I HATE the Franco baby daddy storyline. I hate that they have turned Sam into a whinny weak person. I LOVE Sam/Jason together. Why oh why are the freaken writers destroying such a wonderful soap...

Sideline, when the heck is Kristin Storm coming back? I am not a of the actress filling in for her.

I just created an account to say the same exact thing! LOL Sam's been whining for months now and the whole spilling her guts to a stranger (McBain) is totally NOT Sam. I am so pissed that it's Franco's baby! Another stupid DNA switched s/l would be stupid too. Maybe they are doing this to get McBain & Sam together for the ppl who watched them on that other soap. I only know Sam & Jason, so I don't give a crap about her supposed chemistry with the OLTL guy. They just ruined Sam's whole character!
And, yes, when is Kirsten Storms coming back???

In February they announced that Kirsten Storms will not be returning do to medical problems (still). She needs a lot of prayers. <3

The network released this statement today: “Kirsten Storms will not be able to return to ‘General Hospital’ as soon as originally hoped and announced. Jen Lilley will continue to play Maxie Jones for the foreseeable future.”

I would be surprised if Sam acted any other way. She fits in character for all she's been through. The way she's hiding things from family, afraid to tell anyone close to her, but willing to tell a stranger who's shown nothing but consideration and has helped her (perfect reactions for a rape victim) even the part where she was in denial, saying it couldn't have happened because she didn't want to admit it.

I don't think they're doing this to get John and Sam together- this has been planned for YEARS. Ever since Franco came to the show.

It all makes sense- his obsession with ONLY Jason and wanting them to be partners, alike. (he knew he was his twin)

Also Dr. Lee sitting Jason and Sam down for five minutes and discussing in depth exactly what the test entailed, that it wasn't a full DNA test because they couldn't do that at that time- and it was to determine genetic factors ONLY. If they came from the same family.

A red flag right there that there was a big reason why that would be so important in the future.

This was before the OLTL writers came on board. They just took the ball and ran with it...and remember too that the original GH writers are still part of the creative team and likely would have told them what they had planned.

I see this as being set up from the beginning, with little clues that fell on the wayside for viewers to pick up, and those who now know to go back and see with their palm hitting forehead - "I should have seen it coming."

So don't blame the OLTL writers...it's clear (to me) this was all GH's idea from the start...

Love James Franco and think he will return. He's the only bad guy that ever got under Jason's skin and now we find out he's his BROTHER! How soapy!

i really wanted this to be Jason's baby and i am still hoping it is. i think the test was switched by heather when she was at the hospital and disappeared for a few minutes. dna change all the time.

as for Kirsten they never said she would not turn but that it wasn't happening for a while. i heard she ended up having 3 surgeries. i feel so bad for her. i noticed she wasn't hardly on twitter until recently so i am hoping that means she is getting better and hopefully will return soon.

Purely speculation, but I don't think they are headed toward a McBam hookup, I think they are headed to a long-lost sibling Storyline. It is very possible Sam could turn out to be the sister McBain says was killed by Sonny.

With the all the talk of "I feel like I know you," and such, I see a very brother/sister type relationship developing, not a love story.

I hate everything about this story.

The thing I hate most is that they're setting up the damn RAPE VICTIM as the bad guy. The promos saying: "Keeping secrets- how will her husband react?" As if Sam slept with someone else.

How about focusing on how the RAPE VICTIM now has to carry the child with no choice in the matter (too late to abort) and deal with her own pain? No, the important thing in the idiot writers' minds is that she kept the info to herself for two days to run a second paternity test and be sure of what's going on before shattering Jason's world. Sam's frightened lie > Sam's rape.

Perverted, horrible, nasty thinking. I'm truly disgusted.
