I don't know if it has something to do with them feeling a "past connection" or not. In all honesty I also feel that Jaxxx have run their course.
Look at the ratings since Guza killed off Jake. That was an instantaneous drop of 600,000 viewers and they've never recovered from that. If anything the ratings had gotten worse. Yes there were missteps by GW but things were turning around and then RC came in. Look at the mess he was handed, if we all want GH to survive things have to change storywise and we have to WATCH the show.

Look at the changes he's already made, Liason is sharing a lot more screen time and I like that they are going the friendship route. Let them regain their footing and solidify the trust they have for each other that never went away. Who did Jason call to bail him out of jail? Elizabeth and that just made me all giddy inside. I understand why he called her, it was because of everything that Sam was going through and he didn't want to add to her stress. I'm not saying he was right or wrong I'm just saying I understand his motive in doing so.

He brought back crazy Heather and I love RM, she plays the role so well. I can't see anyone playing her like she does. Forget the whole Jason should be with Elizabeth or Sam debate, I'm loving watching the show again and both RC and FV have done that. While I will always be a fan of both Elizabeth and Jason separately and together, I started out as a GH fan and remain one.

I've had my favourite pairings in various soaps over the years but the only pairing I've ever, for lack of a better word coming to mind, felt this passionate about is Liason. When my favourite couple broke up it was oh well they're over and I "moved on", but with Liason there is something special about them. A certain Je ne sais quoi, that just draws you in.

I will say this about the previous regime, before it became totally agenda driven, look at the good job the writers did in creating both Liason, which we have been waiting for years to happen, and JaSam. Fanbase wars aside, because of them we have two passionate fanbases who love their couples warts and all. Again in all honesty I think we, the fans, and I mean all fans of GH regardless of what couple or character is your favourite should put GH as a whole first and enjoy what we are getting before it is gone and we all end up with nothing.

This was such good story, soapy, had many, many characters involved and invested. I really hope we are headed back in this direction, I like being interested in the stories again. It is nice to not know what is going to happen. I like when stories aren't predictable, which they have been for the past few years IMO.

This was such good story, soapy, had many, many characters involved and invested. I really hope we are headed back in this direction, I like being interested in the stories again. It is nice to not know what is going to happen. I like when stories aren't predictable, which they have been for the past few years IMO.
