    SEPT 10TH COURIC TAKES OVER GH TIME SLOT

    According to Daytime Confidential GH is gone as of Sept 10th..The Couric Show has taken over 95% of the time slots in the country. WTF are they doing? I would rather throw my TV away than watch anothing talk show with people telling me how to live my Life..Don't they know we want the escape of our soaps?? I see real life at work every..check it out for yourself.

    Well I will definitely never be watching that show just as I never watched the ones that took over for AMC and OLTL.

    If this show doesnt get rid of the Sonny/Kate/Jason show---im out...cant wait for EITHER "good afternoon america" or "katie"...thank you ABC for giving us something to watch besides deserted baby storylines or switched baby storylines...Or dead baby storylines...GEEZ...WHY did the show think we needed ANOTHER baby storyline right now--im about to bail outta Port Charles... ---

    If i wanted to see kids without decent parenting---i could go to WAL-MART and look at some of you "moms", without wedding bands, let your kids run around like a playground so you can talk on your cellphone...heehee

    GH is just moving up an hour in Sept. The Revolution was cancelled so Good Afternoon America is a fill in for the summer. Katie C. did not want to irk GH fans so she told the suits to have it as a lead in to her new show. GH is fine. For me I am happy, after GH I can turn off the TV and go to the gym. No Katie for me. She was afraid of a boycot from soap fans.

    That's what I read. It's just moving up an hour. However, if Good Afternoon America does well then there is a risk GH is gone next year. I think it's a case of when not if. ABC just wants out of the soap game in my opinion.

    Katie wants GH to lead in and she will get it. Not even the host of Good Afternoon want to do it. Just a summer filler. Don't worry, be happy. Katie is afraid of the soap fans killing her show. And they would.

    She bugs the crap out of me. At least this frees Tim Gunn from that awful show, though.

    I agree. It's been made perfectly clear that the network just wants to be done with the whole soap genre. The past two canceled soaps could have been saved, they just didn't WANT to save them. It's a real shame but it is what it is.
