more worried if they moved GH up by 2 hours and put The CHeap chEW as the lead in to the new flagship show.
