Carly went off her rocker and ran in front of the car Elizabeth was in while pregnant with Jax's baby, causing an accident and Elizabeth to lose the baby. The biggest heartache of all, having almost 5 years raising Jake and then losing him like she did. Yes Sam has lost two children at childbirth, (I know her child is actually alive but on screen she doesn't know that). I feel that Sam only really started bonding with the baby towards the end of her pregnancy. I'm not a Sam fan but I like her better when she is being a b!tch. I bought her grief more with the loss of Sonny's baby than this baby. I don't know if it's because Becky Herbst is a mother in real life or not but I feel that because of that she can draw on how she would feel if she truly lost one of her children. The loss of Jake are the scenes that were submitted for her Emmy nomination and I really hope she wins. ITA! I think part of what makes it more real with Elizabeth is the fact that she blames herself first. They are her children and she takes responsibility. I know that if something happened to my child, no matter who they were with or what they were doing I would feel responsible. I should have been there, I should have watched them more closely, I shouldn't have taken them on whatever activity we were at etc. I would feel significant blame and guilt. But no, whatsherface just immediately looks outward. It was never her fault she decided to check into a seedy motel so close to her due date. It isn't her fault she didn't include Jason from the start. It isn't her fault she demanded they have no guards on their honeymoon etc. She never takes responsibility for her choices. No matter how irrational or how innocent Elizabeth is in the situation at least she owns it. She feels responsible for all her decisions, not just the good ones. Great post J&L! Co sign! Good, glad you can finally see it I always try to never have the same avi as other Liason fans because when I am scrolling through and reading posts, I never look at the name. I look at the picture to see who wrote what I love your avi, I love the moments where they are just caught up in looking at one another. |
