    What on earth is Couric and why is it taken g.h SLOT why not someone elses I will stop watching anyways if Jason and Sam aren't together before then maybe sooner and they are w/ there child I have watched this show over 35 yrs I am getting sick of it and this was the key that broke the camels back w/ this writer did this story line between Sam and Jason only reason I kept watching

    Because it is a pattern..Time slot gone and then GH gone next Year..These fluff talk shows are mindless dribble..all the same and daytime is THE SOAPS..the posts of negativity just give TPTB more power to get rid of the few soaps left and it is a shame..the writers over the years have been great writing 5 shows a week..It's a shame that longtime fans are trashing the show..THIS is the point.I adore Jason but he is not the only reason I have watched this show from day one..Jessie Brewer( Emily McGlofton) is turning over in her grave right now knowing her show is more or less doomed.

    I have read articles about Couric and they all seem to indicate she wants to court the GH fans for her new show, but at the same time wants to be on air at 3:00pm est. I don't understand her thinking behind this. Why not just exchange a talk show for a talk show. Ophrah has been gone almost a year or so put Couric in her spot.
    I think even before the ink was dry on her contract ABC knew that Revolution was going to tank. Couric could have been GH's lead in at 2:00 or taken over the spot at 4:00 which at least iin my area is local programming right now.

    I think the 4:00 time slot is either local or syndicated in most areas. We've had Rachel Ray on for years in this time slot and Oprah was on a completely different network here. It really does not matter to me what time slot GH is in because I DVR it.

    I am actually looking forward to GH moving to 2pm. It will be easier on my day routine, and I have missed watching OLTL in that time slot, so it will be kind of nice. I just hope GH does well there. I hope they can still pull in decent ratings.

    I live on the East Coast and as of yesterday the ads for the Couric show was for a 4:00pm time slot which leaves GH at the same 3:00pm East Coast Time slot.

    Also, last week and yesterday a new show can't remember the name is coming July 10th to the 2:00pm time slot, my guess to take over for the Revolution which was cancelled.

    Unless another change is made I don't think the network and the Couric show would be advertising show times if the time slot is incorrect.

    As for GH not being around when the Couric show comes on I realize OLTL and AMC got zero notice but the fans did know a little while in advance, for OLTL we have a few months longer than AMC. It could happen still but I think we'd know by this point if the Couric show was coming on and GH was going off. GH I think will be with us for awhile yet and as long as the Couric shows ratings are up hopefully she'll keep wanting GH as her lead in.

    We shall see but for now at least on the East Coast ads Couric is scheduled on at 4:00pm and a new show, come July, at 2:00pm and no news about GH not continuing to be on at 3:00pm.

    Someone may have different info but that's what my tv is saying right now.

    Keep up the faith...........GH will be here.
