I kinda felt that I might see signs of a story twist that might warrant our patience in that yesterday, Carly was asked by Sonny whether or not she believed him. I thought, “Please don’t let Sam be the only one who has “lost a bit of faith” in Sonny’s ability to make the right choice all the time, making her the odd woman out.”

Thankfully, Carly said the same thing Sam said, almost verbatim.

Another good sign was that in a rare moment of wisdom, Sonny called Carly out for telling Jason the truth about Robin – not necessarily because she wanted him to know the truth, but because she wanted to be the first to give him the news. Even before his wife. Sonny pointed out that she didn’t have Jason’s best interests at heart, and I could have kissed him for it! Hopefully, Jason heard everything that was said, and will let it sink in to that oh-so-damaged brain of his.

Mr. Morgan needs to remember that Mrs. Morgan, unlike Carly or Sonny, or anyone else really, always has Jason’s best interests at heart. Sam is always motivated by her love for him; and her acceptance of, and loyalty to, Jason should garner her some of the same.

No???

I have to believe that someday, all of our dreams will come true, and Jason is going to smack some sense into Carly simply by telling her, and then showing her, that HIS WIFE is Number One.

I guess we will have to be a little more patient, as it seems that perhaps the work of John McBain in Port Charles will include helping Jason to arrive at that destination via a little FEAR of losing Sam, or CONCERN about not meetings her needs. And while I detest contrived angst, I am more than ready for Jason to be scared that Sam may not always be so easily within reach.

I am all for wake-up calls!

GH appears to have pulled the out the seemingly impossible rabbit out of the proverbial hat in that they may just get more time on air. We would love for that time to be filled with romance, adventure, and magic!

Clearly, yesterday’s release of GH’s latest ratings indicate that the thought of more turmoil, fighting, and rivalries don’t exactly strike a harmonious chord in the minds, or more importantly, the hearts, of viewers! Can we just get some moments of Light and Love – especially with the characters that mean the most to us?

PLEASE???

I saw Ron Carlivati tweeted with fans the other day, and someone asked about Sam’s (lack of) dr.’s visits. He actually asked, (something to the effect of) “do you really want to see that? Most people tend to avoid the dr.”

Oh, Mr. Carlivati, *giggles* welcome to GENERAL HOSPITAL. (emphasis on the word HOSPITAL )

That question gave me a sneaking suspicion that our new head writer has not familiarized himself with GH’s SuperCouple’s incredible early history. Some of their best, most significant moments began at the hospital. Those moments helped lay the foundation for a Love Story like no other on Daytime TV! Certainly, more moments like this will help bring back the idea of LOVE IN THE AFTERNOON! (If Steve and Kelly don’t absolutely translate their scripts into LOVE each time, no one can!)

I truly hope it’s not just the 80′s-era History of GH that is remembered and honored onscreen. In order to appeal to the masses, their most recent and most successful history has to be honored as well.

We don’t have a moment to waste!
