If anything I have always been curious as to who Spinelli's biological parents were or are, depending on whether or not they are alive or dead because Spinelli's parents have never been mentioned nor have they ever been around at all as they weren't in the picture and he was raised by his Granny in Tennessee, that was how his backstory was when he was introduced but to me that was sort of a letdown in my opinion because I would love to see Spinelli's family explored and maybe his Granny the woman who raised him, perhaps she wasn't his real grandmother at all, and perhaps Spinelli could have been adopted

Or maybe yes it is his real grandmother but that it is maybe his mother's mother and that Spinelli's mother if she's dead, then it begs the question of who his biological father is

And before the writer's strike way back when, they were going to go through with this story of Spinelli finding out who his parents are but it was like that story was dropped, I hope RC ends up going through with this storyline of Spinelli finding out who his parents are

Spinelli I would want him to be a long-lost Quartermaine, perhaps have AJ turn out to be Spinelli's father and as for his mother I would make it Julia Barrett Brenda's sister, therefore making Spinelli related to Brenda because she would be his aunt and Alec Brenda's son would be Spinelli's cousin and Spinelli & Michael would be half-brothers

The logical choice should have been Sonny and.... Kate!

Sonny can't stand Spinelli while Kate has left her past life as Connie to become Kate Howard.

Imagine if Mac Scorpio turned out to be Spinelli's father, and imagine if Spinelli's mother turned out to be Katherine Bell, then that means Maxie and Spinelli would be related because they would be siblings especially with Mac as his father, they would be half-siblings via adoption since Mac adopted Maxie and Georgie as his daughters, and with Spinelli turning out to be a Scorpio as Mac's only biological child, Spinelli and Maxie could never be together ever again

But on the flip side he would be related to Robin because he would be her cousin and he would be Emma's cousin too

Or if Katherine Bell were his mother, then also Stefan Cassadine could be Spinelli's father, that would make Spinelli a Cassadine and he would be related to Sam because they would be cousins since Alexis Sam's mom would be Spinelli's aunt, since Alexis and Stefan were brother and sister, Spinelli would be Helena's grandson, can you imagine that?

And also Spinelli he could live at Wyndemere taking it over because if Spinelli has nowhere to live, he could then move into Wyndemere because he would be Stefan's son, so that would entitle him to live at the house

And Spinelli as a Cassadine, can you imagine that

I still want it to be AJ Quartermaine and Diane. I want them to have "hooked up" in college and of course AJ was too drunk to know she got pregnant or she hid it or something.

Then she gave the child up for adoption, for whatever reason the adoptive parents wound up leaving ythe child with Granny in Tennessee and that's how the connection wouldn't be made.

I don't see why it couldn't be Diane and AJ. Nevermind the fact that this is a soap opera and age seems to be irrelevant unless they are underage and drinking or the like.

Let's say Diane is 48-51 years old...seems fair.

Now, if she was in her 3rd year of law school that means at least 7 years in school. AJ is at least 2-4 years older than Jason and Jason is what 38ish? So if AJ is 41 and Diane is 48 then she could have found a frat boy in his first year at school and done the horrizontal mambo.

She likes them younger anyway.

And if AJ never said who he was...she'd never connect the dots simply because she put the baby up for adoption so never needed to and when she came to work for Sonny and Jason AJ was already dead (or wherever).

But I would rather Ned Ashton be Spinelli's dad and Diane turns out to be Spinelli's mom, Ned and Diane could have hooked up many years ago especially when Ned was Eddie Maine, he was a rock star, so it is possible Diane could have slept with Eddie without even knowing who he really is and considering Alexis and Ned used to be married, that would be one more guy that Diane and Alexis would share, Ned, and imagine Tracy's reaction if she were to find out that Spinelli was her grandson, Tracy would throw a fit not to mention Edward would be annoyed at the fact that Spinelli is Ned's son

But that would make Spinelli and Brook-Lynn half-brother and half-sister

And Spinelli and Brook-Lynn look like they could be siblings and Spinelli looks well enough like Tracy that he could pass for being her grandson

And it would bring Ned back

Not to mention Spinelli and Dillon would be related because Dillon would be his uncle

And Jason & Spinelli would be cousins, so it works out
