It's been dropped that Jason's hit goes south and he gets shot in the chest. This could be tied to the spoiler that Sonny would be getting mad at Jason for messing up his work. I think that it's going to be Jason.

Yeah, I think this is tied to the drop that Liz was going to be blindsided when she realizes that Jason isn't over Sam. It was also dropped that Sam hears from Molly that TJ said that Jason was shot. It was also dropped at one point that Jason would need someone and Sam would be the only one who could help him. Maybe this is it?
