A match made in Hell  and those goons had fake guns They were not fake......... But where is the outrage for a little boy to be killed so a replacement baby can come???????????? You really want to play this game???????? Seems you are on the other side of the fence now...... I thought we were better than this stuff now...... Let it go.... you won't win..... The writers are just trashing someone else now...... Wow! Where was it written or shown that Jake was killed to make way for Sam's baby? I didn't see it anywhere! What I did see on my screen and read in the magazines was that Rebecca was being let go and that they wanted a juicy send off. But then she was rehired (YAY!!!!) and they changed it but the story was already set in motion. Sam and Jason were not even married at that point and Sam was only contemplating the procedure then. Not only that, but in one phrase you antagonize and attack the poster for voicing what was SEEN and state "You won't win" then in the next sentence you say that I thought we were above that? Not nice and clearly you can't practice what you preach. Confusing perception with facts is how a lot of this back and forth garbage between the fan bases gets ugly. And it's so unnecessary! Jason is wrong; Sam was wrong. I think the original posters point is where is the same outrage from those people who still want Sam to wear the scarlet letter for her misdeeds now for Jason? (and I didn't even know this board existed then, but I have seen this very point dredged up time and time again) |

Also Sam is obviously not barren since she just gave birth, so you are going to have to come up with a new mantra for your dislike for her   .Now to the question at hand - They were both wrong! Jason knew that Sam was near McBain and made it clear that no harm should come to her, yet the mere act of settng those plans in motion put her and her child in harm’s way. And these goons weren't sent to just scare John, they were there to beat a scare into him and send him a message. Sam didn't want harm to come to Liz or her children; she wanted to scare her with fake guns etc. So really it' not apples and oranges in my opinion, it's the same idea with different tactics and outcomes. Yes, you are absolutely right in regards to me disliking Jason, Sam or Jasam...more passionately Jason As far as me calling Sam barren- it was referring to her in the past-tense; when she was barren and very bitter Why arent I outraged over Jason's 'Sam-like' tactics to "scare" John off is because like I said in other post (atleast I think I post it) This doesnt suprise me one iota, its right up his alley cause Jason is a Punk ass! The only difference in these alarmingly similar circumstances is that a woman and her children were involved in the first creepy "Scare tactic" while Jason went for the gusto and went straight gangsta on John's ass! Maybe if Jason was watching Natalie and Liam (John's Family) from the bushes like a stalker and witnessed someone kidnap Liam and said nothing, I'd be more inclined to agree with this thread and say, Yes these two situation's are exactly the same and Jason should be just as cruxified as Sam was. But thats not the case here. Besides, I bash Jason on the regular and dont gloriy anything that thug does so, hey

(and I didn't even know this board existed then, but I have seen this very point dredged up time and time again) Guza(HW at the time)gave an interview where he stated that Jake had to die in order for Jason to rethink his stance on his life being to dangerous for a child and it would then be ok for him & Sam to have a baby. |

A match made in Hell Sam's goons were there to threaten and intimidate Liz and the kids. Jason's goons meant actual harm. I knew some would makes excuses in this situation. When you hire goons/thugs you immediately lose control of the situation! you never know what they are gonna do on your behalf, so Sam's goons were potentially as dangerous as Jason's thugs! Jason and Sam were both wrong, no excuses, just both wrong. Insecurity is an ugly emotion and can bring out the worst in some people. |

When Sam kept Robin's death from Jason, the haters were out in force saying what a bad person she is, blah....blah.....blah. Where are the same people saying Jason is selfish lying to his wife that he is potentially to blame for the baby dying. Shouldn't he be honest too just like Sam should've been? |

Or is it only for the characters you hate? Jason should most definitely fess up. Looking forward to Sam finding out from someone else and ripping Jason a new one. |
