It's not unheard of, i've seen AMC and OLTL do this before and rumor has it that the set designers from OLTL have started working over at GH to prepare for something. So maybe there will be a storyline where Jason and Sam go looking for their son in Lanview since it looks like Todd is trying to get Tea back there asap. It seems only reasonable that they would travel to another town to continue the search. I also heard a possibility of Vicki, Natalie and other OLTL cast guest staring (not joining, so don't freak out) but maybe coming back for a brief crossover event. I think the GH writers and producers aren't stupid and they see the boost the OLTL fans have given them in ratings, so it makes sense they might play into that a bit more by throwing us a bone with a few more cameos from old favorites now lost to us. Anyway I'm not sure if GH has engaged in that type of storyline before, although i thought there had been an AMC/GH crossover once before. Also i keep hearing conflicting reports about John and Natalie. It's obvious that John will stay in PC when he finds out Sam is his sister and Anna offers him a job, what isn't obvious is how they would keep John's god guy persona if he left his wife and child behind. his Character doesn't seem the "type" so while i'd love for Natalie and Liam to join the GH cast, no one can get a firm grasp if that's what's in the cards, so any thoughts on that would be appreciated. One last odd connection i caught but not sure if others did, was that on the OLTL finale they showed Victor was alive laying in some bed somewhere and then when i started watching GH right after Robin "died" they showed her in the same way. My immediate reaction was they were connected, but it seems like a storyline they wouldn't open up unless Tea joined the GH cast. Welcome to the board Hellataz, I hope you join us in our bubble  Now to answer your questions; personally I don't mind the "set/town" changes as long as it is for this s/l only. I don't want integrated soap towns permently. Here is my opinion about the OLTL characters in GH/PC, if we were guarenteed years more of GH then I would say bring it on, bring all the characters they want from OLTL and integrate both soaps and make both fan bases happy. But the truth is GH will most likely be gone next year, we GH fans deserve to have our characters written with their final s/l w/o the invasion of the OLTL characters that already got their finale. I appreciate that OLTL fans are now watching GH but the reality is nothing is going to save the Soap Opera industry and in many ways I feel like the GH viewers and fans are getting the shaft. The OLTL cxharacters that are on GH right now is enough in my opinion. I like John McBain and I like Todd but Tea and Starr can leave anytime. As for the Robin/Victor connection I think if this s/l isn't written with a past or former GH villian holding Robin captive many GH fan's will be PO'd. As for Character crossovers the only one I know was Skye was on both Gh and AMC, she had a thing with Adam at one time. I hope this helped some but it is only my opinion and what I gathered from reading/posting on other soap boards. One thing I do know for fact, there is NO pleasing everyone so the writers will be better off to please themselves and the rest of us will just have to deal. Now I have a question for YOU; What do you think of Jasam? are you a fan?

I do remember the Anna crossover. Interesting rumor about the victor storyline being wrapped up so soon. I guess i can see it both ways, if they want to extend the GH/OLTL joint effort they could keep it a mystery or they could wrap it up and give OLTLers the first sign of closure. Devil-or-Angel I understand the feel of the invasion, foe me it was a welcome reprise, we finally got Todd back and then no more OLTL  And then for them to end the show on a cliff hanger (just like AMC) it's just cruel, so for me i was hoping this would just bring the OLTL fans a little closure. I had also hoped that the extra ratings/interest from OLT fans might help extend GH life span. I heard it had gotten extended for an undetermined amount of time, so maybe in the end it will be a good addition to the show. I did watch the show originally but i think over the years i phased GH out, so coming back i knew who many of the characters were, and then i started off watching just the scenes with OLTLers but eventually became interested in other PCers, so i hope GH fans can take comfort in the fact that the 'invasion" created new GH fans. LEVIC - yes Ft = Fulltime, i was kinda getting the impression that he was gaining a fan base in GH fans and so i can see him being offered a FT position on the show, instead of recurring, like Blair currently is. Hayleedog Secretly i'd kinda love an integrated two town show, but i know that would never happen and i would hate to anger the GH fans even more as most have been very accommodating to the OLTLers. But a life long ABC soap addict can dream ....  My more realistic wishlist is to bring Blair and Natalie to PC on a more permanent role, just to flush out John and Todd's families so they have more people to play off of and i'm ok with saying goodbye to the rest of lanview. I hope GH get's an extended life then what most assume, i hope that the additions breathe new life into GH and give it the extra ratings to use as leverage to keep it going beyond next year. Yes, you're right, i remember a crossover with Sky as well. The Victor/Robin thing remains a mystery to me, it just seems too coincidental that they are both lying in some bed in a secret location while their families think they are both dead. it seems too easy not to tie these stories together. As for Jasam, i like them a lot. I don't like Jason attacking John all the time and i'm glad he will feel some regret this upcoming week. But I think they are adorable together from what i've seen and i hope they both get a happy ending with the safe return of their baby and we don't have to wait too long for it to be revealed that it's Jason's baby. You ever notice when spoilers say "it will be revealed" that doesn't mean the characters find out, it means the audience does and then we have to wait another couple months for it to play out for the character to discover the truth. That's my fear about the same/John sibling story. I knew they were siblings the moment he mentioned his sister and they talked about their strange "connection" Which was the first week i started watching. So as an inpatient person, it's been a bit torturous knowing how these soaps play these storylines out forever. I've read a lot of angst about the Liz and Jason stuff, but i really believe it's nothing except maybe an arc created to create more anxiety in the minds of the Jasam fans. But out of all the GH story lines i've enjoyed the Jasam ones the most. Thanks everyone for being so welcoming and answering my post in depth. Welcome to our bubble.
